| Looks like a bit of labeling theory going on in some respects. If they government want to say the UK has a "youth problem" then that is what the generation is going to think of themselves as and react in a deviant way. Even though they have tried with certain funding when you cut out apprenticeship programs altogether and slash youth development by something like 50-75%, then surely, you can't be helping yourself? |

| The youth will always be stereotyped as hooligans or argumentative people, I doubt we young folk will be able to get rid of this branded name any time soon. Besides, it's not just the younger population that police are suspecting. It's now becoming a race crime as people are beginning to grow more and more wary of the black and muslim community in the UK. Just pure discrimination now. In fact, one black resident actually stated how she was embarrassed to be black due to the bad name that the media is giving them. I've just found out that Cameron is placing the water canon on stand by and also considering rubber bullets, he's finally made a right decision, huzzah!
