The wait till November~

I was inspired by Ms. Britt to do this blog of sorts, so I give my kudos to her and her lovely portrayal of her life.
This how ever will be different and show my not so wonderful wait till the month of November. Why November? As most of y'all know I'm a video game freak, and some pretty amazing games will be coming out that month. So for now, I'll be talking about my experiences with a different game in each post.
With that, my blogging begins!

To say I remembered the day my wait started would be a lie. All I know is that fateful day in which I set my controller down after beating the game started it all. Which game? Assassins Creed Brotherhood. I was waiting for the next game in the franchise.. But where did this odd love start?

When the first game in that franchise came out, my parents deemed me to young to play it. Then I was 12 [it being 2007] and I was indeed angered. What could I do though? So I waited, one year to be exact when i was 13 and some odd months. Then they got me the game, which I played almost nonstop. My eyes were drinking in all the little details, the fantastic soundtrack, everything. I was Hooked the moment I placed that disk in my Ps3. It was a heartbreaking moment in which I finished the game. Why? Simply because there was no sequel! Every so often I would go and replay that game, simply to pass by time and relive those memories.

It was sometime in 2009 when Assassins Creed 2 came out. This time being about 14 I was able to get the game as soon as it hit the shelves. The onslaught of gaming hours began. That familiar sadness set in when I beat the main story line and for a time I set the game aside, content. For some reason though I went back and decided to get every trophy in the game.

Now, I thought I would have to wait ages for another game. My broken heart soared when I heard the news of Assassins creed Brotherhood. With the release of it in 2010 I was happy. This time I wanted to preorder it, much to the dismay of my parents. My birthday was one month before the release [being born in October, the game coming out that November] and all they asked was what I wanted for my presents. I simply told them "The US Special Edition of Assassins Creed Brotherhood". Thankfully the complied and ordered it. My birthday came and went, and I set my sights on that day in November.
I was thrilled when my dad came to visit me and handed over the box in which my beloved resided in. I received a late "Happy Birthday present" but that was completely Fine with me. I rushed in my house and played for countless hours, being lost in all the new features, music, and story. Even the multiplayer was nice.

Around that time it was announced that Assassins Creed Revelations would be coming out. Then the date was set for November 2011, by then I will be 16. I watched all the interviews with the people making it, and read any tidbits that came out. It was the 2011 E3 conference that was the biggest highlight. There I sat glued to the screen, watching the trailer for ACR , simply amazed. Only a few more months!

It's now September.
I thought it would be a simple two month wait before ever playing the game. I was proven wrong. All it took was a simple email from the Ubisoft team that contained my beta code for early access to the multiplayer! I shouted in delight and even did a little happy dance. I wouldn't have to wait as long as I thought. September 3, Saturday it began. I jumped on, entered my code, and began my experience. I sat on the big couch that we have, and pressed buttons for hours on end. I leveled up quickly, won and loss some rounds. And trudging through all the ticks it had. But hey! It is a beta after all.

It's September 15 now around 9:40pm.
I have spent around 4 years of my life , loving, playing, and waiting for the "next" game in the series to launch. And I'm sure [and even hope] that Assassins Creed Revelations will be just as good as it's previous counterparts.
