Taming the wind [P, Training] Vide
PostSubject: Taming the wind [P, Training] Taming the wind [P, Training] EmptyFri 01 Apr 2011, 11:03 pm

The Wind tunnels... also known as the Air Vents. These were a tool of his ninja arsenal and while they were something he was particularly proud of he couldn't help but assume that these were in fact incomplete in their use. His original idea came from a long time ago. There was a particularly interesting manner of Chunnin Exams in which a number of villages were being showcased that hadn't ever before been seen. One of these was the hidden sound village, which had never before been considered "real" in fact, it was curious the motives behind these mysterious new sound shinobi and so he watch them closely of all. It was then, that observing footage of the broadcast of the prelim round he noticed a boy who had somehow implanted devices in his arms that could work functionally and expel air fueled by chakra! It was a technology that lead him to follow this particular story, however the boys arms were ruined in the process of the fight in which he took place in and disappeared from that point. It was only later, when he himself was caught up in a a surprise attack of the hidden sound and hidden sand against the hidden leaf. It would seem as though the boy had been killed or... sacrificed in the process. Now, Luxian isn't necessarily a grave robber, but with the dead soul technique he raided the boys grave and brought him back to Grass Country for study and observation. Because it was something of a shinobi undertaking this was seen as a spoil of war more than a graverobbing incident, and the shinobi collectively studied a technology that was original that of Orochimaru's doing. When it came down to replicating it, he himself volunteered to attempt to procedure. It was something of a beta test, or a prototype, however it worked perfectly and he healed without a scratch, now able to replicate what he had seen from the boy in the exams. He then took this prototype and completed it himself, using a shadow clone of himself to do the procedure. He was then able to adapt this into his own personal style of fighting. One of his favorites was the ability to conjure a smoke, or gas of poison and then push it with a burst of wind toward his target, catching them in the poisonous gale. He was soon inspired by this when he noticed that by manipulating the poisons in his body along side the wind tunnels he could expell poison gasses directly form his palms into the atmosphere around him. He would thus target his opponents and poison them quickly and effective. It was then that a thought came to his mind. If he could use his clan ability along side the wind tunnel then why not obviously the wind element!? He had only up to this point used the wind element to enhance the ability of his chakra scalpel technique into a workable blade, why not adapt some of the abilities of the wind tunnel with fuuton chakra and see what happened as a result. This was the beginning of a slightly epic but mostly obvious relationship between his wind tunnels and fuuton, that would evolve into a number of techniques vital to his offensive capability. Before he was restricted to a mid to long range fighting style in which he would have to attempt to infect his target and then hide. If he failed he would simply repeat the process, keeping an assassins edge on his taget. However, now he could take a new angle on a target, attacking them directly if they were for some reason resistant or god forbid immune to his own poisonous abilities. This was exactly what he needed to compliment his abilities. He focused for a time, and attempted multiple variations in which to somehow infused wind element chakra into the air tunnels from within him. At first it was a distinction of whether or not it was possible in the first place. He by force, surged wind chakra down from the top of his shoulders to his palms as though he were starting the Wind Release: Chakra Scalpel from his arm down to his fingers. He wasn't sure exactly what the result was, but it was a positive one as an awkward burst of wind sputtered from his palms. It didn't seem to hurt which was a good sign if he ever knew one, and a good starting point for him to begin mastering his ideal into a reality.

The next step was an experimental one. The nature of the implanted body modification known as the Wind Tunnels were curious, in that there was no real connectivity between spirit and the technology itself, rather a communion between the body and technology that allowed one to pass chakra simply of the natural communication between the body and the chakra system. When forming hand signs, it was even more interesting to see how these could be shaped in the body along side his modification. He needed a simple way to test his ability and thus he game himself a goal, or objective of sorts. He would simply 'shoot' form his palms a stream of air that was focused instread of wide, and thus consentrate the damage to a single point with the piercing potential of fuuton chakra. While it wasn't as strong as say, raiton, in the department of piercing based damage, the pressure would be crushing, and even one wasn't punctured through by such a thing ,the would no doubt find themselves at the mercy of the wind, or lack their of, pun intended. The best way to focus a stream of something or concentrate it to a pressure bound point, was something remenicent of a physics lesson. Water coming form one end of a hose to the other will empty the hose at a certain volumn rate. However, if you slightly cover the whole in which it exists, and thus impede it's ability to relieve the system, the system will compensate naturally by forcing more water out at the open ended point, and thus focusing the flow out of that point. With the same amount of water coming out, as the volume rate stays the same, the speed in which the water leaves is increased; and this is something that happens dramatically the more and more of the exit point is covered. Thus, in order to focus it, he would have to narrow the end of the wind tunnel with fuuton while expelling chakra to create the gust. There wasn't any way in order for him to keep the 'beam' straight without closing the exit points of the wind tunnels from all sides of it's radius evenly, and even then, with fuuton, how was this going to be possible. It was then that he got an idea. Instead of literally making it more narrow by force, he would allow natual processes to do the work for him. He would rotate the wind chakra as it came through the air vents, and thus as it escaped it would turn like a cyclone, thus narrowing to a point. However at such a small point to begin with, the adjecent waves of wind would run into the ones infront of them, and thus straighten out the flow. The result would be a powerful 'lance' of wind that would serve his purpose, and after strict simulation, he put his shaping to the test. It wasn't easy getting the perfectly correct demensions in which to accomplish his final goal, but after a multitude of tries at a multitude of chakra and wind frequency levels, he finally accomplished something that looked like what he had dreamed up. With that said, he also accomplished quite a good deal of experience with fuuton, that had before, been a far secondary attribute to his aresenal. He continued to practice over multiple days. It would seem as though about a B-ranked amount of chakra was needed to accomplish and then then a good amount of control would be needed to fix this to his muscle memory. He continued with this process until he could fix this to a set of hand signs, using three of them in order to focus his chakra adequatley. The chakra branding process into the twelve hand signs were the most important so that while he could if he wanted to, force the technique, he instead could simply do the hand signs, and like a password to his technique, gain access to it right away. Finally his technique was born, but a few days later... and would be one of many to follow of it's same art.

His mastery of wind didn't stop with just the theoretical idea of using it along side his wind tunnels. He began exploring other uses of wind and upon his own effort discovered it's deadly nature as a cutting force. He would often exam wind and the blades that it could create only in instances by the classing of two opposing forces. This was something independent of a premade blade and interestingly enough, wind had a quality that other elements did. Wind element chakra and techniques could be used to actively counter techniques of it's own weakness. Though it was weak to something like fire, one could create a vacuum of air in which no gasses currently existed and thus oxygen, the catalyst for fire itself, would be absent. Without fuel to burn fire would be rendered weakened by the thing that would otherwise make it more powerful and thus giving someone with wind element chakra no theoretical weaknesses, though he figured too that this could be said for any element under the right circumstances. He also learned that wind element chakra, of the naturally born chakras attributed to man, was one of the most more rare of it's breed; not necessarily that of an advanced element of course, but he took some pride in this fact as well.
At this time he was about twenty two. There was a period of time in which, in his assassin training, he was required to do an entire years study of the elements for while a jounin had to have knowledge of two elements in order to reach their status, his work as an assassin would require him to become good, not just learn, with an element. He took this opportunity to separate himself from all other matters and emerge himself heavily in the workings of the physics behind the power of wind and how the laws of chakra applied to these many dynamics. He walked away with knowledge of his surroundings that he wouldnt before have ever imagined having and this didn’t only effect him as a shinobi but as an individual he was now empowered. When he once again continued his field work he began attempting the process of harboring the power of wind in new ways; not just with his hand but the rest of his body as well. He hadn't learned yet what it meant to master actual techniques of the wind element form but rather, was slowly mastering the ability to control the wind element within his own form. One would say that this is the best form of mastery as one would could acquire, as if one could shape wind naturally from ones body into any form that they instructed then the air itself could be harnessed as a blade. He continued working with the possibilities of his wind element chakra as a weapon used with the air vents, but even then he was learning a technique in which he could use the wind as a physical boundary, able to run on the air itself by kicking off it's concentrated state. Wind was very physical, considering that it was not at all physical in nature. One could interact with the physical world; push and pull and crush and mold things in physical space with but wind alone and the strongest forms was almost something like psychic abilities. Controlling pressure in the air alone was something to boast of, as these would bring about a stranged and extreme conditions in which things such as friction and temperate could be effected. It was too much to say that the very gas compositions of the air could be regulated but between his ability to craft wind and the ability to craft poisons it wouldn't be too much of a stretch in the future with more research. However, all of the information provided up to this point is simply an explanation of events that have already transpired. Luxian Harmonia is in fact already a master of Fuuton thanks in part to his curiosities and his repeated experiments. His will to live and his will to make himself more powerful. He finds that just forming hand signs to techniques that he doesn't fully understand doesn't completely satisfy his potential and thanks to his mastery he still today has the craft in order to use the very wind around him as a weapon, either from within him or around him. However, with that said, he has pushed his limited before and will continue to grow stronger as he forms more techniques of the fuuton nature in order to strengthen his arsenal still.
