All members may have upto two active RP threads running at the same time. Only one of these can ever be an action based/mission thread. While the may exist simultaneously they must cover separate time periods and not contradict one another. At no times should you be at two places at once or be in one country one moment another the next. This is to allow people to train or socialise while involved in other threads that may or may not be moving as fast as they might like. Character death in one thread, invalidates the other.

Her hair shook in the wind, fluttering to the demands of the wind. Her feet moved against the soft dirt ground as muted thuds, leaving a trace of trailmarks, clearly visible enough for someone to follow. Of course, just a quick look at Suzu would be enough for anyone to guess who she was. Most Kiri villagers seemed to hide their face with a thin veil; enough to prevent others from seeing the face behind. However, Suzu wasn't modest in any way, and seemed to take advantage of her status as a Kiri shinobi.

Not many Genin made it through the Chuunin exams, and despite the fact that the Genin numbers in Kiri were equal to any other village, they were all slaughtered, leaving Kiri with the least amount of shinobi. The ones who continued to walk on Kiri soil were considered "powerful," as they probably were, having survived the inhuman rules of the exams.

But it wasn't the same for Suzu. Her participation in the Chuunin exams barely lasted two minutes, as she was dragged to the Mizukage's office minutes into the exam. There she was explained that she'd be granted special permission to graduate to a Chuunin shinobi, without having to participate in the exams. The Mizukage took a liking to Suzu's current position as a medic, and he wasn't about to let those rare finds spill their blood.

As expected, the few people who graduated Chuunin exams the proper way, thought Suzu's special treatment was a bit too much. As the true reason pertaining Suzu's promotion was to be kept between the Mizukage and herself, the others assumed it was because of her rare kekki genkai. Rash judgements against Suzu and the Mizukage were made, and forbidden to ever speak of the truth, Suzu began ignoring.

Lost in her thoughts, she hadn't realized that her feet had carried her to the west wing of the village. During her days in the orphanage, she was forbidden to enter the west wing, as the caretakers had warned them several times about the ghosts that lurk about the town. Rows and rows of almshouses were aligned parallel to the small river that flowed halfway through the town, and to the left of the rows, a small confined area was present. The rock sign placed at the threshold was covered with moss, but everyone knew it as the graveyard.

Unlike other graveyards, this one was poorly constructed. The size wasn't enough to support the large amount of deaths that occured in Kiri and many gravestones were abused and vandalized. Entering, Suzu stepped over the sign, taking a step into the mossy soil. Few gravestones stood untouched, and even few of them stood with flowers. Some of them have been dug up by bandits, and even some bones lay present at her feet.

She was unsure what type of people had been buried [and disturbed] here, but considering the small amount of gravestones, she could assume it was for the higher ranking shinobi; the ones who did great things. A small, measly Genin dying in the Chuunin exam wouldn't be considered "important." Suzu stood in front of a gravestone which looked as it had taken quite a beating, and bent down, to see the words carved into it.

When she considered it was too abused to even make out the words, her feet began to move deeper into the graveyard. All the stones were equal in size, meaning everyone was equal in their status. It brought back memories of her childhood when her real mother had told her that her real father had died while protecting his country. It took her a few years to find out that it had been a lie to cover up for the fact that her mother didn't actually know who Suzu's father had been. It'd be pointless to search her father's gravestone in this mess- he could still be alive for all she knew.

[F] Paying Respects. Vide
PostSubject: Re: [F] Paying Respects. [F] Paying Respects. EmptySun 21 Feb 2010, 10:11 pm

Toya watched the sky, pondering over the events that had occurred in te last few months. It was quite a depressing chain of thoughts, especially when compared to the blue expanse above him. Blue sky was rare in Kiri. Especially during thing time of year. It was as if the world was happy at hi misery, he thought darkly. Stupid sky. Never nice on a good day, eh? Toy wasn't really sure who he was angry at. It couldn't be the sky. It had no sentience. He briefly thought about a God, but quickly tried to clear his head of it. Thinking about God made him feel guilty nowadays. A fallen team mate; another who had just woken from a coma and now seemed so different.

Those cursed exams had ruined everything. He missed the old days. The days when the most daunting thought of the day was only trivial. He tore his gaze away from the azure beauty from above, looking at the scummy streets instead. The veiled people made a sea of grey coats and veils around him. They could see he was chuunin, and avoided him. People were scared of him now. Toya knew they'd seen him slit someone's throat. The other chuunin would have been proud that people feared them, but not Toya. He wanted people to feel safe. He sighed, and stood up from the flat rock he'd been sitting on. The circle around him grew bigger, much to his annoyance.

He decided to visit Maru's grave. Last time he went was a while ago, and the grave had been quite grimy when he saw it. First he turned around and walked into his house. He rooted around for a while, until he found what he was looking for. A bottle of some weak acid mixed with a few herbs. It was a special mixture he' found out about it Kusa, used for cleaning. It was good for most things, and he assumed it would be fine for the simple stone grave. "I'm going to see Maru!" he called out to hi mother as he left the house.

As he entered the graveyard, he grimaced. The grave raiders had been at it again. Some bodies were freely exposed to the air, and were heavily mutilated. The sickly-sweet smell of decay was heavy in the air, and he found he'd have to put a napkin up to his face so he didn't have to smell it. He managed to re-cover a few bodies, and thankfully the smell had gotten better. Now he sat in front of Maru' grave, rubbing some of the cleaning liquid on his cloth to wipe off the grime on his stone. By the time he was done, his clean white cloth was a disgusting black and had a layer of God-knows-what of it. He folded it carefully and put it in a pouch. He would clean it at the river later.

After a while of staring at the clean, light-grey stone, he noticed another person was at the graveyard. She was a girl, and from her clothing he assumed she was a chuunin, but who? He'd never seen her before, and he knew most chuunin. Instantly he was on his guard. What if it was a spy?
He racked his brain to try and think who it was, and suddenly realised. She was the 'special case' girl. The other chuunin had told him that she was made a chuunin and never took the exam. Some said it was because she was one of the only medics, others said she slept with the mizukage. He had a feeling the latter was only a spiteful rumour made by the jealous, but he didn't really care. She was lucky that she never had to go through those exams.

Not many chuunin visited graves. They were too interested in sending the living into them than they were in paying repects to the dead. Then he realised she was a medic. She was more intereted in healing than harming. He already preferred her to the other chuunin. He didn't have much of a reputation among them considering he won without his opponent dying, and decided to go talk to her.
He walked over to the gravestone she was looking at and bowed respectfully. "Hello," he said friendlily. "I'm Toya."

Perhaps he was still serving Kiri, aligned with some special forces. There could also be a chance that he was with the ANBU black ops, as Koori clan members were favoured by the officials, generation after generation. It served as an advantage to them, but after the sudden disappearance of the members, the village looked down upon them as some type of gold diggers, leaving the village in search of more fame and fortune. The people who had disgraced the Koori name had been never forgiven by her ancestors, and the thought of them with beating hearts in other parts of the world made her sick. However, it explained her special promotion, and could possibly explain her father's as well. Wherever the hell he was.

Moving to the northwing of the confinements, she saw the feint gleam of light ahead, beyond the cliff and at the direction of the snowy village. Even fewer shinobi resided there, and rarely visited the heart of Kiri. Some say that a legend was once born there and decided to turn upon the village. Other say that the snowy village is where the Koori clan came into existance. A magical force of lightning had cast down upon them and had given their special manipulation powers. Suzu believed neither; most of the world's truths began to fog up as the lies became crystal clear.

She took her seat down on a sturdy stone, which likely was a grave, but didn't have the patience to check, or think of it as disrespectfulness. The godforsaken mist had prevented her from seeing much more than the gravestone sitting three feet away from her, and raising her head, Suzu saw that the rest of the town was lost in the midst of the fog. A smile then crept onto her face, remembering the times when her mother once said that the village of Kirigakure was magical. One moment, all would be clear, but in an instant, everything would lose to the mercy of the fog.

Another figure seemed to be lurking about in the grave. Kiri was home to many insane and dangerous people, and it also had its fair share of slightly weird individuals as well. Although it wasn't considered different to be out by the graveyard in this thick mist, the lack of visitors overall made Suzu wonder what his intent was. Surely he wasn't one of the grave abusers, as his movements were too sharp to belong to a mere bandit.

It was like looking through mirror; as she moved, so did he. It was quite evident that he knew Suzu's presense was present, and judging from his sly motive, he too, wasn't sure of her reason for being here. Had he been just another villager from the almshouses, Suzu would've left him alone, but as she moved closer and waited for the fog to descend, it was clear that he didn't fit in with the villagers.

His build had mostly given away his true identity, as not many people had the strong aura about. The lack of a mask, or a veil had also been a hint as to his identity, and his overall clean look about him gave away the fact that he was a shinobi. He looked too old to be a Genin, and despite her doubts, it was reasonable to assume he was of the Chuunin rank, or higher. Would he be easy to toy with..?

"Suzu Makeshi." she said in a crisp manner as she nodded, not knowing how to properly acknowledge a bow. "May I ask why you're here at this part of the town? Surely you're not just taking a walk and enjoying the view. Of course, the graves aren't really considered eye candy, but nothing in Kiri seems to be either."

[F] Paying Respects. Vide
PostSubject: Re: [F] Paying Respects. [F] Paying Respects. EmptyTue 23 Feb 2010, 12:28 am

A mist had settled, once again blocking out the sky. Finally the weather matched his mood, although now he had some newbie to mess with, the day didn't seem so bad. He smiled at her mischievously, noticing she wasn't one for formalities. She had replied with a single nod. She seems curt, he noted silently, moving towards her. He could see her intelligent eyes, analysing his movements and overall demeanour. Now he saw her much more clearly. She was quite pretty. She had light brown eyes and long dark hair. Her skin seemed perfect; too perfect. Her pupils were two tight circles, almost like dots. He could tell she wasn't used to brightness. And her clothes... She probably had guys drooling over her all the time. Truthfully he didn't blame them. A girl dressed like that was obviously looking for attention.
Maybe she did do the Mizukage, he thought.

Now that he thought of it, the Mizukage really did look like a pedo. He had similar eyebrows to a convicted child moleter he had seen when visiting a prison. He briefly wondered whether all perverts had strange eyebrows, but tried not to let his mind wander. He looked straight into her eyes. The eyes(and possibly eyebrows?) of someone told you a lot about them. He could see that she wore a slightly aggresive nature. She seemed ahead of herself. Faintly amused that this flirtatious little girl was a chuunin, he couldn't help but wonder how much he could mess with her. He felt a little angry that the mizukage would allow such a seemingly unsuitable girl become chuunin because she was a slut! Still, the thought of her fighting people made him smile. She proably took off her shirt to distract them, and shot senbon out her breasts! He suppressed a giggle, trying to retain a serious(ish) expression. He didn't want her to think he was weak.

She seemed uncomfortable with formalities as well, he could tell from her reaction to his bow. Apart from the fact her face(and a lot more) was in plain view, there wasn't much which made her seemed ninja-ish. Surely she didn't have enough clothes to conceal any good knives? Maybe he'd spar her later, but not now. His arm was still a little sore from scrubbing and cleaning Maru's stone. He briefly wondered if she had any deceased friends or family she was visiting, but she could just as well have been looking for some rich guy's grave to raid. The elders said that the graves were all uniform to show that everyone was considered equal(more like shit he thought), so it was probably luck if you stumbled on a warrior buried with his expensive sword. Her clothes did seem to have some grime on them. Maybe this girl was even worse than she seemed. Not only a promiscuous bimbo, she might also be a grave raider! Grave raiding was technically legal, but he hated the raiders with a passion. A ninja probably wouldn't do something so low. He dismissed thoughts of raiders quickly, sending it to the back of his thoughts.

He smiled in response to her question. "This may seem like a complete shit hole, but nothing is always as it seems," he replied evasively, trying to ignore the subject of Maru. "Anyway, bodies aren't the only thing hidden under this graveyard," he said, his musical voice echoing on the gravestones. He wanted to show her that proper chuunin were also interesting. All the 'special case' ninja in the world wouldn't be real ninja if they never observed anything. "Haven't you noticed? Some of the ground seems...strange when you walk on it. There's literally a whole world," he paused, suddenly looking straight into her eyes to make it dramatic, "hidden underneath."
He was silent for a few seconds for the words to settle in, and then swiftly changed the subject. "Why are you here anyway? Like you said, this place is disgusting and full of creeps."

Following his demonstration, Suzu also began to copy his moves. He wasn't the type to attack her with various small talk, as it was evident from his curious nature that he liked to observe his prey before eating it alive. She wouldn't be surprised if he started sniff her first. But shaking the thought off as she would to a fly, Suzu noticed that his eyes kept wandering throughout her body, as if he was getting an X-ray vision. Though this typical nature, especially from men, was predictable, something about him, whether it was his aura, or his overall curiosity, didn't feel too comfortable with Suzu.

As he let his eyes freely roam about her body, Suzu was trying to make some eye contact with hers. At times, she felt a strong urge to kick this guy's chin upwards so he could actually take a look at her eyes, but doing so would most likely make him wonder why she was revealing so much when it was obviously uncomfortable. It also seemed he was getting quite a kick out of the view, seeing as his facial expressions changed just a bit, into what looked like a surpressed laugh. Since when did breasts become so funny? And if you haven't noticed, my eyes are up here.

In comparison to watching grass grow, waiting for this person to raise his head seemed to take lightyears. Though she could freely admit that she enjoyed the attention, it seemed he was observing more than just her appearances. Like before, she wondered why she wasn't sniffed.

"In a graveyard, bodies are buried in caskets, and in those caskets, a family might put in some of the deceased one's belongings. Such as their journals, or their favourite jewellery." Suzu began, matching his sing-song voice. And from his attitude, she could tell that he looked down upon her in terms of shinobi abilities and strengths. "The ground may seem strange to you, but the dirt here is the same dirt that surrounds Kiri. Seeing as this graveyard is safe from the harsh waves from the sea, maybe that's why it seems a little dry, or different, as you say. And as for this underworld you believe in.. you and too much sake seems to be the only logical explanation."

Though she was ready for whatever he was going to throw at her next, she didn't expect for him to question her motive being here. If Suzu were to truthfully answer, she'd say that there was no reason, but she knew better than to give a stranger such empty answers. She knew a lot about them, especially the secret she kept with the Mizukage. As the public was forbidden to know the truth, they stooped so low as to make up their own rumours and assumptions. No doubt he was a believer in them.

"I'm not sure why you would ask such a question to a grave visitor," Suzu began, forming legitimate words in her head. "People visit the graves to pay respect to the deceased, and that's exactly why I'm present at the graveyard. Though I don't know most of these people, I do believe my fallen ancestors are buried in this graveyard, somewhere." Half-lying, Suzu excellently showed the dangers in asking such rhetorical questions. "Or perhaps the question was thrown at me because you thought I had another purpose? I guess it's fair for me to assume that, as I can tell from your previous, quite curious behaviour that it's quite evident you've assumed lots of things about me."

Sending a subtle message about his over analyzation of her body, she played a small, sly smile across her face. This seemed to be quite a thought-out battle between the both, and she knew that he wouldn't crack under such small pressure. No, she had to take things up to a whole new level. But for now, she waited for another sleezy reply. The fun would have to wait until she successfully breaks his ego. Getting through the concrete around shouldn't be hard.

[F] Paying Respects. Vide
PostSubject: Re: [F] Paying Respects. [F] Paying Respects. EmptyFri 26 Feb 2010, 5:55 am

"She's not like the rest of us child, I had the pleasure of personally examining her file and she hasn't done so much as a simply blood letting, yet she prides herself as an Eijutsu utilizer. She's the only one out of us who could turn down the power for the strength of morality that makes a true healer and differentiates this one from those demons in the night who come here, not to pay respects, but to degrade the names on these tombstones and use them as careless labels on a cadaver bag." Kakuhan interjected, his body laying lazily ontop of two tombstones obscured by the mist which was now passing its way over him, the strands streaming off of his body and clothes which seemed oddly bare for such a cold locale. He wasn't primarily concerned with his temperature, he always came to whatever cemeteries he had access to, medical science doesn't just develop itself, there was work to be done and bodies to be cut open and studied. This one benefited from the gruesome work of those such as himself, though she had never contributed to them, which annoyed him slightly.

Kakuhan had only brought with him a single puppet, well, one that he already had ready and active and it lurked behind the tombstones, his hand dropping down the stone and the strings reaching through the gap between the two stones he laid upon. Now whom exactly, out of his stores, had he chosen to bring with him for this task? Well that was a surprise that he was just about ready to reveal to the questioning little Chunnin. He hated the little rumor mills, they agitated him when the only one pure of the blood of this village was the one they targeted and thus, though his personal work had been interrupted (which he fully intended to continue no matter who watched him because they didn't have the same influence with the Mizukage and they would simply be assumed to be liars) he made it his new work to handle the delicate purity of the medical ninja.

"No, she's not like the rest of us, and I know whats going on in your little brain. Believe me..." Kakuhan directly looked into the eyes of the second Chunnin, the questioner, and made it very clear from his solid blue eyes that he had no intention to allow him to give an answer. If the Chunnin didn't recognize him, then he'd have to make sure that they at least acknowledged his name and rank, so he figured he'd have to state it. The girl knew him, she'd have to, he was everything she wasn't, a true corpse crafter, while she he healed, he destroyed. He remembered watching her during her training on those odds days he was bothered to care about the classes by direct order of the Mizukage and while he was explaining to them the best way to cut the bone in twain with a fork, she was giving him such a look of disgust that it made him nearly reconsider his cruelty. Nearly.

Kakuhan raised his finger-less gloved hand up in the air as he swiftly raised a leg in an arch, kicking off the tombstone and twirling his body, landing on his feet while previously, in mid-air, he yanked the cords on his gruesome puppet and pulled out the creature which seemed to leap from behind the stones in front of him straight from some child's nightmare. The puppet was a patchwork of human limbs, each ended with a vicious talon and its whole body black from the blood-less decay and covered in poisonous hairs that made it look a bit like a demonic spider assembled by human hands. If you considered Kakuhan human, he was part plant after all but even the young woman knew nothing of that trait.

It was, in part, the reason he chose to reside in dead places. There were no plants to speak to him, and he was annoyed with their company quite a bit because of their small minds and even smaller use of their minds. They were worse company than a corpse though he loved them all the same, his own nature telling him that they were his kind. Silence was something he appreciated greatly and was part of the reason he used his eyes to hold the words of the Chunnin, but now realized he'd have to explain himself now like he'd intended, his mind being sidetracked by the stillness.

"Former Hellsing Operative, Kirinogakure Jounin, Shokobutsukon, Kakuhan. Unlike the girl I don't like the thoughts going on in your head and I'm very vocal about it. Not a spot of blood on her, external," Kakuhan paused a moment, smiling as he thought of the implication made with the statement he was about to make. An intended one, because he could speak of vulgarity but not in front of a lady, Hellsing hadn't raised him into a brute, he was gentleman even if he was a new breed of such. ",internal. I hate to see childish rumors given life in the actions of the village Shinobi, come now, grow up. I've heard everything, none of it is accurate, but I could tell you a rumor thats more accurate."

Kakuhan's grin spread wide, his blue hair drifting in the wind and mist and betraying the thoughts in his head as he examined the Chunnin, he had no name for this one, though Suzu was well enough known to him. That was a nice body, could use some modifications here and there, maybe a few canons, some senbon launchers, maybe a water pressure shooter...Kakuhan was in the habit of spending so much time with his puppets that the line between human and weapon had become blurred.

That girl was the most annoying thing he'd ever seen but he'd be damned if they hated her for inaccurate reasons, that was unacceptable. If she had any honor in her, then she'd have silenced these rumors with a blade in the heart of whomever spoke them first, but he supposed Hellsing honor was a tad bit different than the normal population. Kakuhan had to avoid violence, the village had its own rumors about him, most of which were false and thus he had a personal reason to guard the truth in this matter. Hailing from Iwagakure, the incidents around his arrival made him a mysterious figure to everyone.

Who doesn't love a good mystery? Everyone. Nobody truly enjoys a mystery, they enjoy their minds being stimulated and receiving a reward for it, that is not a mystery, that is a delayed answer. When no answer is given, they become annoyed and instead of leaving things well enough alone, they fill in their own answers. So he wouldn't leave them hanging and with his puppet drawn he smiled and answered. "Lord Mizukage hasn't lain a finger on the girl, and if you doubt my word on that fact then you're obviously not very trusting of him. If you can't trust her, I don't think you could trust me, but then again I don't need your trust, I need your comprehension. If you have anything to say about her, say it to me, say it about me, your rumors don't cut into my skin. Do you fancy yourself a man?"

The boy's lips remained shut, perhaps interuppted by another being in the graveyard. She mentally slapped herself for not realizing his presense sooner, but how could anyone? With the fog constantly acting as barriers, it would be impossible spot anyone who aren't in the two feet radius. His voice seemed to break the unnerving silence, his voice travelling loomingly around both Chuunin. It didn't surprise her in the slightest when he boasted his knowledge of her to the other boy; Suzu had become a Kiri gossip icon during the past few weeks. No one had ever escaped the wrath of the Chuunin exams before.

His voice had changed, she thought, instantly recalling the vague memories of Academy classes. Though she couldn't remember the name of the girl who always seated herself beside Suzu, the recollection of the medical sciences class organized itself easily in her mind. The rememberance of that particular event that which almost forced Suzu to stab that fork into the man's heart would forever linger in her mind, like permanent marker on paper. She had no respect for him, and the thought of being protected by such a person left her cold.

His startling change of position wasn't enough for Suzu to flinch, and despite his opinion, puppets were merely dead pets, useless in battle, and just a nuisance to carry around. His body seemed to grow with every step he took towards her, and his eyes wore a piercing gaze; one that outlined the harsh training he had most likely troubled himself with. Suzu could admit that he was skilled, and definitely knew what he was doing. However, she could also see that the power had somehow gone to his head, as his ego hadn't at all been fixed in the slightest.

For someone with that kind of power and position, Suzu questioned why he had started indulging himself in petty arguments like these. Perhaps he was mocking the two, or even trying to test his intimidating powers. It seemed it had worked on the other boy, seeing as he kept still, and refrained from speaking. It seemed he had taken a few steps back, knowing not to mess with this guy. "You seem to be able to silence a crowd. Still the same person.." Hell-what? Her voice played an annoying tone, trying to explain that his help was unnessary and futile. Rumours spread well and fast throughout Kiri. When one person knows, the whole island will be informed of it in no less than a day.

"I don't need your help," she said, flatly. "And if you haven't noticed, a single intimidation trick won't do much to put even a small halt on the rumour mill. Your efforts are in vain." Avoiding eye contact, she slowly started for the exit. She knew that he was going to notice, so for the sake of having the last word, one last remark had to be made.

"And I guess I don't need to know your reason for being here, I probably already know." The fog had covered most of her body, her eyes lost in the mist. "How's the whole teaching thing going? Teach anyone else to permanently stop another's heart during battle? Or even break their leg bones without moving a muscle?" The memories flodded back too fast for Suzu to handle. Finally turning her back against him, her voice wavered. "So continue on with your illegal autopsy performances. You sicken me."

[F] Paying Respects. Vide
PostSubject: Re: [F] Paying Respects. [F] Paying Respects. EmptySat 27 Feb 2010, 4:00 am

Toya felt a little embarrassed, although he knew that the girl he was lookin at probably felt like he was perving on her. He tried to make a little roll of his eyes to try and convey that she 'wasn't his type,' but he had a feeling she had missed it. Great; instead of having a bit of a joke with the girl he was with, she now thought he was a pervert. I'll have to convince her I'm gay or something he thought, considering various options. He didn't want 'pervert' on his list of reasons why the chuunin were starting to dislike him. It was like they'd had an unspoken conversation and the wrong message had been sent. Actually, that was exactly what was happening! Anyway, he thought sullenly, now realising that this probably would be the first(or maybe third) thing that would start the snowball rolling. Eventually more and more and more bad things would come his way as a result of the first things. I was assessing the likelyhood of those rumours, and wondering where the hell she keeps her weapons! Seriously how can she conceal anything with those clothes?

Well now that he thought of it, the Mizukage would never do something like that, even if he wanted to. His reputation would under far too much risk. He was not only a ninja. He was the leader of a whole ninja village! There was probably another reason. He knew the others breifly mentioning something about being a medical ninja. Medical ninja were nice. He had hardly met any, but he always figured that anyone who had managed to grow to become a healer after being raised in a village full of bloodthirst must be an amazing person. He would have to try and work out how to apologize without speaking the words, and shatter the existence of this delicate imaginary conversation.

Anyway, was it illegal to merely think something. Somehow (no prizes for guessing how!) she had realised he was considering how plausible the rumours people made were. He liked to keep an open mind, but now he felt bad for even thinking a ninja would do such things to gain a high position.

He could see the repulsion clear on her face, and felt ashamed. She now probably thought he was some egomaniac who thought she was a whore. It was clear he had made a new enemy now. Perfect. This was only supposed to be a bit of a game. He listened to her replies, and decided how to make it up to her. He had a secretive smile on his face as she explained away his 'dramatic' speech on the catacombs. Of course, she didn't know about the catacombs if she was blathering on about the rock formation, when it was all practically the same. He decided not to tell her now, but to make up for being rude to her in their imaginary conversation, he planned on showing her a few tunnels, although all blocked off from the main catacombs obviously. He didn't want her to bring the whole ninja community down there. It was supposed to be a quiet place of secrets, reflexion and solace.

He listened to her replies, and his face fell as broke into the reality of the imaginary conversation. "I-I didn't assume anything. I just keep an open mind, that's all." at least that had settled it. "Anyway, you questioned my being here, without me taking offense. Shouldn't I recieve the same right?" He felt better now he had a legitatmate reason to be angry at her. He was about to begin talking of the catacombs when a voice interrupted him from behind.

He refrained from going insane, and tying to chop the rude man's head off as he interrupted. How long had he been there for? Toya didn't turn around. He felt anger swelling up inside him. Anouther person? Great how worse could this get?
This was stupid. All he wanted to do was have a bit of a joke with the newbie, and now a graveyard creep was behind him just as he was about to reveal the tunnels beneath the graveyard. Since he had not heard the man spying on them, Toya assumed it was a ninja, of a higher skill than him. Probably a jounin. He turned around and watched him speak, frowning. He had been here long enough for Toya to ask Suzu what she was doing here. That wasn't too bad at least. He didn't like him very much, although only for two simple reasons. He came at maybe the most awkward time imaginable. The other reason was because of the way he was sitting , laying on the tombstone like they were his thrones. He talked about how good Suzu was for her thoughts on morality, but disrepected the very graves they were at!

He could tell Suzu also disliked him as well. She said something to him about not needing help, and he sighed, slightly annoyed. If any of this got out, Toya would be up to his neck in problems. Obviously this man too thought he was a rumour spreader. [i]Geez, just kill me for having an open mind why don't you? he thought sarcastically. This was going bad. There was a chuunin that he didn't like here, trying to scare him off and protect her. "Look," he said sighing heavily, "I'm not assuming anything. I'm not believing any random thing I may or may not have heard somewhere, okay?"

Suzu spoke again, and began to walk off. There was tension between the two. He wondered if he should stay, but thought it'd be better to follow the girl and patch things up with her. "It was...interesting meeting you," he said, bowing politely before running off after Suzu, who had inched away slowly to try and apologise.

[F] Paying Respects. Vide
PostSubject: Re: [F] Paying Respects. [F] Paying Respects. EmptySat 27 Feb 2010, 4:41 am

"Hmph," Kakuhan said, though it was more of a noise than a speaking part, words being spoken and noises being made though he didn't think you adressed it as made when ti was taking the place of words, but he didn't know, he wasn't a grammar guy. He was a doctor, if he would venture so far as to call himself one, but the boy didn't even bother to answer his question which bothered him. What kind of man doesn't answer a direct question? What did they teach these kids these days? Was chivalry dead as the men laid to rest here?

He pushed the puppet out with a jerk of his wrist, sending it forwards in front of the running boy with a leap as he made a run for the girl, Kakuhan strolling up as the puppet turned its nonexistant head towards the boy and gave him a glare with its raised bristles. Organic puppets were so amusing, so much more fun than simple non-thinking ones, where was the fun in that? They were like assembled puppies to him. "You don't chase a woman like that."

Kakuhan sighed aloud and brushed aside the dust on a nearby gravestone, bending down on his knees and reading the name before speaking. "Poor poor Harame, you see this kid?" He pointed a thumb back at the Chunnin, as if he were speaking to the stone and not to him. "Hasn't got a shred of man in him, doesn't even know a few basic rules of chivalary, this generation is so sad isn't it?" It was at this point that Kakuhan extended his hand to catch the girl by the shoulder, holding her in place with a firm enough grip to show that he had no intention of allowing her to simply leave like she was.

"Women from my day and age at least say goodbye, now now, you may not like the way I do things but I am an honorable man. I was raised in blood, so I live in blood, thats simply how things worked out. Would you hate a creature for acting in its nature?" As he spoke the word 'nature' a vine sprouted out from his palm, his skin parting to reveal a rose that emerged out and presented itself to the girl, in front of her breasts for easy reach, not that he cared how easy it was for her to reach but it was the most visible place and also the shortest distance from her shoulder. "You'd be kind to at least accept an apology, it seems I've gone and flustered you just by trying to provide my aid. I still teach, yes, but if you wouldn't have them learn how to break the human body how could you have them reconstruct it? Did you learn how to stand by walking? No, you learned how to stand by falling, the negative precedes the positive, and what they do with what I teach them is their business. Now you, you're completely my business..."

Kakuhan removed his hand, leaving the rose to snap off from his body and either drop or remain in her hands, he hadn't watched her long enough to find out which action she chose to take. "You're the rare find, you're the rose among the thicket, the bird in the briar, you're the rare being that won't take my lessons in word but in spirit. Eijutsu was designed to help people, but we've perverted it since then, but we can still do quite a bit to keep the world turning without bloodshed. Actually, I did come here for some corpses but I seem to have wandered into the wrong area..."

He was well aware of where he was, though he hadn't realized until he saw the tombstone, his father was buried somewhere out here, he'd taken the body with him and saved it from destruction so many years ago. It was the one corpse he could never mangle, he could never cut, he could learn more from him than a hundred others but he would not so much as draw a scalpel in this graveyard where he laid. His presence kept him passive, it reminded him where he was in relation to the village, and struck his conscious that he might be taking the bodies of other loved ones, something he rarely thought about.

You win this time father... He thought to himself, commenting on the irony of the situation of finding the exact tombstone next to his fathers all but moments ago. Kakuhan twisted his wrist, manipulating the puppet off the grave dirt atop his father and casting a glance behind him at the male child. He had no honor, so he obviously needed to be directly informed of what he wanted from him, it was only suiting. "Step foot on my father's grave and you'll lose that foot..."

Kakuhan pulled on the invisible chakra strings, pulling the puppet's limbs, with little resistance, so that it walked over to him and he made a few swift hand-signs as the puppet reverted to its original form, condensing into a small black seed which Kakuhan picked up off the ground as if it were normal. It was normal, to him at least, to them it might seem as some sort of sorcery aided by the fact that he placed the seed inside of a small rod at his waist similar to a magicians.

"Anyhow..." Kakuhan continued, pulling out another seed and casually tossing it to the ground, making a few handsigns as it fell, the seed growing out into a burst of green leafy vines which snaked about until the form of a large tiger was present. The tiger nuzzled against Kakuhan and he smiled, gesturing to Suzu. "Would you like a ride home? I can't be leaving the only pure medic, my student, with..." He glanced back the boy behind him, ",children..."

Ignoring Toya's questions, Suzu kept inching closer and closer to the entrance. She figured it'd be best to completely break free from the conversation, as it had moved from casual to seriously annoying with the addition of another male. Males, they always had a way of screwing sh*t up. You can't live with them, and you can't live without them. Her mind tried to tackle itself on other subjects other than the male species, but all her anger was thrown at that particular annoyance.

He spoke again, something about manners and such, lecturing the poor Chuunin. Suzu found that a bit ironic, seeing as the Jounin had not a shred of good will in his body. She refrained from pointing out his hypocrisy; it wouldn't do her a favour in the long run. He had power, and with power, came authority. With one simple request, he could have her dropped back to a Genin, where she would be forced to graduate the same bloody way as the others. Suzu wasn't about to let one unnecessary remark from ruining, and possibly ending, her life.

Thinking she was at least a few feet away from the two, her foot lifted to take the final step into the mist, and soon, out the confinements of the graveyard. But it seemed that she was still within arm's reach of them, as she felt a strong grip on her shoulder that almost sent her to the ground. Toya was also present, and with the Jounin having authority over her again, she was back to square one. "Then I must not be one of those women you hold in that imaginary city of yours. I have no intention of wishing you 'good bye.'"

She wasn't sure if his stunt would be categorized as fascinating or just plain disgusting. He had somehow managed to somehow summon a rose from the palm of his hand, and as it snapped from his hand, there wasn't a mark that could be found on the surface. Suzu expected some type of scar to appear, but such a thing wasn't present. She caught the rose in her own palm, expecting it to dissipate into the mist. It's probably from chakra, it'll disappear in moments.

"If breaking the human body in order to teach them how to mend it back together is your method of teaching your students, then I have to object. You obviously have no respect for the human body, but I guess you'll have to own one in order to understand it." The statement was literal; it was clear that he was indeed different from any other person and looking down at her palm, the rose stayed in tact, red as ever. She ignored his last comment, for she had nothing to counter what it seemed to be a compliment. Now, his apology seemed sincere.

She refocused her attention on Toya, as his sincere bone was more convicing than that of the other's. Though she was unable to form the right words in her head, she hoped that he was able to read her forgiving facial expression. It was rarely worn, but she figured he'd be able to see it in her eyes. She was uncomfortable with the Kakuhan's threats on Toya, and she sent him a "just-ignore-it" look, though she knew Kakuhan was completely willing to carry out every last threat.

She was forced to watch another magic trick of his, not realizing the rose had dropped from her hand to the poor soil at her feet. Vines sprouted from the ground; she could feel it shake beneath, and acting on its own, the stems rearranged themselves in the form a tiger. How that was possible, Suzu didn't bother herself with such a riddle; admiring it would suffice for now. She figured she shouldn't be amazed at the thing being able to move, but she couldn't help but to feel a bit uncomfortable at the thought of travelling by something made from something so delicate. But he seemed pretty confident in the creature's abilities, which just summoned more questions. What, can it fly?

Too interested in the transportation method, she decided to ignore his student-teacher comment. "I believe we're both children here," Suzu spoke, referring to Toya and herself, "And if you aren't willing to trust him, then you wouldn't be able to trust me either." Home sounded nice, but Suzu wasn't finished wandering. "I'm not in a mood to return back home, and it wouldn't be very nice to leave this boy here alone. You would know all about that, Mr. Manners."
