All members of the Hakedoro clan are born with extremely powerful lungs, even at a young age their lung capacity is greater than other humans. An amateur member of the clan can hold their breath up to two hours without activity while a veteran can survive a full day without a single breath.

Wind Element

The Hakedoro all have wind as one of their two elements.

Kekkei Genkai: The Hakedoro clan possess the ability to create and manipulate smoke. Often they use a medium such as cigarettes or pipes but they are capable of creating smoke from within their bodies. When used, the smoke can be classified in two forms, tangible and intangible. Intangible smoke is essentially, as close to normal smoke as possible. It will simply freefloat and cannot cause harm but is used in supplementary jutsu. In contrast tangible smoke is smoke given both physical form and mass. This smoke is used both offensively and defensively in a variety of jutsu and can be manipulated in real time by the user. Since the smoke is made internally, members can release it from any opening in their body but prefer to exhale the smoke due to their powerful lungs aiding in the release and creation of the jutsu. The smoke is created inside their body by converting their chakra into the smoke. Often done in the lungs thus resulting in them being far stronger than normal.

Name: Smokescreen
Type: Ninjutsu

Element: Smoke
Description: The user will exhale a large amount of smoke that will quickly cover the area, reducing visibility to near zero. Inside the smoke, the user will be able to sense all movement inside and its exact location. However the smoke is simply free floating so simple wind jutsu can blow it away. It will also dissipate after several posts have passed. The amount of smoke and the duration it lasts depends on the rank of the user.

C - 30m in diameter, lasts 3 posts

B - 50m in diameter, lasts 5 posts

A - 75m in diameter, lasts 7 posts

S- 100m in diameter, lasts 10 posts

Name: Dark Smog
Type: Ninjutsu
Rank: C-S
Element: Smoke
Description: Similar to Smokescreen, the user will exhale a thick cloud of smoke. The smoke is a dark shade of grey to black depending on its potency. Inside the smoke, people will find it difficult to breathe as the smoke blankets out the oxygen in the area. At higher ranks, those inside may suffocate if they remain inside for too long.

C - Covers 30m, lasts 3 posts, causes minor oxygen deprivation and heavy coughing.

B - Covers 50m, lasts 5 posts, causes more severe oxygen deprivation, heavier coughing and lightheadedness.

A - Covers 75m, lasts 7 posts, can black out if inside for five posts + previous effects.

S - Covers 100m, lasts 10 posts, 0 visibility, can black out if inside for three posts + previous effects

Name: Smoke Manipulation
Type: Ninjutsu
Rank: C-S
Element: Smoke
Description: The standard form of the clan's Kekkei Genkai. The user will create and exhale thick amounts of smoke and will then give it physical form. The smoke can be manipulated into anything the user wishes, from small animals and items to giant monstrosities. While the smoke can be powerful and deal physical damage, they have the durability of a shadow clone and a single good strike will cause the object to dissipate. The size and duration the smoke can be and last is dependent on the user's rank.

C - Human sized objects. Last up to posts
B - Car sized objects. Last up to 5 posts
A- Small huse sized objects. Last up to 7 posts
S - 3 story house sized objects. Last up to 10 posts

Name: Smoke Clone
Type: Ninjutsu
Rank: B
Element: Smoke
Description: A more advanced form of smoke manipulation, the user will exhale a large amount of smoke that takes on human form. Unlike the standard form, the smoke can move independently and is not tethered to the medium. The clone works in the same manner of a shadow clone. Having a physical form and able to fight, its strength is equal to the user. However when struck, it will not dissipate upon the first hit but will reveal its form. The clone can sustain a total of three hits.

Description: The user will inhale and blow out a powerful cloud of solidified smoke in the shape of a fist. The fist travels at a high speed, 100km/h and is the size of the user's head. The cloud cannot change direction and simply flies until it fades out or collides with something.

Name: Buzzsaw
Type: Ninjutsu
Rank: C
Element: Smoke
Description: The user will inhale deeply and blow out a flat circular cloud. The sides have teeth similar to those found on a buzzsaw blade. The blade flies in a straight line at 75km/h and spins at 50km/h. The blade can cut through a tree with ease.

Rank: A
Element: Smoke
Description: By exhaling a large amount of smoke, users can create a sealed off area of smoke. The smoke creates powerful walls around the area and while it may look to be smoke, it is extremely strong, durable and solid. The smoke also makes its way along the gound so people cannot simply burrow their way to safety. This can be used to create a sealed off area for one on one combat, or to place people in a holding area while he deals with other business. The smoke cannot be entered from the outside

Secret Clan Items

Name: Cigarettes
Rank: C
Type: Enhancer
Natural Abilities: One of the Hakedoro clan's secret items. Appearing as a pack of cigarettes, these are the most common medium for Hakedoro members to use. While they are used in the same manner as a cigarette they last 1000x longer and contain no tobacco or any other substance. They instead, contain a seal unique to the clan. When one of these cigarettes are used in tandem with clan jutsu, the cost of the jutsu is reduced by 10%

Natural Abilities: Similar to the cigarettes, the cigar is simply a more potent version, but harder to come by. When used in tandem with a clan jutsu, the chakra cost is reduced by 20%.

Type: Enhancer
Natural Abilities: Similar to the cigarettes, the pipe is extremely rare and often only used by older clan members. Reduces clan jutsu cost by 30%

Type: Enhancer
Natural Abilities: A massive pipe that is passed down from the head of the clan to the next. The pipe is made of solid steel and is the length of a full grown man's arm. When used with clan jutsu, the cost is reduced by 50%

History:

The Hakedoro clan has existed as long as Kumogakure has existed itself. For generations the Hakedoro were a single family, bonded together by honour and loyalty. They specialized in both infiltration and assassinations and though they were never written in the history books, were one of the founding pillars that Kumogakure was built upon. As the village began to grow and the wars subsided, the Hakedoro quickly realized that their way of life would be unable to continue much longer and thus, they stepped out of their shadows and merged into the village. Their family quickly grew into a full clan several generations later, with the main line being the only one knowing of their bloody past. As well as the only one keeping those practices alive for future generations in case the time for bloodshed were to come again. In the village, most members live outside the clan quarters, only about 30% of the clan remains in their territory. Many take up various small jobs and are unaware of their latent abilities. Others join the local police force and fight to keep the peace within their own borders. However, all living within the quarters are trained to become ninja and whether they know it or not, continue their clan's founding practices.

Currently, there are well over two hundred members but only about 45% are able to use, and are even aware of their abilities. Currently among some of the elder members, there is the fear of the clan dying out . Not by war, not by famine, but by simply being forgotten. With more and more people choosing to live within the village and not the clan quarters, the thinner the bloodline becomes and their traditions fading. Inside the clan territory, the majority of residents are over the age of sixty. Only about 26% are of genin age and are all being taught the ways of the clan. The clan is run by the current head, Hachi Hakedoro and a small committee of advisors who overlook the various affairs of the clan. With the declining rate of members in the clan able to use their kekkei genkai, the production of their items has dropped immensely. Pipes are no longer made in preference of passing them down to the younger generations when they are ready.

This will need to be better explained. Why are they highly attuned with the wind element (explain the connection with wind and smoke etc) and to what extend do they have skill with the wind element (e.g all wind element justu cost 20% less chakra or something)

- Regarding your Smoke KKG you will need to explain how they can release it from their body. Do they have a unique circulatory system, are they genetically different to accomodate this (other than large lungs). Also what part does chakra play in the manipulation of smoke. ie to manipulate it you must have your chakra imbued into the smoke to form and shape it etc.

- Regarding jutsu such as the smokey jail and smokescreen, I was thinking that you could utilize the 'dirty' property of smoke and its domination of oxygen over a effectted area. With intagible smoke it would be difficult to breath in immediate that are effected, due to lack of oxygen. For a clan that can control smoke I woudl imagine this would become even more dangerous.
