Madrox Takahashi vs Blaize Ryuzaki

It was simply excellent to have such glorious weather on the first day of the Moon Country's Tournament. A stunning sun that perched itself high above the sky and released pleasant light through the clouds that drifted leisurely with the summer wind. The sheer energy of the people chanting outside the stadium gave birth to the sound of trumpets that echoed across the entire stadium, signaling the great doors to open and release of flood of viewers into the stands. People from various countries, villages, and of course Moon Country flowed from the entrance in a near endless quantity, all sharing the same desire to witness the spectacular event that was about to take place. Within minutes the stadium was fully occupied with cheering spectators and with another segment of a trumpet resonance the entrance doors closed in a final slam. Members of the tournament's faculty began materializing inside the arena grounds, the proctor himself wearing a black suited attire and a full medical unit wearing their white coated uniform. On the highest tier of the stadium a great bang was heard, and instantly silence was summoned inside the stadium. Lord Yoshiyuki, Moon Countries divine authority and political leader had made entrance into the stadium. His long flowing blue and golden robe and pure diamond accessories stood testament to his high status within the nation he held within his entire hands. His skin was glowing with the steady excitement brewing within his flesh, and his long red hair flowing like the fiery satin that it could easily replicate. Beside him were two robust and stern bodyguards that not only emitted an energy of authority but also had a posture of humbleness and care for their leader. Upon him seeing the faces of his beloved citizens and visitors, Lord Yoshiyuki was glad that he adopted the festivities of the Summer Festival within his own home and welcomed the ninja of Konohgakure and even other nations to participate in his tournament that would rattle the ninja world and will strengthen the alliance between Konoha and Moon Country.

He looked down at the giant arena located within the heart of the stadium and viewed it's contents in pure vanity of his landscaping talent. It was fifty meters in diameter with ten meter stone walls around it's perimeter. The terrain was mostly composed of low cut grass although there were other instruments placed to enhance the setting. Eight large 15ft pillars were located in a octagonal formation around the arena's edges in the grass terrain, each holding a large bowl of burning wood at it's top providing a source of fire. Around the perimeter of the arena was a ring of fresh water that divided the grassy landmass and the walls by a few meters except for the small area where the contestants walk though. Being at a near endless depth, it can provide the competitors with a source of water if they're near the edges of the ring. Overall the stadium was neat, simple, and decorative and would surely be enough to supply the fighters with the tools necessary to display their talents.

Lord Yoshiyuki made his way toward the edge of his balcony, letting his natural luminescence filter through the stadium. His bodyguards mimicked his actions like a pair of drones, standing a few feet at each side of him. By pumping chakra into this throat it allowed him to project his voice loud enough to be heard throughout the entire stadium with clarity. "The second match of the first round begins now!" He announced which exhilarated the crowd. While the crowd stridently applauded to his words he waited for them to calm down before continuing. "This match's competitors will be Madrox of the Takahashi Clan and Blaize of the Ryuzaki Clan!" The crowd applauded at in a light frequency which will last until both competitors meet within the field. Lord Yoshiyuki sat down on his giant golden chair and peered at the field with crossed legs. The medical unit disbanded into the stands and the proctor flickered himself in the center of the field where the two competitors will meet. The bell rang and the doors opened on each side of the field. Asoni entered from the south, and Madrox from the north, and they approached each other until they were five meters apart in the center. With a quick "Begin!" from the proctor, he instantly flickered out of the arena, and the match had begun.

-This exam is on a three day post requirement, if you fail to post in three days after your opponent you are automatically disqualified.
-You are the only two who are permitted to post here.
-This exam does not have a competition date, as I said, it's a three day post requirement so we expect it done quickly, if it continues due to continuous dodging, I'll proctor it like I'm supposed to and come to a conclusion.
-If you exit the ground floor you will be disqualified, by no means should you harm the audience, you can however use the wall as a weapon or a surface to run on.
-Be elaborate with your jutsu, explain it. Don't confuse your opponent, all jutsu are required to be attached at the bottom of a thread via a quote or a spoiler, it is not to be messy.
-All standard roleplaying rules apply.
-This is the first time you have heard of your opponent, unless you have met them in character before.
-If you are in a death situation and you obviously don't wish to be killed, you can RP a medic coming to your rescue although that will automatically get you disqualified.

Madrox sat in the training room as he awaited the first two matches to end. He ran himself through his normal Capoeira training against a few training dummies. He practiced this to keep his body fluid and loose. If he tensed up during any part of his Taijutsu fighting in the arena, it could cost him victory. He heard the crowds roar as each participant entered the arena. It made him smirk a usual toothy grin. Crowds roaring, girls swooning, all this attention must be amazing. But he wasn't going to let that go to his head. He needed a clear mind to fight and to win. As the first match ended, someone ran in and called for the next participants. Madrox left the training area at this point and walked over to the cafeteria. He ordered up ramen and water. Normally he would have saki, but again, he needed a clear mind for the fight. As he eat his ramen and sipped on his water, he thought up battle strategies for various types of opponents. If he fought a ranged person, he would rush them and pummel them into the ground. If he fought a close range fighter, and they were stronger than he, he would retreat and fight from afar. He would just have to adjust his battle strategy accordingly to his opponent as was expected. As the second match came close to ending, a man ran up, "Madrox Takahashi, Your match is starting soon. Get prepared."

Madrox walked over to the gate he was assigned too. He watched the end of the match trying to look across the field to see his opponent. He could see a man standing behind them. He wondered if that was his opponent. He watched him with curiosity behind the large gates. He was talking to other people and Madrox wondered why. Since he entered this arena he has kept to himself and worried about nothing but training, and working up a strategy to defeat his opponent. He wasn't sure what the prize was, but he knew he wanted it. He steadied his breath and his heart rate. The two in the arena finished their match and then he heard the the crowd roar. Why did so many people get such a thrill out of two people beating each other senseless? It didn't make sense to him. Then he heard his and his opponent's names being called. Blaize Ryuzaki. What was the Ryuzaki clan all about? What was this man all about? Then the gates opened and they walked out, the crowd roared and Madrox just ignored them keeping his eyes on his opponent. He activated his Doujutsu and read the man's life-force. He was powerful, and Madrox hoped he could bring him down. They walked to the middle of the arena and before his opponent could notice his eyes, he deactivated his Doujutsu. He came close to the center and eyed his opponent. The man shouted begin, and disappeared, and then Madrox ran to the edge of the arena.

“Gloves?” The gloves on his hands were tightening when he spoke of the word. The hand that the glove was on closed as the words. “Check” spoken out from the person’s mouth. “Surprise kunai” The next word was spoken as the person grabbed his jacket and place it over himself covering his arms that was exposed from the t-shirt he was wearing underneath. “Check” The second pair of words completed itself. The pair of words kept going as Blaize was making sure that he had everything he needed in his match. He looked down at his bed as he saw his katana waiting for him. It was the Bamboo katana that his Chuunin mentor has given him. As soon as he was about to reach it he stop mid stream and raised his hand away from the katana. He started to sigh as he then tried to relax himself. “No, no not yet, I still need a bit more practice in. If I use it without the practice then this could only be a disadvantage.” He picked up his weapon holsters and places them accordingly on his legs. He started to look out the window as the moments of the match was finally starting.

He was late into finding out what had happened within the other matches; the reason was that he overslept. Nothing that he does often but the idea of the tournament must have shaken him up to what was going on right here today. It was unfortunate because in the bracket, his match was this. That means that everyone who won would have seen each other’s matches and get a sense of what the winners will be like, Blaize did not have this luxury to see his first two matches. It was alright, there was nothing he could do, it just meant he had to rely on his own abilities within this match. As he entered the area in which the participants have waited for their match, Blaize was called. Being the only one there, the rest were either there and watching the upcoming battle or in the ER room of the tournament building.

He followed the person who led him to his spot. On the opposite end of the wall laid the entrance of the tournament and the next match taking place. As he tried to calm himself he heard the man speaking. He spoke of both of the shinobi that was here, hearing someone else calling his last name was still new to him. I know the last name is not a secret but Blaize himself does not know much of the clan he was birth in. This was the moon country though, it is said the Ryuzaki clan had given their time here in this country, could there be another Ryuzaki here that was not the point. It’s the point in the fact that the match is here and the match is now.

The doors opened up as Blaize started to walk over to the middle of the area. In this arena he viewed the landscape. It seems that the matches before had never happened. They must have some ninja come in before each match and clean up was has been damaged from the previous matches. Again he would not have known if he has not even been here in the other matches. Never the less, it is just as described. The man on the other side walked his way into the middle as well. The last words of the speaking man was at a close as he viewed his opponent already running from the middle to the edge of the arena, what was he planning. He did not want to get into close range combat, why?

He did not know the reason, but there had to be one. The match was here and now and this is where he would win the first round. Blaize decided not to follow him head on but to jump back and if, possible mirror his movement if he decided to go in the left or right direction. Blaize started to take out two kunai as he started to throw them at him. He did not know what much they would accomplish but it would test out how well he was going to take things, and how quickly he responds.
Not knowing what he had in store Blaize decided to go on the defensive as well. For all he know he could be using the wall for support or even the water as a source for water ninjutsu. Blaize decided to be close to his own element. He jumped up and started to run up one of the pillars that were close to him. He was making sure to keep his distance and then to be close to the flames as well. He started to stand near the edge of the bowl as he then started to stare down at the man. The person was interesting to Blaize. He has already threw his kunai at him, but of course something like that may have or have not stopped him. For now it was his opponent who had the first move, who would lead this fighting dance.

Madrox dove into the water and created himself a sword of draining. Before rising to the surface he activated his water clone and pointed in the direction behind it. They both shot out of the water, and ran around the outside of the ring, aiming towards Blaize. He tossed a shuriken at the boy as he ran between each pillar. He was trying to throw him off, figured Katon was his strongest element, thus why he was hiding on the pillar. That and he must of had long range techniques, thus why the top of the pillar would be a great vantage point. Madrox had to get over there quickly, apparently this man wasn't going to come down anytime soon.

He rushed at the pillar the boy was standing on, hoping to topple it and remove the brazier from the fight. Perhaps the boy would fall off, or perhaps he would even jump down and fight. Madrox didn't know as of yet but he didn't care. He would pummel the pillar until it either fell or the boy came down and fought like a man. If he did, Madrox would switch to his Taijutsu and just keep focusing pain from himself to the boy. He would try to take as little pain as possible.

Ryuzaki Blaize watched, his shuriken has failed in because the guy has dived inside the source of water. He was right, his objective was the water. Not only was his theory right but his opponent wasted no time in escaping his shuriken. He started to think of his plan, he knew that he had to use his sources the best way he can. He was standing on the pillar as he watched the actions of the man. Still he was still inside of the water. Blaize started to prepare on what his next plan would be. He started to snap his fingers as his hands and legs were engulfed in flames. He then placed his hand and extends his arm to the fire as the fire from his left hand and left leg started to escape his body and feed inside of the fire. He then raised his hand and extended his other arm to the direction of the basin in front of him. The fire from his right arm and right leg escape him and entered the basin. Why was this important? He was going to use his clan’s ability to ensure victory.

By this time the man started to escape out of his protective water. When he got out of his water protection he noticed that not only did he appear out of water but another ‘him’ started to escape out of the water. Both of them facing two different directions with their back’s facing the other’s back. He looked at the two and noticed that they have held a sword made of water. Using the water that they have dived in as a source must have been cleaver. “Judging by this, his clone should be a water clone, if not a type of advance clone, shadow clone perhaps. I only seen this done by my mentor, I did not expect him to be of a level of that of a Chuunin. Or maybe it is just a water clone. Either way it too advance to be just a basic clone. Err….here he comes.” The man and his clone dashed into different directions and started to make their way into the direction of Blaize’s pillar. The objective was clear, confuse him and then take their chance of his own blind side. Blaize knew that he had to deal with the situation at hand, but he hoped that the man did not have a third clone hidden within the water, even so there is no time for that now, he need to act with what he had.

As the two shinobi headed towards Blaize he looked at his basin that he was standing on, then the basin that was across from him. He then looked down on the oncoming shinobi. Two of them threw shuriken at him. Blaize instinctively took out a shuriken and threw his shuriken at one of the shuriken and then he started to jump in the air to dodge the second one. It did not take him much to land back on the basin. He started to notice the advantage he was trying to obtain with two targets at once. He took his position and stance on top of the basin. He started to raise his arms and then snap his fingers as the flame from the basin he was standing on started to rise up from the basin it was stored in, in the similar action that he raised his hand. He pinpointed the two shinobi and then lowered his hand down to the direction of the two shinobi as the fire split in two and then rushed down to the direction of the men. He had to let the two shinobi come close because he knew that the fire would not reach to a far location but it was enough to cover and protect the pillar it stood upon. He honed his eyes to the two of them as the flames directed their attention to the two shinobi. His hope was to catch one or both within the flame and burn them, if not to take out the clone and focus on the real one. He still had distance but not as much as he had before. Let’s see how this Suiton shinobi prepares for a counter attack on his fire, the fire that he praises so much.

The members of the clan can use fire at will and control natural flames if they submit an equal amount of flame to control it. The way the clan summons up flame is with the use of a snap in the hands. The amount used is gauge within the ranking of the shinobi. Lighting a small candle or burning a tip of a rope or something similar in that aspect is considered D rank usage. Anything the size of a softball to the size of a beach ball, As well as flame engulfing the hands and up to the elbow or Feet up to the kneecap is at C rank cost. B Rank usage of fire is anything larger than the size of a beach ball or longer than 30 feet of rope, up to the size of a Shed is considered to be B rank usage of flame. Anything the size of the Kage's mansion, distance from the Fire temple to the location of grass were team Kakashi was trapped is considered A rank usage of fire/fire chakra.

The clan had taken advantage of their trait of having a fire affinity to the best that they can. The clan itself has achieved a level of mastery that allows Katon based jutsu to be reduced as well as having a slight resistant to fire itself. The shinobi of the clan can use up to 25% less chakra in Katon based jutsu. The clan can also withstand 25% of heat and fire from nature and in combat.
With the clan’s combat in flames they are able to engulf their body in flame, most notably the arms and legs of the member’s body. In combat they add a flame effect with each attack that gives the enemy a slight burn to the body. With repeated attacks the flame can cause burns to the enemy.

Ryuzaki Flame: N/A Only stating the use that the clan can manipulate pre-existing fire. Since it is using a jutsu to control the flame and not trying to control the flame on the spot the CP will stay within the Ryuzaki Inferno’s CP cost.

Madrox and his clone noticed the fire spitting towards them. They slashed at it with their swords, and dispersed the flame. His clone ran up to the pillar and it tossed it's sword into the water allowing it to break apart in the water. Madrox did the same. He shot up towards the man in the blink of an eye, and attempted to kick the man up into the air. He would shadow him, punch him in the side, and then kick him back to the arena all in one quick motion. He wanted to pull the boy from the fire, so they could be on fair ground. Madrox was unsure as to the boy's other element, or even his other combat options, but Madrox figured that fighting him fist to fist would be his best option. Either after the boy landed from the kick, or if he dodged it, Madrox would head to ground level and prepare for another assault. It was either use his Taijutsu and drain himself early, or grab the boy. He figured he would attempt to grab the boy and if he did, he would drain the boy's chakra. Worst case scenario, the boy would attack him causing him damage and physical pain, and he would have to channel the pain in. He pushed out the hand signs, and held the beam. He wanted to be close to the boy in an unsuspecting manner before unleashing his beam.

“A persistent persons isn’t he.” He said as he watched his opponent already taking his counter action to his flames. With the water sword he noticed that he and the clone slashed the fire. He watched as the flame was cut but the flame was a set source but not enough to be taken down by a single slash by a water sword, none the less it did cut the flame by half and there was not really much he could do with it. Either way the two of them continued on the hunt to his specific pillar. When they reached close enough he noticed the two of them throwing the swords out to the opposite direction. When the sword landed on the ground the swords then dispersed back into the water it was formed by. He looked back at the two shinobi as one of them started to disappear, or at least used his speed to come up to the pillar.

Blaize eyes widen as the person reached him and send up an aerial kick. Blaize, with the little time he had, blocked with his hands as the force drove him up in the air. “Damn it the throwing of the swords was just a distraction on what he was planning to do. Need to hold my focus.” He said he was reaching higher in the air. Just then he noticed his opponent dispersed from his position and then felt his presence right below him with a small gap of space in between the two. He noticed this position well, this one he even studied himself. “Leaf Shadow Dance, ”

His opponent did not waist anytime for his attack, Blaize motioned his right hand towards himself, over his stomach. While he did that his opponent his opponent took the opening and then punched him in the side. The punch and the forced of the attack started to send him down to the ground, he was still in the air but lower then the position of the man who landed the punch. He watched as his opponent started to use his feet to try to land a kick to Blaize’s body. As the leg was trying to connect, flames from behind the opponent started to appear and shot out to the opponent to force him forward with his flame attack. The reason why the flame even came to Blaize’s aid in the first place is when he started to rise in the air. When he motioned his hand to over his stomach, he was using the fire from the second basin he sent his chakra to. The fire from that basin raised over and listen to his command and then made its way to Blaize’s direction to attack his opponent. Hopefully, because of the focused that his opponent had to deal with there would not be much of a way to dodge this attack. Nevertheless he wanted to make sure that this attack would cancel out the leg that wanted to attack him.

Blaize’s own self continued to fall down on the ground. As he fell his body was close to the pillar. He focused his hand with chakra and then pushed his hand to the pillar and use that momentum to push himself and then flipped his body over so that he was now has his stomach facing the ground. His eyes looked into the direction of the ground and noticed the clone still standing on the ground, nearby his landing. He focused his hands to the ground and landed like a dog on all fours as he used the momentum and pushed himself forward to the clone as he jumped like a pounce and twist his body and extended his leg to do a hurricane kick to his clone. While the real opponent had to deal with the fire attack that was directed at him he hoped to take out the clone before it started to make more of a problem then it has already. If he was able to take out the clone, he focused back his attention to his opponent that had to deal with his flame.

As Madrox attempted to send his foot into the boy's chest he started to feel heat behind him. He spun his head and fire was right behind him. He quickly replaced himself with his clone, as the boy landed next to him. The clone dispersed into the water it was created in, and the boy pounced Madrox. As the boy pounced Madrox got hit with his hurricane kick and then grabbed the boy's leg in an attempt to use his momentum to flip him, Madrox grunted, and swung his elbow at the boy's head as it moved closer. He was hoping to catch him quickly and the catch him hard. He was going to strictly rely on his own strength, speed, endurance, and regular combat. He could tell he was weakening and needed to save what he had left for what really mattered. If his elbow connected, he would follow through with more punches until the boy got off of him. He would then rely strictly on his capoeira and just fight the boy hand to hand, with no chakra, unless it was needed.

Blaize’s fire did not get the opponent as he wanted to. Instead the two of them switched with a body replacement jutsu. Blaize did not know of this, well not sure about this would be the right way to do that. As he landed on the ground he noticed that his clone seem like it flickered away but only to appear to the same spot. Blaize did not detect his presence in another area, and that seemed weird to him. Other that that there was no other way to detect what he has done. Neavertheless the attack was still going to go on. When he reached the ground he pounced up and used the momentum to the direction of his opponent. He extended his leg and preformed a hurricane kick. It landed to his stomach and side but when the third kick was about to connect his opponent raised his hand and grabbed his leg, stopping his jutsu mid strive.
Blaize eyes widen, into which he wondered how he was able to stop him. He looked at his body and how he would allow him to attack him. He then thought to himself.

“Could it be, he let me hit him to read my movements, my speed?” As he held his leg his opponent started to move forward and used his over half of his body to attack him with his elbow with his head. The elbow connected with his forehead and his headband protector. As he was hit his head was sent back a bit as he motioned back up to look at him and used his hand to grip his elbow. He felt a bit awkward on this position and his head was starting to ach with pain but he had to take action now.

He pulled his hand that gripped his elbow back to him as he then used his own leg that was on the ground and pushed backwards and with the momentum he forced himself and his opponent on the ground. In which he would land on his bottom and force his opponent to land on the ground face first. As they would land on the ground he snapped his finger as his hands and legs engulfed in flame. With his KKG he focused to burn his hand that was gripping his leg from the hurricane kick. Then to burn his elbow that he gripped tightly after his attack. His other leg that was on the ground to burn whatever lower part of the body it was touching. He used his free arm to place his hand on his face to burn his face until he either quit or submit. He used his opponent counter attack to his advantage. He started to feel the pain on his side and his forehead but he hoped this would force his opponent into submission.

Madrox screamed in pain as the fire engulfed his hands. He pushed through the pain and bit the palm of the boy's hand that held his arm, and began to channel all the pain that he felt from the fire, back into the boy. He wasn't going to let go no matter what happened, and he refused to release the boy from his bite. He wasn't going to lose this easily and this early, even if it meant damaging his body permanently. He let go of the boy's leg and held onto his hand with his teeth. As he held on, He attempted to punch the boy in every open opportunity he got. The head, the stomach, the arm, the leg, the neck even. Wherever he could get a shot in, he would. He refused to end this fight already, and he refused to give up. This boy was going down, one way or another.

Jutsus:

His attack connected. He was able to get his opponent on the ground. His final attack was now. The flames were now doing their job to make him burn his body alive. The flames he contributed to the attack were taking its actions by the sound of his opponent yelling. The yelling was so loud that it echoed out of his hands to the stadium. He noticed that the stadium was focusing on even more on this battle. A shrike would stop anyone to see what was going on. His legs were doing their own actions. As stated before the leg that was connected with his arm was burning his arm and then Blaize’s own free leg was burning his opponent’s leg that was on top of Blaize’s because of the way that they have fallen on the ground. His Hands was burning his elbow that he pulled and used to bring his opponent to the ground. Lastly, you have the flame that was burning his face.

As the people looked on the opponent went, to what seems like a berserk mode. Who would blame him after the pain that he was feeling. He started to try to jerk his body around and out of the submission Blaize was trying to place him to. With the movement of his arm and the threshold he had he let go of his hand that was holding his leg that was used in the hurricane kick. Blaize’s eyes widen as his hand was now free from his clutches. He started to move his free hand to try to stop the movement of his hands. While his hand was trying to connect with his opponent’s free hand he felt a sharp pain on his arm. He started to look back as he noticed that his opponent was biting him. Blaize let go of his face as well and he used that opportunity to bite him. He wanted to stop the bite but the problem was that he had to try to fight the berserker arm that his opponent was swinging like mad. As he tried to clench his arm as he felt a sharper and more increased form of pain. His eyes started to squint as a huge bolt of pain started to enter his body. He started to feel burning sensation as well as other sharp pain on his body. He wondered how this was happening. He looked over to his opponent as his mouth as he clenched his teeth on his hand, just below the thumb. The pain was inflicting from that spot. What kind of trick was this was it poison, no something else. A hidden jutsu of his that must be it.

He started to wince as the pain was transferring to his body. He tried to pull his arm out of the way from his biting but it did not work wince he was pulling his body as well since his hand was still clutching to his elbow. He does know that if he was to let go of that arm that he would have two free arms. Madrox closed his eyes and he saw a light. He was sucked back into his life, and no longer felt any pain. His eyes shot open and he ripped the kunai out of his neck and stabbed at the boy that he still had his teeth in. He couldn't see anything, but he had an idea of where the boy was. He was living off basically sound at this point and kept swinging with both hands where he assumed the boy was, since his teeth was still in the boy's hand. He finally released and tried to throw some kicks, to catch the boy off balance. He knew he was weak and dying, but he couldn't feel anything, so he carried on with his attacks. He continued to rush the boy non-stop, even if he wasn't facing the boy, he continued to fight. He threw out hand signs and exhaled his mist waltz where he assumed the boy was. He jumped onto of a pillar that he remembered was close, and he coated his kunai with oil, and flung it through the fire into the mist. The explosion sent the pillar tumbling down, and he fell back first into the water. He swam to the top and shot out of the water.
