TAKAHASHI, GANTA.THE INFO. Name: Ganta Takahashi
Nickname: Ganta
Age: 15
Gender: Male
Appearance: Ganta is 6ft, and weighs in at 180lbs. He has black hair shaggy hair which hangs down almost past his eyes. His eyes are black, and right under his right eye is a cut from a falling tree branch. He also has one on the lower left corner of his lips, but is very small and almost invisible. His skin is pretty soft which is unusual for some guys, and is a bit pale. On his back he has a scar which runs from his right shoulder to his left hip. He doesn't even know how he got that one so he thinks it was from when he was younger. He has a number of different clothing that he wears, the most common one being the black shirt with the Uzimaki symbol on the back. Along with black pants, and open toe sandals. He also has a black shirt with just two buttons which he wears with his black pants sometimes to. He sometimes wear's black pants, a grey undershirt with a white jacket over it. The most common way he wears that though is the jacket around his waste. His last suit is a dark green jump suit with black lines on it, and the hidden leaf village symbol on it.
Personality: He is usually calm and silent around others he doesn't know to well. When it's a friend he can become very nice and pretty talkative. He is funny, and especially loves little children. Ganta try's to be a happy person, but doesn't always succeeds at this. At times he can have a very blank expression, like one of someone who doesn't care about anything or anyone. This happens when he see's little kids and their family's together reminding him that he has no real family. In a way you can say he's a bit unstable, but most wouldn't know since he only went off one time in front of everyone. He doesn't go off easily, but when the pressure builds up he has no choice but to explode. This happens when others arn't listening to their superior's, or if someone says the wrong things about him.

Combat Style: Ganta isn't much of a fighter at all, but he is very skilled at it. Taijustu is one of his strong points, and though he is good at it he would rather not fight head to head in a battle. He uses medical justu to try and mess with their movements, and chakra lines. He also uses poison on his weapons, and would rather fight as back up than be the one to be up in the front lines. He would rather fight hiden in an allies ninjustu or his own keeping his movements hidden than to have his movements seen. He hates having to waste to much energy, and chakra in a battle, and likes to end them fast.

Being trained in the art of utilizing poison in either medication of assassination, a ninja uses that knowledge to heighten their own immune system if ever faced with a poison or pathogen. Those with this characteristic are now immune to C-Ranked poisons.
THE BACKGROUND. History: Ganta is like most other normal teens his age, or almost. He has a job, and he has friends. He has a hobby, and is into the opposite gender. The only thing he doesn't have is memmory's from when he was younger than ten. It was as if his entire first ten years were taken away from him. Most people memory starts around three years old but for him it didn't start when he was ten. Doctor's didn't see why he had no memory from when he was ten and younger they think it was some kind of shutdown and that he didn't want to remember his first couple of years. Three years later he learned he was from the Takahashi Clan when he was in the middle of training, and he pushed himself past his limit. That's when his doujustu activated, and discovered his abilities. He then went to some of the clans members to figure out if they knew why he didn't remember the first ten years of his life. None knew about him or even heard his name mentioned in the clan. He is still trying to figure out his origins, and remember who exactly is he. Lately however he's been starting to care less about who he really is and more about who he will become. The two years following he was more focussed on protecting what he believed in, and becoming strong enough to do that. He wanted to become strong enough to protect the village and the people inside it.
Though he can be calm and nice though, he does happen to have a dark side. It's not entirely easy to anger him, and have him snap in front of people due to him usually holding it in, but his temper is like a gyeser. It builds up until there is to much pressure and it explodes. One time in school when he was angry with the class for them not listening to the teacher and being to loud he heard someone saying the wrong words. They were talking about him behin his back so he snapped. He attacked them, and put them in the hospital for two weeks.
Roleplay Sample: Ganta sat on the edge of a cliff as the sun began to go down. He was wearing his black shirt with the Uzimaki symbol on the back. He had on his black pants, and open toe sandals with a butt bag filled with standard ninja tools. He also had a Gas Mask sitting on top of his head, and a Buckler Shield on his back. Behind him thirty meters was a forest which lead to the road into the Hidden Leaf village. And below him was the Hidden Leaf Village itself, about two miles away. He had been looking over the village trying to remember who he was, and where he came from. Was he even from this village? And where were his parents? He lived alone so he didn't know anything about his parents. "I should get back to work" he said remembering he was suppose to be on patrol. He pressed the button on his Mic to radio in, and see if anyone had spotted an enemy soldier or found a hurt civilian. "Anything new team three?" he said releasing the button.
No one responded so he tried again "Team three are you there? Respond please." Still no response came. "What's going on..." he stood up, and began to walk into the woods when a kunai suddenly appeared from the woods aimed to hit him in the head. Ganta ducked below it just enough for it to let it pass over his head. He was out in the open and had no where to run and hide. And his opponent was obviously hiding in the tree line watching him. He was certain to be gone, until they enemy felt a bit cocky, and all three of them walked into the open. They had the lightning village symbol on their headbands, and had masks that covered their face. Each of them had a short sword on their back, and looked to be about Chunin ranked. They didn't even say a word, and charged at Ganta without thinking, and giving him a chance to speak.
Ganta formed the correct handseals, and from behind him thousands of crows began to appear multiplying creating even more crows. They all flocked the shinobi blocking their view, and attacking and Ganta hid inside of the flock. 'I'll take out the middle one first' he thought to himself as he charged the middle shinobi. He took off his shield and hit the shinobi hard in the head to knock them out. He then turned around throwing it at the head of the shinobi on the rights head knocking them out to. The shield bounced off, and came back to his hand and Ganta turned around to hit the next shinobi in the head. But this one was wiser, and saw through it blocking with their sword. The crows all poofed into smoke, and Ganta hid in the tree line. The shinobi seemed to know that he hid there, and decided to burn the forest using the Fireball Justu. It had missed, but his cover was slowly being burned away. That's when Ganta took two Kunai with explosive tags attached to it and threw it at him.
He would use the explosion as a smoke screen, and also hope that it would catch the shinobi. The shinobi had used an earth style just Earth Wall to be exact to stop the explosion from reaching them. However their vision was now cut off, and Ganta quickly ran around the wall forming the correct handseals, and slamming their hand on the ground. An electrical current traveled through the ground shocking the shinobi for a brief momment. Ganta then took out a kunai with some wire, and threw it into the wall then ran around the shinobi in circles tieing them up. Not to long after other leaf shinobi appeared after seeing the explosions, smoke, and fire. Along with them came some AnBu shinobi who would then take care of what would happen to these intruders.

Name: Konoha Dai Senpuu - Leaf Great Whirlwind Rank: C Type: Taijutsu Range: Close (0m - 5m) Element: N/A Description: A series of kicking attacks, starting from a low kick and linking into a middle kick and high kick then finishing off with a heel drop. As the rotation speed picks up the user gains buoyancy, which they use to shift into gradually higher attacks. Chakra Cost: 5
Name: Konoha Kage Buyou - Leaf Shadow Dance Rank: C Type: Taijutsu Range: Close (0m - 5m) Element: N/A Description: Konoha Kage Buyou is a Taijutsu technique that is used to position a ninja's opponent into a vulnerable aerial position. The ninja will first quickly appear below their opponent, then with a switch upper kick they will launch their target into the air. The ninja will then jump into the air to "shadow" the target with the target's back to their chest. This move is used before preforming "Omote Renge - Front Lotus" or "Shishi Rendan - Lion Combo". Name: Konoha Shoufuu - Leaf Rising Wind Rank: C Type: Taijutsu Range: Close (0m - 5m) Element: N/A Description: This jump uses the entire body as a spring by amassing power in the legs before kicking upwards. Because the power of the kick from the ground is instantly converted into a blow, the enemy hit with this attack will be launched high into the sky. Chakra Cost: 5
Name: Shishi Rendan - Lion Combo Rank: C Type: Taijutsu Range: Close (0m - 5m) Element: N/A Description: The user first uses the "Konoha Kage Buyou - Leaf Shadow Dance" to manuever his/hrt opponent in a vulnerable aerial position. While shadowing his/her opponent, the user will attempt to strike them from a vulnerable angle. If he/she is unable to make a clean strike, he/she will strike anyway as a feint, to draw his/her target's attention and defense to one area. The user can then strike the undefended area and begin knocking them downwards towards the ground. As the enemy falls back to the earth, the user will deftly rotate his/her body around to deliver a full force kick to their chest. Chakra Cost: 7
Name: Sennen Goroshi - One Thousand Years of Death Rank: D Type: Taijutsu Range: Close (0m) Element: - Description: Though it is called "Leaf's Ancient Supreme Technique", Sennen Goroshi serves more as an insulting shock technique rather than a skilled Taijutsu technique. The ninja forms their hands into the seal of the tiger, and then jabs their fingers into the nether regions of their target. The result is shocking violation of the targets sanctity and often their launching in the air to stop the awkward feeling. Chakra Cost: 3
Name: Chimei-teki Fera - Fatal Blow Rank: C Type: Taijutsu Range: Close (0m) Element: - Description: Chimei-teki Fera is a taijutsu technique. After charging a small amount of chakra towards the dominant leg, the user will try to use their speed and strength so that they can perform a sideways kick to the opponents ribcage. In order for direct contact to be made the shin, where most of the chakra is stored, will hit the centre of the ribcage forcing a shock wave of pain to make it's way across the body. If the technique is performed correctly, they will be able to force their opponent to the ground and possibly even stop them from being able to stand back up. Chakra Cost: 7
Name: Bureijinguhitto - Blazing Hit Rank: D Type: Nin / Taijutsu Range: Close (0m) Element: Katon Description: Bureijinguhitto is a ninjutsu and taijutsu combination utilizing the fire element. By charging a small amount of chakra to the dominant fist, the user is able to ignite their hand so that it's enveloped in a glove of fire. By delivering a punch to their opponent, the user is able to add on a burning effect to the location that has been hit. The fire will only be visible on the top of the hand, covering the top of the fingers, knuckles and hand. Chakra Cost: 3

Name: Gas Mask-TypeA Rank: D Type: Accessory Quantity: 1 Description: A mask that covers the entire face in order to keep them from breathing in toxic fumes. It has two holes where the eyes would be covered with a glass so they can still see. Where the mouth and nose would be there are two cylinder's that point down diagonally on each side. This extracts the oxygen in the air and only the oxygen to keep the user breathing. The other cylinder extracts the air you breath out of the mask into the outside world.
Poison Name: Instant Poison Rank: C Poison Description: The poison works as the name would suggest. After coming into contact with the bloodstream, the poison travels through it until reaching the brain, where it stimulates the chemicals within it to insight a perception of pain, pulsating a wave of such pain throughout the entire body for a brief moment before ceasing. The pain hits the enemy only once, and then the liquid poison itself becomes harmless. Liquid State: The poison is liquid, and therefor is usually coated on a weapon by a regular user, while Marina Yuki tends to hollow out an ice senbon and fill the empty space with the liquid, allowing injection of the poison when the ice senbon punctures an enemy. Poison Effect(s): Post 0 / The poison enters the bloodstream and begins to make its way towards the brain to create its intended effect. Post 0-3 / The poison reaches the brain via bloodstream and stimulates the chemicals within it to create a body wide perception of pain. The pain is not enough to kill a person, unless they were an inch from death anyway, and causes minor overall damage to the internal body. The victim themselves will feel a sharp pain throughout their body as though they had been pierced through in the stomach, only covering every inch of the body. The pain is technically mental, so little real damage is done. Instead, depending on the victim's willpower, the pain experienced over the time period of about three seconds will usually leave them stunned and open for a follow up attack. The amount of time it takes for the poison to reach the brain depends on the entry point. Head = 0 / Upper body = 1 / Lower Body = 2 / Hand/Foot = 3 Post 1-4 / The poison in the victim's body becomes harmless after the initial pain wave, and no further effects or complications arise.
Poison Name: Debilitation Rank: C Poison Description: This poison targets the chakra system within the body, specifically the chakra points. The poison will spread throughout the body and simultaneously begin to cause the chakra points to inflame. By doing so, the victim must push their chakra harder in order to get the same results as usual. In other words, the more inflamed they become, the more chakra points they must use to produce a single jutsu. The poison is C rank, meaning it is not very concentrated. Because of this, one dose of the poison itself is not enough to clog all of the chakra points much, and especially not entirely. Therefor, multiple dosages administered in close succession is required for the points to become more and more inflamed, until eventually they are clogged completely and jutsu are impossible. Not only that, but inflammation does not last very long, and if left alone, the chakra points will start to heal after some time. Therefor, in order for the effects of the poison to not only worsen, but also to continue, multiple dosages must be administered regularly. This means 10 dosages must be administered with no less than 2 posts between each one for inflammation to reach 100%, where it will become impossible to use chakra and therefor jutsu. Liquid State: This poison was created in a liquid state, and therefor must be injected one way or another. It travels through the blood stream and into target areas because of this. Poison Effect(s): Post 0 / On the post of injection, nothing happens, as the poison is spreading thin throughout the entire body so that it may affect every chakra point at the same time. Post 1 / By this time the poison will have spread through the entire body, and every chakra point will be attacked at the same time. One dose of the poison will cause each chakra point to become 10% inflamed. This will cause the victim to use 10% more chakra for a single jutsu, or the chakra cost of any jutsu used during this post will have its base cost increased by 10%. (For example: A jutsu with a 100 Chakra Cost will cost 10 more CP to perform) Post 2/ The poison itself will have stopped affecting the chakra points in the body, and therefor the inflammation will begin to heal. On this post, the inflammation percentage will remain the same, but the poison will be gone. In order for the inflammation to increase, another dose must be administered by the end of this post at least. Post 3 / If no more poison had been administered by the end of the previous post, the percentage of inflammation of the chakra points will go down by 10%. This process will continue post by post until inflammation reaches 0% once again, assuming no more dosages are administered. If a dose is administered on this post, then inflammation will instantly increase by 10%, but only once, meaning the inflammation percentage present on the previous post will be restored. In essence, this will cause the inflammation to have stayed the same rather than increased. Any dosages administered after the first one on this post will not take affect until the following post, where percentage will increase by another 10% per dose.
Additional Information/Clarification: The percentage of inflammation directly reflects the percentage of base chakra cost increase for a single jutsu use. This means 50% inflammation of the chakra points will cause any jutsu to cost 50% more chakra, and so on. One dose alone will cause an increase of 10% inflammation a post after its injection. Another dose will have to be administered by the end of the second post at the most for inflammation to increase by another 10%. If no dosages were administered by the end of the second post, then inflammation will start to heal and reduce by 10% per post. If a dose is administered sometime during this healing process, then the decrease will stop a post later, and go up by 10% more. This means if the inflammation had been healing from 100% and a dose was administered when it was back down to 50%, by the time the poison attacked the chakra points, it will have dropped down to 40%, and the poison will boost it back up to 50% where it will stay for, at the most, a post longer by itself.

Name: Bunshin no Jutsu • Clone Technique Rank: E Type: Genjutsu Range: N/A Medium: Optical Element: N/A Description: This technique creates identical clones of the user. However, they hold no actual substance and will disperse upon impact of an attack or contact with an opponent. They cannot disrupt the area around themselves with their movements; won’t kick up dust, crush grass, etc. They are simply optical illusions used to momentarily fool others. Chakra Cost: 1CP per 5 clones
Name: Henge no Jutsu • Transformation Technique Rank: E Type: Ninjutsu Range: N/A Element: N/A Description: This technique transforms the user’s appearance to that of another object or person. However, it is not a permanent transformation and a mental image of what they are transformed into. Certain aspects of a ninja will not change merely by transformation, these things may include injuries, tool pocket placements etc. The jutsu will dispel should the user be injured. The user does not gain the properties of their transformation (ie. horse like strength), and may only transform into something ranging between 1/2 of their regular size, to 2x their regular size. Thus one cannot transform into large creatures. Chakra Cost: 1
Name: Kawarimi no Jutsu • Body Replacement Technique Rank: E Type: Ninjutsu Range: 10 meters Element: N/A Description: After performing a tiger seal, this technique allows the user to alter places in a speedy manner with another nearby object. This is done mere seconds before an attack lands, thus making the attacker believe his or her attack was a success. Whatever object was used to alter places will receive the brunt of the enemy’s attack instead. The object that the user switches with must be preset somewhere else in the thread, meaning that the object must have received specific mention previously in the thread. Chakra Cost: 2
Name: Explosive Tag: Activate Rank: E Type: Fuuinjutsu Range: N/A Element: N/A Description: This technique allows the user to activate an explosive tag they have planted somewhere. Preferably they should be within close to mid range and visible to the user. You cannot activate another persons explosive tags unless your chakra has been channeled into them beforehand. Chakra Cost: 1 (per 3 explosive notes)
Name: Kai • Release Rank: D Type: Ninjutsu Range: Close (0m - 5m) Element: N/A Description: By stopping the flow of chakra in their body, and then applying an even stronger power to disrupt the flow of the caster's chakra; the user may dispel the effects of a genjutsu. This can also be used on another individual that is stuck in a genjutsu by preforming the necessary hand seal and then touching them, although it consumes half the chakra cost of the Genjutsu. Chakra Cost: Cost of Genjutsu + 2CP
Name: Nawanuke no Jutsu • Escaping Skill Rank: E Type: Ninjutsu Range: N/A Element: N/A Description: This technique allows the user to free themselves should they be tied up. It is extremely basic. Using their physical training, the user will twist and contort their body to loosen their bindings, effectively relieving themselves of the tightness of their bindings and slipping through the restraints. This technique can only be used if the user is of equal or higher rank than their captor. Chakra Cost: 1
Name: Suimen Hokou no Waza • Act of Water Surface Walking Rank: D Type: N/A Range: N/A Element: NA Description: This technique allows the user to balance themselves on water by focusing a constant and steady stream of chakra to the user’s feet or hands. Because of water’s nature, this requires the user to be quick to adjust the amount of chakra they must emit to their feet in order to maintain a constant balance. Users may also walk, run and “skate” across the water when using this technique. Chakra Cost: 1 (1 per post)
Name: Kinobori no Waza • Act of Tree Climbing Rank: D Type: N/A Range: N/A Element: N/A Description: This technique allows the user to balance themselves on trees and vertical walls by focusing a constant and steady stream of chakra to the user’s feet. Gravity can easy be defined if this technique is mastered, allowing people to even stand upside down. If too much chakra is exerted the user will be pushed away; bark breaking and causing the user to then fall. If not enough chakra is exerted the user will lose their footing and fall. Chakra Cost: 1 (1 per post)

| Hello Ganta, before this can be accepted a few things just need to be edited first. Firstly, don't forget to properly title your topic please. It needs to go, First, Last Name [Village Rank]. Also, if the application is still a work in progress, then it will need to have a [WiP] tag written in the title as well. Your nickname, isn't exactly a nickname unfortunately. It's still just your first name, so it's better that you just leave it blank. Your appearance and personality needs a lot of work placed into it unfortunately, it's current only two or three lines in each and for Genin we expect a minimum of a paragraph each per section. So please expand on your appearance and personality. You could talk about how you wear your clothes, how you body looks, is it tanned etc... For your personality you can expand on if you're a happy person, what makes you upset, is he always looking for a fight etc.. Just be sure to include detail in both please. You only have one specialty listed and everyone is allowed to have two specialties, thus you are free to choose another. The same applies to your elemental affinities, you only have lightning listed right now and you are allowed a maximum of two to start with. If you only choose one then you'll be quite limited when in battle. Also expand slightly more on your combat style please, it could still use some more work. For your history, I'd like to see at least another few sentences or a second paragraph. If you're struggling for ideas then you can talk about Birth, Academy Years and start of Genin Years. You could also resort to the Time Line method if you so wish, to which you basically bullet points part of your life. Concerning your techniques, as you have only listed Medical Ninjutsu for your specialties, that means that you are only allowed to gain techniques that are in Medic Ninjutsu. Meaning you need to get rid of any Ninjutsu, Genjutsu, Taijutsu, Fuuinjutsu or Weaponry Jutsu. You may only learn techniques that are within your specialties and of your rank or below. So please make the according edits. You also need to get rid of a lot of those weapons, once again it's all about specialties. Just be aware, if you wish to learn Ninjutsu techniques then you need to special in Ninjutsu. |

Sorry Ganta, it seems that you misunderstood what I was trying to tell you. By changing the topic title, I mean that you need to edit the actual Topic Title, which is currently named 'Ganta'. So please change it to 'Takahashi, Ganta [Konoha Genin]'.
I still feel you could produce a lot more detailed work on your appearance and personality, since I'm looking at your roleplay sample, I've noticed that you've made a really detailed post and your other sections are lacking this detail. Thus, I'd like to see you place at least two or three more sentences on both of the areas before it can be approved.
Same applies to your combat style, just add another sentence or two please. Also your coding is a bit messed up on there as well, since you have a spare [spoiler] tag, so please make the appropriate edit to get rid of that.
For your arsenal, can you fix up some of the techniques and items that have been given the wrong coding. The sections such as 'Name, Rank, Description etc...' need to be highlighted in bold writing, some of them do not. Also please remove the dagger since you do not specialize in weaponry so you will not be able to use it that well. Have you also received permission from the member who created those poisons? Because if you're going to use someone else's work then you need to message the creator and seek permission before it can be approved. Lastly, the site already offers a Medic Kit so please use that one and not a custom one.

| Just three small things before it can be given the thumbs up. I've noticed that in your personality you mention a part stating how you hit a child during your Academic years, I'd include this in the history rather then the personality. I'd recommend you mention how at times he can be angered quite easily or how he does actually have a violent side. The other part I wish you to work on is to lengthen your combat style more please, you should be writing up at least two or three lines worth of detail in there. Lastly, you mentioned in your History how you have activated your Doujutsu abilities yet it's not within your Arsenal, so please edit that in please or re - write your history. Just make the according edits please and it looks ready to go. |
