Kekkei Genkai: An uncommon doujutsu that came into existence about the same time as Sharingan and Byakugan was known to the outside world. The actual doujutsu itself does not appear often within the clan. In fact it is fairly rare and as such held as a coveted prize. Unlike the sharingan of the uchiha it does not require events to be activated. Children will have access to it at the age of ten years old. The Shingai, has the ability to see up to 350 ahead of it's user making distant objects and people clear, as if they were close up. It also has the ability to track high speed movement, decreasing their speed, and increasing reaction time to the object by 15%. The eye unlike most cannot see chakra, however it can see body heat. Within it also holds the ability to see, inner muscle movement, blood vessels, ligaments, and tendons. Making techniques that take advantage of this doujutsu is fairly common. These jutsu usually involve muscles tearing and nerve stopping. At higher levels these eyes improve by seeing the entire nervous system and gasses in the air that would usually be colorless for one reason or another. The eyes also may see slight disturbance such as the smallest movement and they can record details of what they see with the eyes. Using a higher level of memory these recordings can be accessed later to study an opponent.

History:
The Yamaroshi Clan used to be a rather unknown and lonely clan, living in the barren land in the southern Rock Country all by themselves, only descending into the civilized world now and then to serve as mercenaries. On the southern cliffs of the mountains, the clan used to live in self-dug caverns and tiny villages, built in such a way that they caught the least sunlight as was possible. After all, the less sunlight they had, the stronger they were and the more easily they were capable of training.

Having lived this way for as long as the human kind can remember, the Yamaroshi elders were approached by messengers from Iwagakure during the great war between Iwa and Kagerou. The Yamaroshi Clan members and Iwagakure figured they had the advantage of knowing the area they were fighting in. In addition, the Rock Country at the time was an exeptionally dark region, making them even stronger and allowing them to be of great importance in the battle between the 2 villages. Refusing to mix themselves into the squables of the outside world however, no matter how much was paid, the Yamaroshi elders sent the messengers back with empty hands. They desired only to fight for the good cause. As there was none of such in this battle, they decided not to take part in the war at all.

The Tsuchikage did not take this news as good as the Yamaroshi elders would've hoped, however. Blinded by rage, he sent an impressive force of Iwa ANBU members to hunt down the lonely clan and force them into submission. This resulted into a large slaughter, in which a major part of the Yamaroshi clan was slain, and a minor part of the members managed to get away and sought protection inside the great walls of Kagerou. For centuries had they been hiding themselves up in the hills, but now they would side with Iwakagure greatest enemy to get back on them for what they had done.

Quickly after the Yamaroshi clan took residence inside Kagerou however, the battle was ceased and the war was over. Though this ment they could freely return home for most of the clan members, few had settled themselves inside the hidden village so well they figured they might just as well stay. These clan members still populate small sections of Kagerou today, fighting for the village they sided with back then.
