What place is this?

It was early in the morning, and the sun was just rising. The rays from the sun shined brightly into the house of Kishoku and Zetsu. Kishoku awoke as soon as the rays hit his eyes, but Zetsu remained asleep, as always. Kishoku had no desire to get up from his bed, because his room was nice and cool, while it was hot as hell outside. Even so, he had to force himself out of his bed, and get on with his day. For several minutes and sat in bed, just looking around his room. He sometimes hated his brother, because he got to do all the sleeping, and Kishoku was always walking around. He slowly got out of bed, and walked over to his pile of close on his floor. He reached down and picked something up, smelt it, made a disgusting face, and threw it back down. He did this a few more times until he found a pair of cloths that did not seem to smell as bad as the rest. He walked into his kitchen and picked up a piece of bread, ate it, and walked back to his room. He took out his ninja kit, and then slowly walked to his front door. He yawned one last time, before he went outside, and had to sealed his eyes from the bright sun.

Kishoku began to walk around the village, scoping it out, and noticing small details. He had an eye for buildings, and wanted to know the villages details. Soon after, Zetsu awoke for a few moments and turned his head towards his brothers right ear. "Kishoku, find a few Genin we can befriend. we can't do anything on our own, they won't even let the two of us leave the village by ourselves. We need to find them, and show the village what we are truly made of." He laughed a little bit and Kishoku smiled and shook his head. "Alright Zetsu, I can do that." Kishoku had heard a few rumors about a few Genin getting together and forming a group, although he had no idea what they were called or where they were located. But he knew that they would be the twins best bet at getting some missions outside of the village. "Zetsu, what are your plans when we find these Genin?" Kishoku had an idea of what he was planning, but he wanted to know what it was for sure. Zetsu soon laughed a little bit, and leaned in towards Kishoku, as close as he could. He whispered in his ear. "We are going to get stronger, using them." He could not help but smile, and Kishoku did the same. They both had the same goal. "And once we leave the village, we'll get even stronger." Kishoku was now really pumped up and ready to find these Genin.

Afterwards Zetsu fell back asleep, and left Kishoku by himself to do the searching. He had asked a few people if they had any idea of a new group of Genin. He got a few rough ideas of where they really were. He had searched some older buildings around the village, but he had no luck finding them. He soon sat down on a nearby bench, put his head in his hands, and sighed. He really did not have any luck finding them, whatsoever. He looked up, and noticed a person, about his age, walking into a building. He did not think anyone had used that building for some time, but it seemed he had been dead wrong. He knew that this would likely be the place he was searching for. He smiled and tapped the back of Zetsu's head to wake him up. "I think we've found the place." Zetsu grumbled, and turned his head to look. "Then what are you waiting for?" Kishoku smiled and walked towards the building, looking at this one even closer than before. He thought he might spend a lot of time in this building, so it was better to know what it was good for, and what could be done with it. He soon pulled out a piece of candy from his pocket and stuck it in his mouth.

Kishoku slowly opened the door, and peaked his head inside. He did not see nor feel any danger, so he proceeded inside. He looked around, not noticing much of anything, and this was probably due to the fact that the building was newly used. He began to look around the building for the person he saw coming in the first place, but had no luck finding him. Zetsu got fed up with looking about five minutes into the searched and finally caved in. "HEY! Is there anyone in this dump!?" He yelled out, almost as loud as he could, his voice echoed in the building. Kishoku sighed, because Zetsu had ruined their element of surprise, but it did not worry him too much. The two of them, could take on anyone that came at them. But because Kishoku was a little cautious, he pulled out a kunai from his ninja kit, and placed it in his sleeve. The two looked around the building and awaited for anyone to come at them. They had no idea if there was still anyone in the building, and in a few minutes, Zetsu would either fall asleep, or get upset and demand that they leave. Kishoku hoped that neither would occur. "We just want to speak with you." Kishoku finally said, in the nicest voice he could muster.

A few moments after Zetsu had yelled, the two twins began to hear things happening from a few rooms down. It sounded as if something was scattering around, and the two assumed there was at least one person getting ready to attack. The two stood their grounded, and kept a watchful eye out. They always assumed the worst, so as soon as the door opened, Zetsu jumped out of Kishoku's body and was ready for action. Zetsu ran towards the woman, but was quickly stopped by Kishoku. Kishoku saw that she meant the two no harm, as she did not seem battle ready. Her clothing was certainly not something to be easily moved around in. "Zetsu, take a look at your target once in a while. She doesn't look like she wants to fight." Kishoku looked over her very closely, tapping his chin the entire time he did so. Zetsu sighed and looked at his brother with displeasure. He just wanted to get out and feel the pleasure of a weapon going through someones skin. He licked his lips and walked back towards his brother. Zetsu rejoined with Kishoku at the back of his neck. "I apologize for my brother. He is a little bit crazy sometimes, and always on his toes. He sometimes forgets we are still in the leaf village." Kishoku put on a smile and put his hand out for Ayame to shake it.

He stepped away from the girl, so he would not make her feel anymore uncomfortable. She looked a lot younger than he did, but that was probably only because he looked a lot older than he really was. He focused his attention to Zetsu for a moments and was trying to give him a annoyed look. Zetsu, we can't be going at random people like that, you'll blow our cover. I know, but you know how I feel about them! They all need to feel it! Yea I know, Zetsu, just stay calm, and it will all be worth it soon. Kishoku turned back to Ayame and smiled again. "Well, as I've said before, this is my brother, Zetsu. And you can go ahead and call me Kishoku." The woman seemed like she had welcoming people into this quarters for some time. Kishoku assumed that this probably meant there were a few members already in the building. He looked around, and his smiled continued. He looked back at Ayame once more and got a little closer. "Gurentai Headquarters, you say? I think I've heard of you guys, I'm not sure what I believe, but it seems you guys have a nice little home here." Kishoku began to walk around the building, looking it over once more. "And judging by your age, I'd say this group is for younger children, or perhaps Genin?" He wasn't sure if the girl was a ninja, and he did not want to assume that she was, or was not.

"Myself, and my brother here, are Genin. We have been looking for a few friends to train with, or even just to talk with. Since our parents died, we really haven't been around many people, and we thought that it would be great to have a few friends to be around." Zetsu seemed to disagree with his brother the entire time, and just happened to fall asleep because he was tried of hearing it. "My brother is very shy, and isn't use to this kind of thing. But I'm hoping these friends I am searching for will brush off on him, and he'll be a much happier person." Kishoku walked back over to Ayame, and took her hand and kissed it. "It is a pleasure to meet such a beautiful woman, might I add." Kishoku was a very charming man, and most women would fall under his charm as soon as he began talking with them. He had practiced many years, trying to get ladies to fall for him, and he had got it down some time ago. He slowly let go of Ayame's hand, and looked passed her, down the hall. He had wounder if there were other people in the building, or if it was just Ayame. He had hoped to meet other Genin here, and if not, Ayame probably knew many of them.

"Ayame, I do have a question though. You said there is almost someone always here. Do you mean, you or are there other people around here?" He awoke Zetsu, so that he too could hear what she had to say. "Because if there are others here, at the moment, I would love to meet them. And it would be an honor if you could bring me to them." Kishoku then bowed, and moved backwards, so that he could give her more room. He was trying his hardest to be as nice to her as he could. He did not want to come on too hard either, and he was worried that the kiss on the hand might have been too much.

It had seemed that Zetsu had shocked her more than he had originally thought. He would deal with Zetsu at a later time. He understand how he felt, and Kishoku himself felt the same way about many of the other shinobi in the village, but he could tell this one was different. She had treated them with much kindness, even after Zetsu had threatened her. Even though he did not have no real desire to be with this woman, he felt that she could really be one of his friends. Realizing this, made him feel a little odd. Kishoku really had not had this kind of feeling before, but he knew that he did enjoy it. A real smile soon covered his face, but soon left when he heard the uneasiness in the woman's voice. They probably came on a little strong at first, and most of the time, the two did. He knew that he would have to back off, if he wanted to get anywhere with the plans the two had. At this point he was rather disappointed that he awoke Zetsu, and hoped that he would soon fall back asleep. Otherwise, the two would likely get in a fight, for real this time. He put his hands in his pocket, to show Ayame that he had lowered his guard and had no intentions of attacking.

Soon, Ayame spoke, and the two twins listened. Zetsu was about to open his mouth, but Kishoku quickly interrupted his brother. Kishoku did not want Zetsu to do more damage than he had already done. Kishoku hoped his brother was getting the hints. "You say helping around Konoha? I think I like the sound of that. It will give us both a chance to meet some many new people." Kishoku put a smile back on his face, because he knew this really sounded like the real deal. This could be their chance to really get known in the village, and people will speak of them for years to come, they just knew it. "I think I would like getting the chance helping the village out, I'm liking the sound of this group already." He hoped he was saying what Ayame wanted to hear, but he was not sure. He knew that most people would welcome new members, but these two were their own case altogether. For the majority of their life, they seemed to be loners, left out on their own. He really wanted to join this group, and he hoped his brother felt the same way. He knew he would because getting close to people like this, would help them in their cause.

He was soon asked if he wanted to join the group, and he thought it over for a few seconds, weighting the pros and cons. He wasn't really sure that his brother could last in the group for a long time, but he knew this was the fastest way to get close to the village. "Well, as long as my brother is alright with it, I'm sure he is. We go everywhere together you see. We are almost never apart, since our birth, we've been like this." He paused for a moment, and realized he had made a mistake in his speech. "Well, not entire like this. We are part of a clan, with a rare bloodline, and a clan that is dying out. Each member is born with a twin, and Zetsu here is mine. He can fuse with my body, because of our bloodline. But, he can also come out whenever he likes, or needs to." He wondered if he was going on too much, but he knew that many people wondered about the two of them, because they would often stare. He had explained everything he wanted to though, and know his mind was still on the question of joining the group.

He looked back at Zetsu and he finally nodded. "Well, I really don't see the problem in joining up with other Genin to help the village and get stronger." Zetsu was lying a little bit, but he had gotten so good at it, many people hardly noticed. Zetsu did not really want any part in the group, and Kishoku felt the same way, but it was all part of their act. "Well, Ayame, I think that settles everything then, we are both willing to join the group." Kishoku smiled at Ayame, and looked at the door out of the building. "I'm not sure if there is any special thing to join the group, but why don't we take a stroll outside, maybe we can find other members? And if not, I can always treat you to something to eat, for being so kind to the two of us." Kishoku slowly walked over to the door and awaited for Ayame to see if she followed. If she followed behind him, he would open the door for her, and if not, he would just stand there and look like an idiot.

Kishoku was happy that her mood had changed once he told her that he was interested in joining. It had showed him that he had not come on too much, or at the very least she did not really think he did. He was glad that he would likely make a friend. He wanted to gain the trust of people, so he knew that his plan was working, but he did not mind having a few real friends, as well. He thought Ayame could have been one, but he would have to change a few things about her, before he could really trust her. He did not really mind the way she was now, but he wasn't sure if he got into trouble, she would have his back. But he realized that it was too early to judge that sort of thing, right now he would worry about getting to know her, as the rest of her gang. After that, he hoped that he and his brother could become part of that gang. His focus was her though, she would decided if he got in or not, so he knew that he had to be on his best behavior. And hopefully his brother would stay asleep for the entire day, or things could turn for the worst.

A leader, she said? Well, Kishoku did not much care for a leader, and an Uchiha at that. Although if he meet the guy, it could be a good chance to get something that he wished he was born with. For a long time, he knew the Uchiha name, they seemed to be the pride of the village of Konoha. He heard almost nothing bad about them, and thus, he hated most of them. He felt that they were given a grand power, without having to do anything for it. While he knew that he had a bloodline himself, it seemed to him that sometimes it caused him trouble. People did not randomly drool over a two headed man, but Kishoku guess that it had something to do with the red in their eyes, and the power they had. He wanted to show the village that he was strong to, and he thought a good place to start was by helping the village. But, after thinking it over, he thought it might have been better to just fight and win against an Uchiha. His problem was getting close to one, but now since that he was probably going to join this group, that was no problem at all. He smiled, and knew that things were going to get a lot easier from here on out.

"Midara Uchiha, you say? I've never heard of him before." Kishoku went over the name in his head a few times, and rubbed his head while he thought. "That name doesn't sound right to me. Midara, is just odd, you know? It sounds like something I've heard before, but I can't remember." Kishoku sighed and shrugged his shoulders because he could not remember what he was talking about. Also, it kind of sounded like he was already bashing the leaders good name, so he thought stopping there was good. "I bet he is a nice guy." He added in, so he could cover up what he said before, although he did not mean it, because he really, really hated the Uchiha name. Although he did not care for the guys life, he wanted to know more about him, so he could beat him once he was given the chance. He was getting a head of himself. He had to stay focused on one thing, and it was Ayame, his mind kept running about, and he had to keep it on the girl standing in front of him. He wonder what she had in her blood. She was already part of a group, and with an Uchiha at that. He assumed that a group with an Uchiha leader would only allow people of power in their group. He thought he might as her, but that might come off rude, so if she wanted to tell Kishoku, he would listen.

Soon, Ayame left the room, leaving Kishoku and his brother by themselves. Things were all going great, and Kishoku wanted to let Zetsu know, but he shook his head and forgot about it. He could tell him once the day was over. Kishoku sat down on a chair that he had been standing near, while he awaited Ayame to change. He looked around the building some more, but he had not seen anything new. It was a rather dull building now, because he saw everything he wanted to see. After a few minutes, Ayame returned in what looked like an Anbu uniform. When she said that was their uniform, he made a questionable look. He wasn't sure he wanted to wear something like that, because he thought it to be illegal. It was almost as they were acting like the Anbu. They group may be strong, but they were all Genin for a reason, certainly not on Anbu level. He couldn't bring himself to say anything because for one, he did not want to bring their spirit down, and two, he could have been dead wrong. "Other items? Oh, well doesn't that sound like a good deal." He smiled and then walked out the door after Ayame.

The two walked into the village streets together. Kishoku looked around for a fancy place he could take Ayame to eat, so he could seem more than just a ninja. He kind of wished he could start the day over, and have picked more formal clothing, or at least something that smelled a little nicer than what he was already wearing. Not that it smelled bad, but it surely wasn't the best smell in the world. Kishoku than found a diner that looked like the perfect place to eat. "I hope you are hungry, because I do love this place." He really had never been to the place before, but he wanted to make himself seem somewhat important. He then opened the door into the building for Ayame, and followed her to be seated. He then pulled her chair out for her, and allowed her to sit down. He sat down and then looked at Ayame and smiled. "Don't worry about paying for anything, I have you covered today." He smiled, and knew that he could afford anything for the two of them. His brother did help him out with on thing, and that was getting money. Each mission they did, it was like getting paid double, and the cost of living and eating was almost like living alone.

Kishoku was glad that she had an empty stomach, or at the very least she could eat. He had no place in mind of where he wanted to take her but he knew it had to be fancy. He was glad to get out in the village, even though he did want to try her ramen as well, but it could wait for another time. Ayame knew a lot of genin in the village, or at leas Kishoku assumed she did. This would make him look a lot better within the village, being with someone people know. This made him feel good inside, but for the wrong reasons. He didn't want to take part in this village any longer, but he knew that getting out would be one of the hardest things to do in his life, he had to wait for the right moment. "I would be more than happy to try your ramen and tea sometime, I bet you are a great cook." He smiled at her, and soon spotted a fancy looking place. "I think I've found the place, but I am looking forward to trying some of your cooking." He honestly did not know if had the time, but he was trying to be a nice guy, and he did not want to hurt her feelings. The two walked into the restaurant, and everything caught Kishoku's eyes. He couldn't take his eyes off things. The building was one of the most beautiful things he has seen, but he didn't say anything and stopped himself from looking around. A man at the door looked at the two and questioned them on how many seats they needed. Ayame did not answer and it was probably because Kishoku's brother was on his back. "Hehe, two please."

Soon a woman came over to their table and gave them menus. Kishoku rubbed his temples and sighed behind the menu. He had the money to pay for it, but It would cost him all the money he had in his pocket. He was a little disappointed in how nice he was being, but he couldn't stop the act now, or things wouldn't go well. He tried to find the cheapest on the list of food items but at this point it did not really matter. He noticed they place had a lot of seafood, which was rather rare, and they must have gotten most of their food from imports. He hadn't eaten seafood in a while, and it would be a nice change of pace for him. He had eaten a lot of food that he cooked, and most of that was very cheap food items. "No, Ayame, I can pay for us.. I make enough money. It's all good. You don't have to worry about it." He said looking at her behind his menu. The waitress came back to take drink orders, and food orders, if they were both ready. "I think I'll have a glass of water, and this crab here." Kishoku showed the woman the menu and pointed to the name of the item he wanted. "Are you ready to order, Ayame?" As soon as the two ordered, the woman took both menu's and brought them their drinks.

Before the waitress could bring them their food, Kishoku noticed another woman walk in the door, and she was about his age. One glance at her, and Kishoku could tell her life was almost at the breaking point. He could tell that she was a ninja, by the headband she wore, but there was one thing he did not like about her. She was pregnant and their was no man around to help her. He didn't much care, but he thought Ayame might, so he thought it might be time for a test. He tapped Ayame on the hand and pointed to the woman who seemed to waiting for someone. He got closer to Ayame so she could hear him whisper. "The man she is waiting for, isn't coming for her. He would already be here if he was going to meet her here. He ran off somewhere, and left her to fend for herself." He shook his head to try and show that he cared a little bit. "She's a ninja too, notice the headband, and her life is pretty much ruined by one night." He looked the other way and noticed that their food had arrived, but he still wanted to see how Ayame would react to this woman.

"One night of so called love is all it takes. She has to carry that baby there for nine months, and you know how long that is without training? That is enough to make a Jounin weak. And on top of that, she will no longer be a ninja, and she has to pay for the child someway. Meaning she'll be forced to a job she doesn't want to do, maybe even two. You can add that up to about ten years without training, and that is a long time. Her dream of becoming a ninja is forever ruined. And where is the father? Living his dream, and doing what he wishes. He doesn't have to pay a cent for that child. It would be different if he had stayed, and he said he would have, you can tell because she is so far into the pregnancy and she is still waiting for him." Kishoku took a bite out of his food and looked at Ayame's face to see what she was feeling. "He said he loved her, and then everything changed. He was going to stay with her, but then he thought and thought about it, and he got scared. It would have been best to just break things off from the moment she knew. I hope the best for that woman, I really do." He then took a bite of his food and chewed very quietly. He looked into Ayame's eyes to see if she was feeling any kind of pain for the woman. It was likely she was because she too was a woman, and the same thing could happen to her.

Kishoku's plan was a success. Ayame had felt awful for the woman when he had first made mention to her. He was happy with the way she did act, it showed she cared, and that she was very unlike Kishoku. If he could get her to trust him, he knew that his act he was putting on would really be working. So far he felt that what he was doing amazing, Ayame seemed to at least trust Kishoku, a little bit. If he could get her to really think he was a good person, than he would likely be able to get anyone to trust him. He was really happy with himself, He would let Zetsu know how well their plan was working. He couldn't help but smile as Ayame left her seat and went to the bathroom. He laugh a little bit, but made sure he didn't get out of hand, so they people around him did not hear him. He began to eat his food again, he was in really in a good mood now, more than he had ever been since he became a ninja. Soon Ayame came back and he stood up in his chair, to show that he respected her. "I understand, I've had that feeling before." He never really had, but he wanted to show her they had something in common.

"I would hate to be in the guys shoes too, I couldn't stand knowing that my child's life would be in hands of someone so young." He really did not care, but she did, and he was still putting on the act. "She must feel very alone, and afraid. She has lost it all, her life will never be the same. That man really needs to die." The last part Kishoku said he really felt. However, it was only because he didn't mind going after people. The man was scum and he wanted Ayame to know that. "The guy is nothing anymore. He'll avoid her at all cost. Like I said, she should have never been with a guy like that. I hope it doesn't happen to you." He was done with the matter now, he said what he wanted to say and he was back to eating. He had a good day with Ayame, and his act was working for him. It was time to call it a day, however, he did not want to waste his food.

After a few more minutes the two of them finished their food. "Well, it was great meeting you and I look forward to meeting you again." He smiled at her and waited for the waitress to take his money. He then lead Ayame outside of the building, opening the door for her once more. He then bowed at her to show his respect. "I'm happy we met, but I must be going. I have many things to take care of before the day is over. We will meet again, because I will be around the headquarters often. " He soon turned away from Ayame and waved goodbye. He waws very happy with what happened today. He soon awoke Zetsu and laughed. "We've done it, our act is perfect. No one thinks a thing of us, our plan will soon come." Zetsu laughed a little bit, and was very happy with his brother. "They'll pay, all of them." The two made their way home, with smiles on their faces. Things were going there way, and they knew it. "Now, we just have to met the rest of these Genin."
