| So I thought up a secenario here and I was wondering if it was possible. An Uchiha clan member, Jounin, Three-tomoe sharingan has the specialties of Genjutsu and Taijutsu. And they experience an A-rank Ninjutsu being performed, hand seals and all. Is it possible to copy that ninjutsu despite not being specialized in ninjutsu or any other specialty not related to the user's?
I don't think its a matter of can he or can't he, since Kakashi managed to master 4 elements save for wind in his life time, and Sasuke not being particularly known for his Taijutsu managed to copy lee's Leaf Shadow Dance, and eventually his whole taijutsu style.
Basically is it allowed or not? |

| Good question.
My opinion. It should be allowed, however take half the chakra cost of the technique and add that to its cost. So if it costs 20 CP to use, you take 10, add it. It now takes 30 CP to use for your character who is copying it. |

- Name: Sharingan Shaji | Sharingan Copying
Rank: E-S Type: Doujutsu Range: - Requires: At least Two-Tomoe Description: Sharingan Shaji is a technique used by members of the Uchiha clan have have acquired at least Two-Tomoe in each of their Sharingan. This ability allows the user to copy a persons technique after seeing it once and perform it themselves. Any technique can be copied but it must be of equal rank or below of the user and cannot be bloodline based. Multiple techniques can be copied, but the copier is only able to repeat the technique solely in his/her thread. Thus the copied technique is not permanently gained by the user. Chakra Cost: Dependent on Copied Technique According to the description, yes. You are able to copy any technique that has been thrown at you but you do not learn the technique once the topic is over. The technique must also be of equal rank or below. So whether it be tai, nin, gen, fuuin or weaponry, you can still copy it as long as it's your rank or below. |

| Ah ok that clears things up, but why isn't a technique learned permanently? Is it because it has to be trained afterwards, or is copying techniques and adding it to your arsenal simply not allowed? |

| It's simply not allowed. Imagine if you performed a custom A - Rank technique that you worked your butt off to master, you perform it in front of me and I learn it within a matter of seconds. It's not really fair is it? So to make it all balanced, you can copy it but once the topic is over, you've forgotten how to perform it but are still able to train for it.

| Ohhhh yea of course, I wouldn't mind training for it. I just thought it was impossible to obtain it for a second there. Alrighty, thanks Silver and Suijin. |
