| “Focus your mind, improve on what you know. Sense what you can’t sense, know your foe” The words of his Chuunin mentor spoke out to him as he found himself within an area of trees. This area, in particular, was used for Blaize’s Ryuzaki’s training. What training was it a person might ask, well its none other than a trait on relying on other means then your owns to see what is coming. Perception would best fit the goal on the training. Ryuzaki, Blaize had already had inkling in perception but his mentor wanted him to learn more, study more, and use his perception skills even more then he already has knowledge of. Being a Chuunin and in the field of taking higher missions, his mentor knew the importance of perception in the ninja world. His belief is that it would not only aid him, but would help him with the combination of evasiveness as well. Blaize was a shinobi of mid range capabilities and perception would just compliment the skills he already has. This was an increase of his natural ability, and to increase something of that statue training must be paid. Training that takes practice.
The practice has been taken on for weeks, before the Moon country tournament but the training has gone up to the days coming of the tournament. Blaize heard the sound of a twig break as the hells of a foot stepped on it even more crushing it with its force. He could not see the foot or the twig for the fact that he was blinded by a blind fold. None the less his face and head moved to the direction of the noise. The noise that his Chuunin mentor has made. The Chuunin mentor stood in front of him with a kunai in hand as he began to speak out to him. “Now now Blaize, don’t be so hasty. We have been planning this out for weeks. You know the drill on the sound of the kunai be prepared for the obstacles I have already given you. They can rage to one obstacle to a hundred. You are at a disadvantage when you can’t see but it does not mean you can turn that around. I will be counting on how you have improved. “
Without giving him much of a cue, a ready set, his mentor has begun his training. In mere moments he threw his kunai on the ground in which it targeted a rope as it cut it to set off a chain reaction as it would test out his perception skills. The rope that was cut retracted to the direction of its end as it slip off a hook that was tied to a small wooden box. As it slipped off the hook, the hook began to pry open as a group of shuriken began to take flight into his direction. Blaize took special care in listening on the moves of the shuriken; he did not know how many where coming, but he knew he had to do something. He listened to the general sound and area the shuriken was coming from. It seemed that it was coming from one direction. He began to reach into his pouch as began to retrieve some shuriken. He then started to throw them at the direction of the shuriken and then snapped his fingers as his hands and legs began to engulf in flames. He heard some of the shuriken deflect with each other but then he heard two shuriken continuing to make force. With his only other option he sent the flames from his hands to the direction to deflect the oncoming shuriken before they would make contact two him. In mere seconds the shuriken’s sound stopped coming to his direction as the sound of two shuriken hitting the ground.
While that was happening the rope continued to travel to meet the ending side of itself as it latched out another hook. This time the hook did not latch open, at least not yet. The rope continued to follow the path to where the end rope was located. By this time it was evident, at least if one can see, that it was going towards a circular direction. As the rope then unhooked itself from a second hook and this time both the unopened box and the new box opened as bells started to chime. The chime was to test his perception in vision. Within one of the box there was a chime that was different than the others, slower, and appeared to be subtle. If you would have to think, the sounds would go as. Box One and Two: Ding Ding Ding Ding Box Two: After a certain number of Dings a faint faint ding rings right after the ending of a ding and before the start of the next one.
Blaize listened out as he started to focus on his hearing. He could hear the ding vibrations of the two boxes as he waited to try to hear where the faint ding was coming from. In earlier attempts he was able to get it right but the problem is was the speed. With the training on how to catch it, increased not only his time but his trust in him as well. When the third ding sounded he heard the faint ding in the first box and that was his cue. He took out a kunai from his holster and threw it in the direction of the sound as it hit the music box and then the music from box one stopped. When box one stopped so did the second one. The two boxes have been triggered in which if a person shuts off the one box with the faint sound, so will the second box.
As that was over the third and final obstacle awaited him. The rope was almost done reaching its end as it was attached to another hook, to another box. One would wonder what this one would bring. As it unlatched itself from the hook the box started to open as the sounds of rope or something was exiting the box and heading in three different directions towards the three other boxes that Blaize had to deal with before. The strings, that were visible to the naked eye and not Blaize, entered each box and when they did the box open a secret compartment and then when it opened all of the boxes shout out shuriken and kunai’s in each cardinal direction. The sounds could have been heard from all directions, as Blaize did not have much of a choice on what to do. His mentor watched on and sees how this challenge would have been conquered. As the weapons was coming his way, Blaize started to make some hand signs and extended his arm out as he controlled the wind around him. When the weapons became close he stopped them all within their tracks before they could get to him. Blaize had now stopped the threat of the four boxes. His mentor looked on and smirked.
He flickered from his positioned, as Blaize started to look into the direction he flickered from as he then sense the ending of the flicker to be above him, as he sensed his mentor. He looked up as he focused his jutsu to return all of the weapons into the above direction that his mentor was now located. As the weapons rose to his mentor’s direction, his mentor smiled and used the substitution jutsu to avoid the attack. When the attack made it took him, he poofed and there a log took the blow of the ninja weapons. In a few moments he flickered back to his old spot and was about to speak, until Blaize sensed he was back and used his flames from his feet and sent them into the direction of his mentor. To his surprise, he did not know that was going to happen and then got caught by the flames and the sudden attack made him sent back a few steps onto the floor. When he was on the floor he then spoken to him. “I think your training has been complete, good job”
At the end of those words the area started to change to a different scenery. It was similar in make except it was night time, and the feel of a different land was now within Blaize’s mind. He was now in the Moon Country Training before his match as he began to set up the boxes like his mentor did before him. He started to take the blind fold as he started to pick them up and observe them. With his smile he spoken, “Training Continued”
