So, I looked everywhere but i cant find out the answer to this. I want to have a thread outside of Konoha but still in the land of fire. A smaller village in it perhaps. How do I go about doing that? Do I still have to make a travel thread? and if so... what exactly is this?

I believe all you have to do to make this happen is simply create a topic within the Village Gates stating that you are leaving the village for whatever reason and that you've been given the okay by the guards. After that, you can simply create a topic within the Fire Country about the village you are visiting, no traveling is required since it is in the same country. To return to the village, just post your return in the same topic that you posted your departure. Hope I've helped.
