Health

What is this? A health blog on a Naruto based site?!? Say it ain’t so Trickster, say it ain’t so! Well, yes, I’m doing this. Boredom runs all across my mind at times during the late hours and early morning of my time zone. When boredom hits, the brain juices are flowing and when they be flowing-they are flowing to what I like best. The madness behind this atrocity can only be behind a person who is just as mad. Well, you are precisely right ladies and gentlemen. This madman will begin blogging from time to time about the side of health that is rarely talked about in any damn Naruto site (I don’t think it’s talked about at all-SHUT UP!).

What made you interest in this now?

It’s funny you ask. I’ve always been one to search through different types of fields when it comes to things intellectually. Nutrition is one of my major interests next to anatomy and physiology and in a way they correlate with each other. Another thing about it is the fact that I can self experiment with the foods I eat and how I exercise and to me that’s the best part of nutrition. I’ve always been curious as to what things ‘truly’ makes a person feel like healthy and not just look it. A person can look “healthy” but they aren’t exactly up to their full potential. This is just something I do on the side and I wanna share it with ya’ll. Some days it’ll be short and sweet while others I may do full reports on depending on my schedule.

I hope you enjoy this little section of mine.

Quickie #1

Keep it simple baby.

I have to admit, I’ve tried plenty of diets in my lifetime. Short as it been, I’ve went through that little rollercoaster. A bit of a jock during my middle school and high school years, I always wanted to improve my performance even by a little fraction. I went through the transition of diets that came along and across the long and narrow of nutrition. I’ve had my fair share of conventional wisdom and other measures when it comes down to it. Needless to say, I didn’t find the answers at the time. Perhaps I was just looking at the wrong spots. It was after high school that I began to truly focus on the subject and over the course from graduation onward, I’ve discovered something that is really right in front of me.

When it comes to food, keep it simple. Or as I say keep it close to nature if possible. Nature is a wonder. Seriously, Nature is a sexy beast. Things that are close to nature such as:

  • A variety of meats

  • A variety of vegetables.

  • A variety of fruits.

  • A variety of nuts.


Bam, nailed it. Four food groups right there that literally took too long to figure it. So simple a caveman can do it. But why these four groups? Why are these groups the best to indulge in when it comes to diet. What are the benefits of these things? Aren't there research saying some of these groups are bad for us? Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa. That'll get answered. This is a quickie not a full on report. More coming soon.
