Round Two | Match Two - [Blaize vs Ogatami]

Ogatami Ekiguchi vs Blaize Ryuzaki

It was the second day of the tournament and like the first, the weather was simply excellent. A stunning sun that perched itself high above the sky and released pleasant light through the clouds that drifted leisurely with the summer wind. The sheer energy of the people chanting outside the stadium gave birth to the sound of trumpets that echoed across the entire stadium, signaling the great doors to open and release of flood of viewers into the stands. People from various countries, villages, and of course Moon Country flowed from the entrance in a near endless quantity, all sharing the same desire to witness the spectacular event that was about to take place. Within minutes the stadium was fully occupied with cheering spectators and with another segment of a trumpet resonance the entrance doors closed in a final slam. Members of the tournament's faculty began materializing inside the arena grounds, the proctor himself wearing a black suited attire and a full medical unit wearing their white coated uniform. On the highest tier of the stadium a great bang was heard, and instantly silence was summoned inside the stadium. Lord Yoshiyuki, Moon Countries divine authority and political leader had made entrance into the stadium. His long flowing blue and golden robe and pure diamond accessories stood testament to his high status within the nation he held within his entire hands. His skin was glowing with the steady excitement brewing within his flesh, and his long red hair flowing like the fiery satin that it could easily replicate. Beside him were two robust and stern bodyguards that not only emitted an energy of authority but also had a posture of humbleness and care for their leader. Upon him seeing the faces of his beloved citizens and visitors, Lord Yoshiyuki was glad that he adopted the festivities of the Summer Festival within his own home and welcomed the ninja of Konohgakure and even other nations to participate in his tournament that would rattle the ninja world and will strengthen the alliance between Konoha and Moon Country.

He looked down at the giant arena located within the heart of the stadium and viewed it's contents in pure vanity of his landscaping talent. It was fifty meters in diameter with ten meter stone walls around it's perimeter. The terrain was mostly composed of low cut grass although there were other instruments placed to enhance the setting. Eight large 15ft pillars were located in a octagonal formation around the arena's edges in the grass terrain, each holding a large bowl of burning wood at it's top providing a source of fire. Around the perimeter of the arena was a ring of fresh water that divided the grassy landmass and the walls by a few meters except for the small area where the contestants walk though. Being at a near endless depth, it can provide the competitors with a source of water if they're near the edges of the ring. Overall the stadium was neat, simple, and decorative and would surely be enough to supply the fighters with the tools necessary to display their talents.

Lord Yoshiyuki made his way toward the edge of his balcony, letting his natural luminescence filter through the stadium. His bodyguards mimicked his actions like a pair of drones, standing a few feet at each side of him. By pumping chakra into this throat it allowed him to project his voice loud enough to be heard throughout the entire stadium with clarity. "The second match of the second round begins now!" He announced which exhilarated the crowd. While the crowd stridently applauded to his words he waited for them to calm down before continuing. "This match's competitors will be Blaize of the Ryuzaki Clan and Ogatami of the Ekiguchi Clan!" The crowd applauded at in a light frequency which will last until both competitors meet within the field. Lord Yoshiyuki sat down on his giant golden chair and peered at the field with crossed legs. The medical unit disbanded into the stands and the proctor flickered himself in the center of the field where the two competitors will meet. The bell rang and the doors opened on each side of the field. Ogatami entered from the south, and Blaize from the north, and they approached each other until they were five meters apart in the center. With a quick "Begin!" from the proctor, he instantly flickered out of the arena, and the match had begun.

-This exam is on a three day post requirement, if you fail to post in three days after your opponent you are automatically disqualified.
-You are the only two who are permitted to post here.
-This exam does not have a competition date, as I said, it's a three day post requirement so we expect it done quickly, if it continues due to continuous dodging, I'll proctor it like I'm supposed to and come to a conclusion.
-If you exit the ground floor you will be disqualified, by no means should you harm the audience, you can however use the wall as a weapon or a surface to run on.
-Be elaborate with your jutsu, explain it. Don't confuse your opponent, all jutsu are required to be attached at the bottom of a thread via a quote or a spoiler, it is not to be messy.
-All standard roleplaying rules apply.
-This is the first time you have heard of your opponent, unless you have met them in character before.
-If you are in a death situation and you obviously don't wish to be killed, you can RP a medic coming to your rescue although that will automatically get you disqualified.

It was the second round of the tournament and Ogatami was pumped! A few days ago he had his first match with a kunoichi with exceptional abilities which he secretly admired. Her abilities involving the manipulation of the magnetic field opened his mind up to new variables to his own ability which made him stronger in the process. It seemed as though each match would teach him something new, something that would benefit him in the long run. He stayed within the temples on the fourteenth floor and the hotel service was pretty amazing. They offered him food and medicine, anything he would need to prepare him for the next match. Being a comical young fellow he played off the victim nicely despite being literally an inch away from killing his last opponent. He'd got plenty of rest and on king mattress and ate well to prepare him for this day. He would only hope that his opponent did the same, because he was about to fight a champion.

It was almost the same case scenario as his last fight in almost all aspects. He stood behind the southern golden gate with his arms crossed into his chest. The crowd cheered all around him from the stands which made him smile in delight. It was good to hear encouragement from so many people, despite the fact that it was simply for entertainment. In all honestly Ogatami didn't mind being seen as just an entertainer, in the end he would be the victor and would receive his rewards. Upon patting down his clothing and equipment to make sure everything was there, the gates had opened, and it was time to start. "Sweet," he thought while straitening himself up. He strolled through the field until meeting the other boy in the center. Blaize is what the announcer called him, what kind of name was that? Appearance wise he was a rather common folk with brown hair and blue eyes. Ogatami however was his somewhat of his counterpart in that category, he possessed stunning magenta eyes, tan skin and red hair, and to top it off he wore a purple attire. He didn't greet the lad, only smiled and tossed a small wave in his direction. As the proctor prepared to initiate the fight, he placed his hands behind him.

The "Begin!" from the proctor was also the beginning of Ogatami's onslaught. He performed a short sequence of hand seals behind his back which Blaize would be incapable of seeing. From his Izanami, music was played and chanted the power of Ogatami's Genjutsu. Instantly the world around Blaize changed as white lotuses stormed around him, blocking his vision from view. With his Geijutsu, Ogatami pitched the sound to were it could deafen Blaize. Now rendered blind and deaf, he would be subjective to Ogatami's attacks. However if he possessed heightened levels of perception, he would have better clarity of the illusion, but incapable of fulling reading Ogatami's attacks. With his hand, Ogatami formed a seal and summoned two illusionary clones that also vanished within the lotuses.

Ryuzaki Blaize was checking everything to make sure he had what he needed. It was the next round of the tournament and Blaize could not have been more excited. The moon country was a land he has not visited before. He did remember hearing that this country, or near the lands, was the birthplace of the Ryuzaki Clan. Although it was during the words of his father’s friend, he did not know much more about this land. As he was getting his gear wrapped together he began to think about how good it would be if he was able to search this country to documents or anything leading to the Ryuzaki clan. He wondered if being here poses some type sign. I mean a clan that formed near the lands of the moon country, here, where his father’s friend has told them that the clan has been disbursed around the five great nations. Was there someone else in this clan here? Someone besides Blaize and Kyo, who were they? Where were they? Are they observing this match? To tell the truth he had no time to be worrying about these things his match was coming up next. He checks his tools and his two string kunai that was hidden within each arm. He also took note that three of his kunai had tags already attached to them. Not to mention his potassium bombs on each side of his jacket. They were closed up in his jacket to make sure that they would not have fallen during combat. He started to collect himself as he had the same equipment and arsenal as the match before him except one other item.

This item was his katana, the one he left on the hotel bed prior to the last battle. He did not use it, for the fact that he just did not want to, but he had a feeling he should bring the katana with him. I mean you have to you everything that you have for battle, and this was one of those things. He placed the katana behind him and around his waist. Located near his belt loops, is where he resided his katana. When he checks the time and noticed it was time to leave, he took his fingerless gloves and put them on. As he gripped them tight, he made his way to the door and left to head for the stadium for the next battle.

The stadium had a familiar vibe to it. It was almost the same thing as the first round except fewer members. His next watch was going to be a tougher battle, for the fact that his opponent already beat up his prior opponent to get into the same position Blaize was in. In the last round, Blaize almost went as far as to kill a shinobi because of his kkg ability to transfer pain to himself to his opponent. If it was not for the fact that the medics arrived, there could have been a possibility that his opponent would have been killed, hell if the KKG worked as he thought it did, worst case scenario Blaize would not be alive at this time. The sounds and cheer of the stadium inflicted the whole area as Blaize was called to be escorted to his entrance. For the reason that the officials wanted everyone to go back to their hotel rooms, no it really was to keep them away from the stadium, the winners did not get a chance to see their opponent in actions. It was not until after the first rounds did he noticed that he was not going to get an edge.

“It must be for the reason that they want to keep this match as fair as possible. If that is the case I’ll have barely any intel on the shinobi I am about to face. For this reason I need to keep up to my own style and strategy until I find his weakness. Since this is the second round, I won’t have as much time as I want. I must not forget that he is stronger than my last opponent or else he would not be standing in the same position as I am. For now keep it calm, keep it smart.”

As he thought to himself the doors began to swing open as the person from the moon country already made the introductions of the two people facing. The crowed filled the air as he began to walk to the center, just as he did before. He took a quick glance around and from what he could tell it was exactly the same field as the one he had before him. This was a good sign for the reason that he would be able to use one of the pillars if he needed to in this round. He looked at his opponent trying to analyze him the best and quickest way possible. He was a Konoha genin just like himself. His outfit did not give away much except for the fact that he is an interesting character none the less. As they met in the center the two of them were a good five meters away from each other. Blaize was a good four to five meters from the pillar behind him. Just where he wants to be.

He kept his eyes on the boy as the boy gave him a small wave. A simple gesture none the less, Blaize nodded to him the greeting. As he placed his hands down and the proctor began to look at the two, Blaize noticed that his hands went behind his back. [color:b5c9=dark red] “Hmmm... Interesting…alright stick to the plan.” As soon as the proctor hear the word “Begin” the match was on and the first moves were underway. Blaize began to jump back in the air and away from the center. As he was gaining distance and air he began to take out something from his pocket. It was his potassium bomb. He began to throw it down to his opponent as he reached his peak and landed a few feet next to pillar. As the bomb landed to the ground it would create an explosion of fire that is two meters wide. The explosion of fire would then begin to twist itself and create a tornado that is about four feet high. While the bomb was used first, the pillar was the key to his opening move. As he landed He kept his eyes on the boy as he took out a kunai out of his holster and then began to run backwards up the pillar. While keeping his eyes focused on the boy he snapped his fingers as flames engulfed his hands. He transferred the a portion of the fire from his hand into the kunai and then he threw his kunai in the direction of the fire. He wanted to test the boy out as well as to get to the top of the pillar to reach the basin. As he threw his kunai he hoped to have it reach the flame. If it did that would mean that he would be able to control the mini tornado flame. He had to admit it was almost like déjà vu, like the last match but with a little twist. “I don’t know what your plan is with not letting me see what you are up to. As for me, I need to figure out how you tick so I can take you down, although this would only buy me just a few moments to get an analyzes through.”
