The waves lazily tumbled onto the shore, a slight crashing sound heard. The sun hung heavily overhead, it's rays of light just now barely casting their radiance on the waters clear surface. For now the beach was clear of any visitors, save for a lone pink haired girl. She wandered slowly along the waters edge, her feet getting covered with wet grainy sand. Today was a different day for this lazy ninja. What made it so different was that fact that she would start training again. All this talk about the tournament made her crave power. Well not power per say, it just made her want to gain knowledge in things. To be able to do stuff without being weak.
She paused lightly, her pale blue eyes glancing to the water. It was calm for moments at the time, but suddenly she saw a head peak out. It was silvery, it's scales glinting in the sunlight. She had to take another look at it, for it had startled her greatly. Suddenly an idea came to her mind, one that was absolutly perfect for what was on her mind. She was, after all, a supposed weapons user. But till now she had not done any training. Today that would all change.
The fish seemed to be jumping out of the water at certain intervals, all an equal amount of time. Lucky fo her there was more than one fish, which provided more than one target. Sighing she stepped back, providing distance between her and the water. She drew out a ninja star, only one for now. Her plan was to start with a large object to hit her target , then slowly progress to a much smaller sized item such as her senbons. To her it seemed like a great idea. and so she would follow through in it.
She waited until the perfect opportune moment to strike. She had been counting in her head how long between each time this specific fished had jumped. One ..two.. Three.. It was an evenly paced counting, thus taking her some time to arrive at the number twenty. Right when the number twenty came to mind, the fished jumped high into the air, glittering in the sunlight. It almost blinded her but she tried to aim her best. Her fingers made a flicking motion, realeasing the ninja star into the air. It cut across rapidly and soon found itslelf lodged into the fishes fin. Not perfect, but it would do for now.
Slowly she repeat the same process with the ninja star until she could hit it square in the eye. Yes, she did feel guilty that these fish would be sacrificing themselves for her training, but to her it was for a good cause. She just hoped no one got her into any sort of trouble due to her reckless slaughtering of innocent fish. After, she pocketed her ninja stars, and drew out a Senbon. Now this would be quite the challenge for her. A ninja star was easier in a sense, because it was much larger than this puny piece of metal in her hands. Though she knew, if used correctly, this senbon could be very dangerous indeed.
Her breathin slowed down several notches, trying to ease her mind. In theory it seemed and looked simple. Fling this small item at a large fish. Easy right? So again she waited, an at the last minute she flung her senbon out, hoping to catch the fish dead straight in it's pupil. Alas, it was not meant to be. The fish escaped by just a hair, narrowing missing this would be fatal attack. Ugh! She new tally screamed at herself. Instantly though she rebuked herself for even getting mad. This would have to be done in a calm and contolled manner. Again she waited, this time anticipating everything. Her sense honed in on the fish, watching every twitch within the water. before anything jumped out, she flung the senbon out. At that very moment the unsuspecting fish leaped out, and caught the senbon right in it's eye.
This was a small success for The Inuzuka.
