".....". Staring was an activity Etsu's been doing quite often these last couple of days for a some strange reason. It was such an asinine activity which she thought distracted her from her paperwork but it was one of the few things she was helpless in combating. Like the many times before, she sat in her office chair leaning against her hand, hair falling down to one side like a chocolate waterfall while she stared at her wall with her tiresome eyes. As she fell deeper into her thought, scenes from her past revealed themselves to her like a screenplay. Many of them were during her time as an ANBU a few years ago, those were some of Etsu's most glorious days where her terror was at its peak. She remembered slaughtering waves of men with her jutsu, and infiltrating the most secured of boarders without a shred of notice. Her memories began to take her to different terrains and fields in which she waged battle on. From the snowy tundras of Snow Country, the dark forests of Bear Country to even in the middle of the sea on battle ships. Her experience crafted her to be the empress that she is today, but now all she could think was her time was over, and she would grow old inside her office.

The door cracked and Etsu zoomed out of her daze. She blinked repeatedly for a short moment as her senses adjusted to the reality she was truely in. She adjusted her hat to a more respectaple angle and straightened herself up. Her secretary walked through the door while holding a cup of what smelt like tea in each of her hand. She smiled as she entered and walked casually to the chair across Etsu's desk, one heel over the other.

"Good morning Lady Hokage, I see you've been busy," Yimiko implied, referring to the pile of papers under Etsu's forearm. She gave Etsu a cup of tea and placed the other infront of her. Although hot, Etsu hugged the cup with both her hands, she needed the warmth.

"Yeah,.. I suppose". She said ardulousy. She blew into her tea and caused several brown ripples to dance across its surface, as well as cause a small cloud of steam to blow into Yimiko's direction. "Yimiko, do you think I'm losing my touch? As a shinobi I mean. It's been a minute since I've been on the field, and I miss my freedom." She expressed.

Yimiko smiled and straighed up, she loved giving advice. "Well its only been about six months since your last battle in the war. I think you should rekindle your relationship with your ANBU squad, and train with them. It would be a great way for your to get the feel again". She said, sipping some of her tea. Etsu smiled and stood from her chair, her robe fondling in the quick breeze she summoned as a result. She made her way across the desk and patted Yimiko on her shoulder, who looked at her strangely. As Etsu made her her way to the door, she removed her robe and hat and tossed them on the floor. Now, she wore her real attire, which consisted of her gray flat jacket and sweat pants. She left the room and eventually the building within seconds, and began flickering to the ANBU facility.

"What a strange lady." Yumiko said, taking another sip at her tea.
