Kanashibari no Jutsu

Staring blankly into the eyes of a captured pigeon, he had taken the feathery creature as a prisoner for some time now. It was already midday and he was still struggling to perfect a technique that he was required to learn as an ANBU Trainee. It was a simple technique at that, one that would allow any user to strike fear into their target and cause them to actually freeze in their position. Not only did it allow a safe capture but it also allowed the user to perform a follow up attack. Yet Kojin was struggling to gain absolute control over the Jutsu, all he was able to do was force the pigeon to stop flapping it's wings and not freeze it's entire body.

Taking what remaining chakra he had left, he would draw all of it into his mind so that he could perform this ninjutsu technique without fail. After initiating his hands into the required handseals, he would quickly end with the tiger handseal, a symbol which allowed greater control over chakra. After some time of staring at the opponent, or the pigeon, it slowly seemed to decrease it's constant fidgeting and would soon simply stop, as if it was dead. Yet as he placed a finger on the small creatures chest, he was able to discover that the heart was still beating, quite rapidly at that. The chakra had seemed to successfully enter the targets mind and overwhelm them, causing the paralysis to take effect. Concluding it as a sign of success, he would cancel the effects of the technique and allow the pigeon to rapidly flutter it's wings so that it could depart from the empty field.
