Araragi was finally done with his training, so now he decided to go the Hot Springs later that night, when there wouldn't be a lot of people, so that he could relax in peace. He walked out of his house, and he felt the small bead of sweat travel from his brow to the tip of his nose, and just linger their. That was once of the worst feelings ever, and his hand quickly found his nose to wipe the bead away. Soon, he was nearing the hot springs, after a bit of walking, the night air cooling his body off quite a bit. The breeze felt extremely nice to his sweat filled face. As he made his way to the entrance of the Hot Springs, he walked in, delighted to see that some of the baths were completely empty. The all male bath was nearly full, and the all female one, well he didn't peek because he wasn't that type of guy, so it could have been completely empty for all he cared.

So, he picked up his towel, and quickly changed in the changing area before heading out towards the mixed bathing are, so that he could relax and have a nice time. His muscles ached, even though he didn't do any physical work, as chakra training was very taxing on his body. Still, he felt that it was definitely worth it, as he practiced some of his own special one handed hand signs. He slowly crept into the hot water, sighing in a bit of pain as his cold feet hit the hot water. Soon, he eased himself into the water, then laid back with his hands on the edges of the area into the springs, and they were very cold, because the wet ground was very cold.

Akuma was daydreaming about his new life as a ninja. He had just graduated from the academy around a week ago, but wasn't assigned to any missions or a team yet, but he was okay with that for the moment. He wanted to get some new genin friends before he thought about that. He was daydreaming about himself as a great ninja, battling a few of the greatest ninjas of all time. A dream which he found a bit too much, but he liked dreaming big. Currently he was thinking of himself using the Great Forest Emergence technique, which was one of the most powerful of his clan, when suddenly he felt the water move, and heard someone else in the hot springs with him. He opened his eyes, to see a woman had joined the mixed gender bath. Akuma wasn't a pervert, so he kept his eyes straight ahead, and then sort of looked towards her face. She was pretty, and she was older than Akuma himself, she was probably a genin herself, and Akuma suddenly got a new idea.

She must know a lot more than Akuma did, and he was thinking of asking her a few things, but first he needed to get her attention. Well, she had just joined his lonely bath, so he decided to offer a simple greeting. "Hello." Akuma simply said to her. He had a pretty soft voice, but no one would mistake it for a female's voice. He wondered what she would do, this would tell him if she was nice, or fairly mean, considering she could just tell him to be quiet.

Araragi sort of flailed his arms a bit in confusion when the women suddenly burst out and yelled at him for being in the women's side. Akuma looked around and the sign said the mixed, so he was utterly confused, but the girl calmed down a bit before she started talking again. She apologized and said she accidentally stepped into the wrong side. Well, this was a bit of a wrong doing, but Aararagi wasn't offended at all, and he shook his head. "You don't need to apologize, it's understandable." Araragi said, chuckling lightly because of the awkwardness of the situation. Araragi was a bit red himself, because such a strange situation caused for it, and Araragi sub consciously related to her, so his cheeks became a bit reddened, as he made sure to look into her eyes, to show respect. He wasn't a perverted fellow, and he wanted to make sure the girl was comfortable here, or she could leave, and Araragi would shut his eyes as she got out, if that was a problem.

She then asked for Araragi's name. Her name was Ayame, a pretty name too. Well, nothing could come of him just clamming up towards her, to he sort of coughed, and his cheeks became normal, and he then looked towards her. "I am Senju Araragi, a genin." Araragi was trying to be as respectful and formal as possible, because that was the opposite other people would do in a hot tub with a cute girl that had no clothing on. Araragi didn't like perverts at all, and he didn't want to become one. So, it was about time to strike up a conversation, now that they both knew each others names. "So Ayame, what brings you to the hot springs?" a simple question that would probably get a simple answer, but it was a start.

This girl seemed alright, even if a little bit jumpy it seemed, but then again, perhaps it was a mistake to judge someone who has had more experience as a ninja then him. The ninja world as far as he knew outside the Konoha walls was not a nice place at all. He made sure he was respectful at all times, considering he really didn't like making others feel uncomfortable around him, and it was worse if it was his fault. It was only his intention to relax and perhaps make a new friend in the village. All of the other academy students he had graduated with were off doing things, while Araragi patiently waited for something to happen. He wasn't actively looking for a team, perhaps he should be, but regardless, that thought was tucked away in the back of his mind for now. The girl stated that she was close to becoming a Konin. Well, it was basically the same as a genin in the eyes of the civilians who didn't know how the ninja world worked, but this would mean that she was far more experienced than Araragi, and she could probably outclass him. Well, this is what he wanted to talk to a higher ranking ninja of the village, or at the very least someone who had much more experience than he did.

"Wow, that's great, I like talking to other ninjas who are more experienced than me."

Araragi then gave her a light smile, tilting his head a bit to the right, it was sort of a strange mannerism for him. Araragi noticed that she was still covering up her body, but the slight movement drew his attention for a small fraction of a second before he pulled them up. One could argue that his slight ninja training from his father taught him to notice little things, which he did, but he didn't really analyze it as anything more than her moving her legs. She apologized once again about the outburst, and told him not to get any ideas.

"I have plenty of ideas, just none of them are perverted. You seem fun, so friendship and perhaps a mission or two were things that came to mind."

Araragi made sure to keep eye contact, as he was taught that this was a very respectful way to talk to anyone, especially women, so they know that you aren't after anything lecherous, just friendship or business. Araragi shifted his body a bit, so that he was leaning back on the side of the spring, so he was more comfortable. He had sat up when the young woman yelled at him the first time, and he just now realized he wasn't very comfortable in that position anymore, especially in the warm water. He leaned back, causing his upper chest to dip into the warm water, and he let out a content sigh, as it felt so nice. The young woman then said that she was feeling a bit sick, so she came to the hot springs to heal a bit, and then she asked him why he came.

"Well first of all, I'm sorry you feel ill. Second, I came here just to relax after training. I had a few meditations and training to increase my chakra capacity, plus some of my clan jutsu training."

Araragi really liked when he trained with his father, learning about the history of the Senju clan, how they were tied to the Uchiha. He also loved learning Wood jutsu from his father, and about how they could control and shape the Yin energy in our bodies, which is how they gave the wood life in the first place. This fascination with his clan was what drove him to learn ninjutsu, increase his chakra, and learn one handed hand seals. He didn't know what else to talk about, but he planned on asking about missions, or a team.

"So Ayame, are you on a team?"

Araragi sat there and listened as Ayame started speaking. She said she was sort of on a team, and Araragi got a confused look on his face, because he didn't really know what "sorta" meant in this sort of context. It seemed she was in a genin organization, called Gurentai, that helped her to get stronger. Only a few weeks out of the academy, and she was already a Konin, this group was very good. She then said that she eventually wanted to be Hokage one day. One of the common dreams among ninja of the village, until they reach jounin, then it seemed that they simply wanted to stay alive to see their families at the end of their day. The ninja world liked to strip people of their dreams quite often, and even quicker for someone like Ayame, who was progressing too fast, but Araragi wished her the best of luck.

Her face then took on a curious smile, which made Akuma a bit uncomfortable. What was she going to do? Was she a pervert herself? Akuma started to simply have ideas burst into his head about this girl, maybe she was stranger than she initially let on, but they were dispelled once she simply asked if he would like to join. Araragi wasn't really the one to join large groups, he would rather have one personal friend to do everything with, but with her in Gurentai, this wouldn't happen. Regardless, he didn't want to just say no to this girl and hurt her feelings possibly, so he thought about it for a bit. "Well, I'm not one for groups, but I'll help out if I can, I just don't think joining is for me." Akuma tried to explain it the best and smartest way he could. He was smart, being tutored by his mother in english and other arithmetic, but he considered himself far from street smart or well educated, he just knew some stuff.
