The dire few left of the Roscin Clan have an undoubtedly notable series of characteristics in that full-blooded members of the clan are 'half-wolf'. Though fur and eye color vary between species, the following facts between Roscin remain true:

All Roscin have a dominant Raiton element in their chakra network
Most Roscin have marks on their body, described as 'lines' of mis-colored or unusual fur, which are an area in which chakra can be more easily focused.
The claws of Roscin hands are retractable. The feet are not.
Roscin ninja have undeniably powerful noses, disregarding rain or the fact that bad scents simply overpower their minds.
Most have a preference to eat raw fish.

Though the above traits can lead to several types of different appearances, each of the traits is provided in a clear way upon the clan member. To consider a random example, a male of the clan might possess a strict-beige color for a large portion of the body. The ears, erect and standing atop the head like a cat's, may be a snow-white, a matching color to the hands and the palms. Most Roscin possess either yellow or green eyes, similar to that of a feral wolf, and all have a wolf's muzzle.

The above mentioned-claws are usually a white or black in color; some with black claws might have a discoloration on one or two nails to be white. The 'claws' at the feet tend to be about an inch long, the claws at the hands a half-inch. The 'lines of chakra-enhancing fur', however, wildly vary depending on the species. An example specimen might have spiraling white lines of fur starting at the ankles, or a white stripe at the outside of their arms. Also common is a symbol amidst the Roscin's forehead, drawn in a straight line that does not intersect itself. By coincidence, several of these look like crescent moons.

Quote :: It would be highly inaccurate to consider the Roscin Clan as a ninja family because, in short, the majority of them never become ninjas. Not a part of the secret village of the cloud, these civilians have for several years acted as farmers in a remote trading center of the country. At the market, most veiled themselves so as not to torture or scare off business with their appearance.

For the time that this Clan was 'alive', the citizens used a rather simple form of irrigation farming. Redirecting a portion of a river towards the farmland, water from the flow naturally kept the soil moist for several crops, including a rather durable corn and potatoes. The water was carried out a short distance towards a drier section for more delicate delicacies which could not grow in soft soil, like strawberries and even the vineyard. Roscin wine is still considered a delicacy even after their eventual demise. Despite experience in farming, the clan never took to the physical farming of animals, though they did keep a good business in the fishing market.

The Roscin Clan is not one which has ever caught nor captivated the attention of the world. Content with their small area, the Clan remained at peace for several years. Given their location, they were affected by a small amount of ninja skirmishes, but their ultimate demise was not brought about by violence, but an outbreak of a mange-like disease. Starting with the loss of fur, this strain quickly caused a deterioration of muscle mass that eventually caused cardiac failure. With its low survival rate, there only came to be two survivors to this clan.
