| So from the recent problem of Kija's death. A suggestion comes to me.
When a member becomes non-responsive in a topic in which is death is ensured. A moderator should then step in and cause "Random death!" This death would be completely based on luck, not anyone character or player. The character could be crushed by an unseen boulder or a fallen tree. The list is expansive. Pretty simple stuff. Solves the problems right? |

| Not exactly... what if the point of killing them was to keep the body in tact or if the 'random death' changes things in RP. Like if someone was supposed to kill a target in order to rank up or something and their sensei didn't consider that really them doing it. Just sounds unsatisfactory in some situations. |

Then the situation could be changed obviously. However it should be done by a moderator regardless. |

| Well, of course it could be changed. Still though, it would just be silly in some situations. Then there's always the possibility that the 'random death' system works in the 'dying' players favor. Then what would happen? |

Then there is always a chance of that. Maybe things happen you know? You have to take into effect that you might not be the perfect killer and instead of leaving a body intact like you needed it to be, it was burned to a crisp? Things happen, sometimes stuff gets screwed up. Its the facts of life. This is a pretty clear solution to what appeared to be a rather "Major" problem. |

| But in that case it would be unfair to the person doing the killing. I mean, that's like a giant middle finger after all the work they went through to do things right and be foiled by someones inability to post. I just think that'd create more problems. Not as 'serious' problems, since the event would in fact be resolved, but they would be more like petty flame war problems that just lead to more arguing. |

Too bad? I mean, if the person is too cowardly to post then its kind of fair to the person doing the killing anyway. And they could [most likely] not be foiled. It wouldn't create more problems, flame wars wouldn't happen since the moderators posting could do it from the US account and no one would know who actually wrote it up. The character is dead what more can you ask for? For your character to brutally maim and completely devour his body? I mean come on, let him have an honest death, if they fail to post, they die. You killed them, congrats. [: |

| Just bumping this topic so it may be solved.
Regarding Non-Responsive Members that their characters are facing death, we cannot simply have a random death - it is neither realistic nor practical. Sadly, there will be RPers that refuse to post merely because they don't want their characters to die. When it comes to situations like this, if multiple dates have past, the person has been contacted and told to respond - and they have a) received the PM, b) have been around the sit and approached in the c-box - and they do not have a reason for not posting, then the RPer will then be skipped, and whoever is next to post may kill of the character.
This is the fastest way to resolving disputes like this, and allowing those members that have worked hard to gain that win or kill feel like they have, in fact, won their battle or fight.
