| Denaya woke up early in the morning with the plans to go to the training grounds to master perception and evasion. She rose out of bed and put on her usual outfit. She started with her bra and then put her socks on. She didn't usually wear panties, especially when she was training. She slid her White dress on, and then followed suit with her black one. She slid her boots up to her knees and tied them. She went into the bathroom to brush her teeth and her hair, and put her headband in her hair. She went back into her room and put her collar on and threw on her cloak with her clan symbol on it. She was hoping to one day get her clan symbol sewn onto other her headband, her collar, or the back of her black dress. She walked into the kitchen and cooked breakfast. She was going to have Bacon and Eggs with some milk for breakfast to keep her fed through her training. When she was done eating, she washed her dishes and packed a lunch.
Denaya approached the training grounds and took a deep breath and exhaled. She was going to try a breathing exercise before training. She Sat up straight in an armless chair to perform the Chinese breathing technique. You may do the short, shallow breathing designed to open the body and mind to the harmony of the universe while you're standing, but make sure that you are in good health first. Take in three short breaths before you exhale. On the first short breath, raise your arms straight out in front of you at shoulder height. While you take the second quick inhalation, spread your arms to the sides, keeping them at the same level. On the third breath, lift your arms straight up over your head. Move your arms down to your sides straight, with your fingers facing the floor, as you exhale through your open mouth. Repeat the entire process 10 to 12 times. Center your mind and body and align your life force energy, or Chi, with another simple Chinese breathing technique. Easy, sustained focused breathing is an integral part of overall well-being. Sit or stand erect with your chin slightly forward and your eyes facing straight ahead. Close your eyes and concentrate on your breath. Draw in your breath through your nose and fill your diaphragm. Bring your hands up in front of your body and press them together in a prayer position under your chin as you hold the breath for a few seconds. Release the breath through your mouth as you push your hands away from your body and toward the ground. She opened her eyes and repeated the breathing technique 10 times. Today she needed to train her perception and her evasion. Two very important things she needed to be a successful ninja. She walked into the middle of the field and figured she would focus her body, breathing, heart, and mind for this training. As she did her breathing exercises she would throw kicks and punches to the air. She kept her eyes closed and began to think about what perception meant as a whole, 'Perception is the process of attaining awareness or understanding of the environment by organizing and interpreting sensory information. All perception involves signals in the nervous system, which in turn result from physical stimulation of the sense organs. For example, vision involves light striking the retinas of the eyes, smell is mediated by odor molecules and hearing involves pressure waves. Perception is not the passive receipt of these signals, but can be shaped by learning, memory and expectation. Perception involves these "top-down" effects as well as the "bottom-up" process of processing sensory input. Perception depends on complex functions of the nervous system, but subjectively seems mostly effortless because this processing happens outside conscious awareness. Since the rise of experimental psychology, psychology's understanding of perception has progressed by combining a variety of techniques. Psychophysics measures the effect on perception of varying the physical qualities of the input. Sensory neuroscience studies the brain mechanisms underlying perception. Perceptual systems can also be studied computationally, in terms of the information they process. Perceptual issues in philosophy include the extent to which sensory qualities such as sounds, smells or colors exist in objective reality rather than the mind of the perceiver. Although the senses were traditionally viewed as passive receptors, the study of illusions and ambiguous images has demonstrated that the brain's perceptual systems actively and pre-consciously attempt to make sense of their input. There is still active debate about the extent to which perception is an active process of hypothesis testing, analogous to science, or whether realistic sensory information is rich enough to make this process unnecessary. The perceptual systems of the brain enable individuals to see the world around them as stable, even though the sensory information may be incomplete and rapidly varying. Human and animal brains are structured in a modular way, with different areas processing different kinds of sensory information. Some of these modules take the form of sensory maps, mapping some aspect of the world across part of the brain's surface. These different modules are interconnected and influence each other. For instance, the taste is strongly influenced by its odor.'
Denaya then began to think about what Perception and Evasion meant to her, 'Perception is how well you can see things when they happen, how well you can predict movements, and see through lies. Evasion means to be able to dodge attacks, looks, and comments. It's moving away from conflicting people.' Her definition was much shorter than the real definition, but what it mean to her was all that mattered. She got hungry and decided to eat her lunch. It was a peanut butter and jelly sandwich with an ice cold soda. She ate her sandwich and drank her soda and then stood up. She was ready to train and figured she would begin by conjuring a water clone. She conjured a Water Clone, and made it stand opposite her. She told it to attack her slowly and she would watch it's movement patterns and dodge appropriately. After a while of the slow paced training, She told her clone to speed it up a little bit. The clone began swinging faster and she watched it's movements as if her eyes were glued to it's watery body. She dodged each attack with slight difficulty and began dodging them like they were nothing. She told the clone to speed up. It went as fast as it could, And she dodged it with ease. She finally mastered her perception and evasion training and destroyed her clone. She left the field and walked back home.
Denaya got back home and walked into the house. She threw her cloak on the chair and took her boots and socks off. She plopped down on her couch, 'Wow, that was a long day. It was very vigorous and tiresome.' She walked into her kitchen and made some dinner. She had steak and soda and for dinner. She quickly ate her dinner and then sat down to relax. She rubbed her own feet since no one else was there to do so. She quietly went to bed, and passed out. She slept soundly through the night, having dreams of the days training.
