Just wanted to point out that the following jutsu is horribly overpowered, especially since it's only a C rank. There doesn't seem to be any limit (except for range), there is no apparent way out of the jutsu, whether from inside or outside, and if it's a 1vs1 situation, then it seems like a sure win to me. I only realised this because I came into contact with a person of the Kessho clan... and fortunately, it is a social, not full-on combat topic.

Name: Suishō Rō | Jade Crystal Prison
Rank: C
Type: Ninjutsu
Range: Close (0m - 5m)
Element: Shōton (Crystal Release)
Description: Suishō Rō is a technique used by the members of the Kessho clan. The user summons crystalizes the space around a target completely encase a single target in crystal. If the crystal is shattered, the victim disintegrates along with the crystal particles.
Chakra Cost: 8CP

I have to agree. I just spent 5 minutes looking this over, and given the wording it is a sure hit move. I know it isn't, but if people go strictly by the description, it is.

Now, based on the technique, I'm assuming that there will be shards around the opponent that appear that give them time to dodge or evade the attack because it is, in essence, like Gaara's sand coffin which is easily avoided if you word the dodge right. The difference here is this just, since it is crystal, would be harder to see.

The jutsu is C-Rank because it is based off of the Sand Coffin jutsu, so that's why that is like that.

With the last line however, it should easily be A-Rank, because that line states that the crystal doesn't just create a prison around the opponent like water prison or sand coffin, but would in fact become part of the opponents body. If something like Ice Prison was used, then yes, I could see the disintegrating taking place because the opponents body would be frozen so fast it would be extremely brittle. Keep in mind that frost bitten limbs just snap off instead of bending.

The above effect couldnt take place because it would essentially god mod the crystalline effect, which is based off the users chakra and essentially IS the user's chakra (because it would be crystal chakra, just like there is hyouton chakra, fire chakra, etc). Based on that, unless it is direct contact by someone with exceptional chakra control and the ability to know where the chakra points are on the opponent through excessive training (Hyuuga or Med nin), or having a Bijuu (shown by Naruto when he attacks Sakura), you cant implant your chakra into the other persons system. The opponents chakra would act like a immunity system, and counter and destroy the small amounts of chakra that would try and enter through the tenketsu.

Thanks for pointing this out and thanks for your feedback Caranore, the staff have taken this into consideration and we have reworded it so that it will not kill you once the crystal has been broken. It seems that during the creation process of the clan, the technique description must have slipped our minds but thanks for pointing it out to us and we'll be sure to correct any future errors. I'm considering this topic, solved.
