The young Genin ventured out of his room early in the morning, planning to go utilize the training equipment that was placed into his hotel room. He had not gotten use to Moon Country yet, nor this room but he was enjoying his time here none the less. After passing the first round of the tournament with flying colours Sakumo had to ensure he was in tip top shape when it came to the next round because as each round went on one could only assume the opponents would get tougher. Letting his shinobi instincts kick in Sakumo gathered his thoughts and decided to take action. Approaching the training room Sakumo prepared the room to his liking, setting up an onslaught of spinning wooden training dummies that had numerous appendages ready to knock the Aburame off his feet. The Genin set them into motion at different speeds to make sure it would be difficult to master this newly designed obstacle course of pain. Receiving a few blows from this inanimate wooden dummies would surely batter and bruise the other shinobi if he wasn’t cautious, but he knew doing manoeuvring this room slow wasn’t the goal, he needed to do it has quickly as possible.

It didn’t take long for him to build up the courage to undergo the course for the first time, immediately stepping forward and ducking a quick paced dummy before jumping over a lower sweeping arm, making his way through two or three more posts before copping an arm to the chest which sent him flat on his back, which coincidentally ensured no more would hit him, utilizing this time to take a breather. Sakumo remained back down in the supine position while he collected his breath and recovered from the blow. Quickly kipping up at exactly the right moment, allowing him to position himself perfectly dodging another two arms before he was back on his feet in a crouching position, launching him forward through multiple posts and rolling across the floor until he was in the crouching position once more, quickly standing up and moving left and right as he dodged another three oncoming wooden arms before pulling off yet another acrobatic move flip over higher arms before landing and then completely an aerial cartwheel.

Sakumo was reaching the end of the obstacle course which was on the far side of the training room, so he got a little ahead of himself and tried to get fancy, which wasn’t in something he would usually do. As he ducked and dodged past another half a dozen dummies he launched himself high into the air and performed a double front flip before landing on the far side of the room, however he didn’t quite nail the landing and became unbalanced as he wobbled back and forth until he stumbled two little steps back and got struck by an arm in the back of the head.

Knocking him forward to the wall he was safe for the moment but his right hand and instinctively grasped the back of his head in an attempt to stop the pain, squeezing his eyes shut and grunting momentarily as he rubbed the sore spot. Taking yet another break from the obstacle course before he turned back around to the course he had just ran through and was preparing to do so again. This time he would ensure he didn’t get hit, in fact he promised himself he wouldn’t. Taking a deep breath in, Sakumo ran at the course, leaping forward as he spiralled through a tiny gap through the course, taking on an almost capoeira type of style as he performed various acrobatic and aerial moves through the courses until he reached the other side without having to withstand a single blow.

Sakumo smiled at the accomplishment happy he had done so successfully, however he had not finished just yet as he would run the course for a few hours more completing it with ease and more skill each time he ran the course. By the end of the day the exhausted Aburame Genin collapsed on the bed of his hotel room, happy with what he had achieved hoping to put this newly developed skill to good use in future battles to come.
