Ayame Kinzoku vs Ogatami Ekiguchi

It was simply excellent to have such glorious weather on the first day of the Moon Country's Tournament. A stunning sun that perched itself high above the sky and released pleasant light through the clouds that drifted leisurely with the summer wind. The sheer energy of the people chanting outside the stadium gave birth to the sound of trumpets that echoed across the entire stadium, signaling the great doors to open and release of flood of viewers into the stands. People from various countries, villages, and of course Moon Country flowed from the entrance in a near endless quantity, all sharing the same desire to witness the spectacular event that was about to take place. Within minutes the stadium was fully occupied with cheering spectators and with another segment of a trumpet resonance the entrance doors closed in a final slam. Members of the tournament's faculty began materializing inside the arena grounds, the proctor himself wearing a black suited attire and a full medical unit wearing their white coated uniform. On the highest tier of the stadium a great bang was heard, and instantly silence was summoned inside the stadium. Lord Yoshiyuki, Moon Countries divine authority and political leader had made entrance into the stadium. His long flowing blue and golden robe and pure diamond accessories stood testament to his high status within the nation he held within his entire hands. His skin was glowing with the steady excitement brewing within his flesh, and his long red hair flowing like the fiery satin that it could easily replicate. Beside him were two robust and stern bodyguards that not only emitted an energy of authority but also had a posture of humbleness and care for their leader. Upon him seeing the faces of his beloved citizens and visitors, Lord Yoshiyuki was glad that he adopted the festivities of the Summer Festival within his own home and welcomed the ninja of Konohgakure and even other nations to participate in his tournament that would rattle the ninja world and will strengthen the alliance between Konoha and Moon Country.

He looked down at the giant arena located within the heart of the stadium and viewed it's contents in pure vanity of his landscaping talent. It was fifty meters in diameter with ten meter stone walls around it's perimeter. The terrain was mostly composed of low cut grass although there were other instruments placed to enhance the setting. Eight large 15ft pillars were located in a octagonal formation around the arena's edges in the grass terrain, each holding a large bowl of burning wood at it's top providing a source of fire. Around the perimeter of the arena was a ring of fresh water that divided the grassy landmass and the walls by a few meters except for the small area where the contestants walk though. Being at a near endless depth, it can provide the competitors with a source of water if they're near the edges of the ring. Overall the stadium was neat, simple, and decorative and would surely be enough to supply the fighters with the tools necessary to display their talents.

Lord Yoshiyuki made his way toward the edge of his balcony, letting his natural luminescence filter through the stadium. His bodyguards mimicked his actions like a pair of drones, standing a few feet at each side of him. By pumping chakra into this throat it allowed him to project his voice loud enough to be heard throughout the entire stadium with clarity. "The second match of the first round begins now!" He announced which exhilarated the crowd. While the crowd stridently applauded to his words he waited for them to calm down before continuing. "This match's competitors will be Ayame of the Kinzoku Clan and Ogatami of the Ekiguchi Clan!" The crowd applauded at in a light frequency which will last until both competitors meet within the field. Lord Yoshiyuki sat down on his giant golden chair and peered at the field with crossed legs. The medical unit disbanded into the stands and the proctor flickered himself in the center of the field where the two competitors will meet. The bell rang and the doors opened on each side of the field. Ayame entered from the south, and Ogatami from the north, and they approached each other until they were five meters apart in the center. With a quick "Begin!" from the proctor, he instantly flickered out of the arena, and the match had begun.

-This exam is on a three day post requirement, if you fail to post in three days after your opponent you are automatically disqualified.
-You are the only two who are permitted to post here.
-This exam does not have a competition date, as I said, it's a three day post requirement so we expect it done quickly, if it continues due to continuous dodging, I'll proctor it like I'm supposed to and come to a conclusion.
-If you exit the ground floor you will be disqualified, by no means should you harm the audience, you can however use the wall as a weapon or a surface to run on.
-Be elaborate with your jutsu, explain it. Don't confuse your opponent, all jutsu are required to be attached at the bottom of a thread via a quote or a spoiler, it is not to be messy.
-All standard roleplaying rules apply.
-This is the first time you have heard of your opponent, unless you have met them in character before.
-If you are in a death situation and you obviously don't wish to be killed, you can RP a medic coming to your rescue although that will automatically get you disqualified.

Inside the northern entrance gate was the content young Ogatami who occupied his captivating young mind by simply humming a tune to himself. The enclosed sound of his melodic voice echoed out of his voice-box around his entire aura, turning his body into a living boombox. The music was a conduit of his emotions, which is why it sounded rather like a mix of heavy metal from his anxiety and a piano because of his gentle mind. The two of them mixed extraordinary and became his own little theme for the time being. Oh how he loved his ability to create music, there was no other type of energy in the universe that was so perpetuating and mystical. He stood behind the gate with pure honor and pride, for his village and for his clan of course. The Ekiguchi is one of the most secretive and extravagant clans within Konoha with power beyond which the mind can comprehend. Ogatami would be considered the perfect ideal young warrior for his people, wearing the traditional violet uniform which was a mixture of both Ninja, Samurai, and Priest articulations that have been passed down from generation to generation. His striking magenta eyes which seemed to change tone according to his mood was blazing with intensity. However despite his eyes the rest of his body was apparently cool and at ease, which could possibly make him appear quite crazed to those up close.

His concentration and melody was disrupted by a large bell sound which he knew was an indication that the much had begun. With his ability to see sound as colors with his synthesia, he could see his wondrous pink and orange waves of music ambushed by a harsh reddish current. The gates started to creek and slowly open to expose him to a beautiful arena. Ogatami smiled at the alluring view of small lush grass reflecting the bleeding rays of a penetrating sun high above the clouds. He could hear the stream of water flowing around the entrance and the crackling of the fire that rested on top of the pillars. He walked a few paces while patting his Genin Kit on his left side to make sure all his equipment was in place. He could feel the acute bulges of his freshly sharpened blades through the linens of the bag, each one organized in a fashion where he can easily withdraw it without looking at it. He continued his stroll througout the field and welcomed the cheers of his viewers. He looked upon their faces in disbelief that so many people applauded for him. Men, woman, and children, all applauding in a melody so beautiful even he could create it.

He took his final step five meters from his opponent who stopped inimical to his. He gazed upon her with eyes that didn't hold rage or determination, but rather worry for what he might to do this girl. She looked very innocent and beautiful, but frankly Ogatami wouldn't allow her feminism to sway him from his victory. She had a look on her eye that could rival those of a tiger who confronts a man who has threatened her cubs, so strong and deadly. Ogatami shrugged off her threatening glance like it was nothing and fell back to a fighting stance. After a "Begin" from the Proctor, he quickly flickered out of the field and left the two competitors free to combat to their own accord. Ogatami thought it would interesting to see how Ayame fights and what unique abilities she possesses.

Ayame sprang into action! Taking the split second opportunity to release her first assault which basically consisted of retrieving some shuriken from her weapon pouch and launching them at Ogatami. As she did that Oga also reacted by retrieving an explosive kunai from his own pouch and gripping it into his hand after a few playful twirls. Using his evasion, he quickly performed a one-handed summersault and flipped to his left. Whilst airborne Ayame took it upon herself to perform a secondary manuever. She had dropped a smoke bomb which clouded her within it's contents. He knew however that he was just invisible to her as she was to him.. somewhat. So with his explosive tag in one hand, he quickly performed a set of hand-seals with his other hand and summoned two clones.

She may think that she has the upper hand and she would be very foolish to believe so. One of the Ekiguchi's characteristics is to see sound as a powerful visible color. From birds chirping, footsteps, and voices, anything that could make a sound could be seen by a clansmen. For this situation his power of Synthesia would be his main weapon which could possibly result to Ayame's death. Upon landing on the ground after his somersault and positioning his clones to his side, he focused in on the smoke cloud that covered Ayame and read her colors like a book. Through the one-colored smoke could see faint greenish waves twisting and vibrating in a small patterns, those that could only equate to the movements of hand seals. After that he saw a big stream of brown color hissing from the earth and vibrating througout the cloud as if it were penetrated. "She dug herself underground, stupid." He said.

With his ability he saw nearly every movement performed by her and even her current location inside the earth. In order for her to move freely inside of it she would have to dig herself which will only make noise which Ogatami is able to visually see even pass the physical spectrum. He pin-pointed her area and flung his explosive kunai directly at her. Because they were in close distance it only took a few seconds before the kunai reached her destination and ignited in a powerful explosion. Since she was underground, she was incapable of seeing Ogatami and even the kunai, making this an entire shock to her. Furthermore, Ogatami could see her location and threw it directly to her, providing zero chance of missing since that attack was an explosion that effected at least a few meter radius. He would blow Ayame right out of her hole, inflicting terrible damage to her.

The tag detonated in an effectual explosion that not only authored a powerful shock wave but managed to disperse the smoke cloud in its entirety. Many people from the audience arisen from their seats with their mouths covered and their animated eyes bulging out of their sockets. Gasps were heard from all around the stadium however it failed to arouse any sort of emotion inside Ogatami. He stood there slightly hunch while accompanied by his two illusionary clones each to his side. He contemplated what sort of dynamic her would maneuver with the clones when the situation called for it, but on the latter he temporarily suspended the thought. From the descending rubble and apparatuses from the explosion, Ayame charged at the Ogatamis with a blade fixated in her small silken hands. Ogatami was calm, gangster at the very least with little to no worry of any upcoming danger. His lack of enthusiasm was justified by his ability to recognize that this Ayame was simply a clone, because her footsteps created no sound which Ogatami could see. Bunshin Clones were ethereal and intangible, they created no sound nor caused any physical harm. How this one managed to hold a physical weapon such as a kunai was beyond his spectrum of understanding, if it was even real at all. For that he raised an eyebrow in curiosity.

Behind the clone was the real Ayame, her radiant presence and energy glossing the grass around her crater as if it were joyful to be in her presence. A crater was formed around her in a near perfect circle, with her being it's focal point. She looked unharmed which Ogatami thought was amusing. It could be possible that she burrowed herself so deep in the earth that she avoided the blast wave, interesting. Managing to dig that deep in that short amount of time could possibly show that she had great proficiency in the doton element, however it wasn't the only element she appeared to be wielding. Inside his Izanami Realm Ogatami could feel a polarity shift in the matrix of energy he was so use to feeling. An opposing field of energy meshed with his in an unwanted level. "A.. magnetic field?" He thought while looking around. Sound Waves and the Magnetic Field were two powerful forces of energy that sort of went hand-to-hand with each other depending on who you ask. The Magnetic Field utilizes sound waves in a variety of uses, such as igniting sun rings although that tied into more of shockwave conversion. The only reason Ogatami could sense her field was because it slightly tinkered with his Izanami, fascinating.

As such to be expected, metal started to suspend out of her carrying pouch and form a sphere in her overhead. Within his Izanami he could feel the vibrations of her magnetic field forming a cluster, it was like his sound energy was fixating onto it. She hurled her metal sand towards Ogatami and the clones in a wave-like fasion, trying to enclose them in all directions. Luckily her clone had stricken one of his own clones which managed to disperse him, no matter, he had an idea.

After hastened thinking, the young and talented ninja Ogatami came with a sudden realization. He could feel the magnetic movements of her techniques simply because metal conducts sound, which is the fundamental base of his Izanami Realm. This gave him a variety of advantages against her which he would exploit with full capacity. Because her magnetic manipulation conducted his sounds, granted his ability to sense sounds and his Izanami, would enable him to sense her technique movements. Moreso, since metal conducted sound, he could use it as a conduit for his Genjutsu techniques over any distance if her metal particles were close to one another, like in this scenario. Even if it didn't, Ayame was close enough to fall into his spell anyway, she was doomed.

Forming a quick set of hand seals, Ogatami produced a melody in his Izanami Realm which could produce sound from anywhere which it cover, which in his case was a fair distance. He could see floating dark colors in the air with his synthesia, he was quite fond of his particular song. The dark colors were present around Ayame and were really intense around her punch area that carried her metal. This was an indicator that Ogatami was free to cast his illusion, which he did so quickly.

Instantly, the world around Ayame was shifted in the effect of Ogatami's Genjutsu. White Lotuses stormed within the entire field and coated her vision in their contents. They surrounded and danced around her, blocking her sight which rendered her blind. Her metal, her clone, all dispersed within the illusion. As the music played, Ogatami amplified it even more using his Geijutsu, pitching the sound to wear it was able to mask any other sound Ayame could hear, such as Ogatami's footsteps and strikes. Blind and Deaf, she would be unable to sense Ogatami as he performed his assault. He manifested around Ayame in a deathly dance, slashing her in the eyes, throat, and hamstrings. It would be inevitable that one of these hits would land if not all, and reap her great unfortunate. If his attack on her eyes landed, she would be blind, the threat, dead, the hamstring, crippled.

The actions of Ayame were rather beyond inscrutable to say the least, but typical for someone with inexperience when facing Genjutsu. As she was placed within the illusion, she proceeded to engage in an attack that was already avoided and in the past. The premiere of his next onslaught was on the horizon, yet she neglected to act in accordance to the situation currently at hand. She didn't understand how he avoided her attack, but in the warfare of illusion, discretion is key. In a quick battle flashback, Ogatami revisited the events of the attack which Ayame performed onto him. He'd placed her into an illusion during the time she began positioning her metal around him and his clones, not during the encasing process. Not a second after his clone dispersed his illusion was already in play and by that time her sand almost fully encircled. It only took three hand seals to perform his technique which was only a second, it would be impossible for her to hasten her metal formation that quickly to encase both Ogatami's and his clones proximity of a few meters. As he dispersed himself into lotuses which she had no choice but to see since that was the effects of the illusion, he used that delay time to avoid her attack and advance towards her at an angle which she was incapable of seeing because of the lotuses.

But in the present she didn't take into consideration the advances he made towards her despite the previous matter. When he proceeded to slash her with his doku kunai in certain areas on her body, she still proceeded to enclose her metal case which was nothing but an illusion in essence. The Genjutsu caster affects the reality, not the victim. But Ogatami found it quite mean for her to not even acknowledge his attack. During that time Ogatami did manage to nip Ayame's left leg with his blade, it wasn't a harsh cut but it did manage to bleed. He disappeared again back to the white void, ready to strike again when the time was right.

Possibly out of shock, Ayame produced a sheer magnetic pulse from her body after receiving a small cut by Ogatami's poisonous kunai. He could feel the entire blade vibrating within his hand until it finally flung itself out of his palms and spiraled in the air. Ogatami's eyes followed the blade until it struck itself on the ground and stood erected amongst the grass. He was surprised that Ayame had such a dramatic response to just a little cut, he could have done much worse. But then again it might be a sign of a quick reaction time which could possibly be another talent of her which he didn't know about. But despite the matter it made little to no difference about the kunai, he had more of them and frankly he didn't need it at the moment. Its purpose had been served and delivered fashionably, Ayame was poisoned.

Ogatami vanished into the white void where he would stay hidden and attack again. This was his signature technique for several reasons, one because he could move and appear anywhere he wanted within the Genjutsu, almost as if he could control space and time on his own accord. It was an interesting thought to wonder how powerful his illusions will be once he became higher in rank and skill, he could possibly be very treacherous. With the poison pumping in her blood it will take only a short amount of time before it began to take effect, and when it did this fight would be over. The Five Sense Confusion Disorder Poison was a dangerous hallucinogenic poison that Konoha adopted from Moon Country's Black Market. When it was combined with a powerful Genjutsu user such as Ogatami it would enable his illusions to become more potent and deceptive because of the target's inability to grasp any form of reality.

He saw Ayame try to perform a Kai dispel which was more icing on his bloody cake. When she performed her Kai his Kugyō trap activated which he placed into the illusion once he started it. Her hands became set aflame and burned until they were gruesomely gone, with only char on her wrists as their remains. Her hands were gone, she was blind by his illusion, deaf by his music, and poisoned by his blade, her fate was sealed. With her hands gone she would be unable to perform hand seals or even inflict legitimate harm to herself to break the spell. Ogatami's onslaught then began, he spiraled around Ayame while aiming at her throat and stomach, slash after slash in instantaneous cycles. It would be very wise of her to forfeit this match while she still could, because if the match proceeded with this state, she would be dead.
