In the Clouds(Open)

A soft mist drizzle on the village, as a man sat on the mountain tops, starring at the clouds. The village of Kumo, had been a great place for people to just take things easy, but when they needed to, the ninja were always strong. The man sighed, as he looked up sitting on top of a large toad. He looked around as the sun was going to fall soon. He slapped his forehead, and knew that he had wasted most of his day sitting and thinking, while watching the clouds. He stood up and shook his head, taking out something from his pocket. It seemed it was something to smoke.

He soon began smoking the item he had pulled out and had seemed to smoke it rather fast. This was because he did not like people seeing him, while he was doing this. The man did not see it as a bad habit, or anything, but it still seemed he did not want people to know. After about a minute or so, the man seemed to be done, and as soon as he was finished he smiled and began to feel around inside his pocket. He pulled out another item, but this time, it was clearly a lollipop, something this man seemed to enjoy, a lot.

The man soon jumped off his toad, and nodded at it. It knew what the man wanted, and began to follow him. The man laughed at the toad, as it was hard for it to move down the mountains. The soon reached the bottom of the mountain and soon arrived near the middle of the village. The two soon jumped onto a rooftop and looked around the village, as if they were looking for something to do. The man smiled as he snapped his fingers and then began to make jump from building to building. It seemed he had found the thing he wanted to do. Soon after the man began to move the toad knew were he was going, and followed him.

The man soon landed in the middle of the training grounds in his village. He looked around the area, because he had not been to this part of the village for some time, because he had been busy doing things for the village. He had hoped that someone of a lower rank would be there, but that had not happened, because it seemed no one had used this area for a while and it was time to get some uses out of it. Hopefully, someone would arrive soon and he could teach them a thing or two. He knew that he could start training with the toad that was with him, but these two knew each other, very well, and sparring would only do so much.

The man turned to the toad and smiled."You know Gamako, we need to draw some attention to ourself." The toad seemed to shrug his shoulders. "Shin, we can do whatever you want right now." Gamako said with a slight sigh, after he was finished. Shin smiled and took out his sword, and got into his stance. Shin soon held up his arm, with all his fingers open, telling Gamako to not move. Shin soon pulled a kunai out from his pounce and threw it near where he had heard a sound come from. He knew it had to be someone there, but he he did not know who it could had been. He was always prepared for the worst. He sent the kunai, as a warning, so he did not aim for the person.

Shin then jumped onto of Gamako, waiting for the person to show themselves. Shin had hoped this person had been a Genin in his village, because he had always wanted the chance to help someone in his village. And if it was not a Genin, he had hoped it was someone his rank, or higher. So he could get into a fight, and try to best someone that was supposedly stronger than him. "Alright, you can come out." Shin said at last. He held his weapon as tight as he could, waiting for the person to show. Gamako seemed to not mind that someone was around them, but was still ready, if he needed to be. Shin and Gamako, even though they seemed an unlikely par, worked well as a team together.

Matsu walked slowly through the streets of Kumogakure, letting the light drizzle wash over him. It had been a few days since the incident with the candy. He tried to put it out of his head, not wanting to think about. He wasn't one to dwell on the past very much and the candy incident wasn't a thing he felt like thinking about. He shook his head and continued walking down the small road, watching the streets clear because of the rain. A grin spread across his face as he realized that there weren't that many people on the streets. It was a rare thing and he enjoyed it went most people went inside. A little peace and quiet helped out at times.

A breeze blew through the street causing the rain to blow at an angle. It was pretty humid out and Matsu's shirt wasn't helping out that much. He pulled his arms out of the sleeves and slung the shirt over his shoulder. A sigh escaped his lips as his body temperature dropped to a comofrtable level. Hia body had become completely wet by this point yet he didn't car. He enjoyed the rain and humid weather, it was perfect for training. The rain wouldn't allow your body to get to hot and when it was this humid you would usually sweat like a stuck pig which meant you were gonna lose some weight. Matsu smiled as he thought about training and started making his way towards the Shinobi Courtyard, wondering if there would be anyone there.

A couple of streets from the Shinobi Courtyard Matsu got distracted by a cat that was holed up in a alley. Two dogs were trying to get to it but it was behind a crate that had had a narrow crack between it and the wall. Matsu laughed as he realised that the dogs couldn't get their heads in the crack and that they were too stupid to try moving it aside with their sheer weight. His eyes lit up with excitement at the prospect of saving the cat and he ran down the alley, grinning like a little kid.

As soon as the Genin reached the dogs they both spun around and snarled at him. His eyes opened up with surprised and he stepped back, putting some distance between him and the angry animals. The two dogs adavnced on him slowly, snarling the whole time. Matsu though quickly and realised he had a chocolate bar in his back pocket. He pulled it out and unwrapped it quickly. The animals saw the chocolate and started yipping and barking. He looked at them and then turned around, throwing the chocolate into the road. Both dogs scampered out of the allet and devoured the chocolate, sulking off soon after to their homes.

Matsu shook his head and went back to the crate where the cat was. He reached down and pulled it out, petting it and grinning. The cat hissed and then proceeded to jump out of his arms and claw his bare chest to pieces. Matsu yelped and jumped back, rubbing at the fresh scratch marks. His eyes then turned back to the cat and watched it as it walked out into the road and ran off.

A groan escaped Matsu's lips and he turned back towards the road and walked out of the alley, making his way towards the Shinobi Courtyard. Blood streamed down his chest from the cuts of the cat. It wasn't the first time he had bled in his life and it didn't seem to phase him. He just held his head high and continued on his way, not caring about the few people who were left on the streets staring.

The rain was still coming down lightly has the Shinobi Courtyard came into view. Matsu grinned and started running, wanting to get there quickly and see if anyone else was around. A kunai appeared out of nowhere and stuck into the ground right where he was about to step. Matsu jumped back, staring down at the kunai in disbelief. He groaned and started walking again, thinking:

If it isn't one thing, it's another...

A voice called saying he could come out now. Matsu shrugged his shoulders and stepped around the corner. In the center of the courtyard a man sat on a toad. Matsu looked at the m and laughed. So this was the person who had thrown the kunai at him. The guy looked older than him and oddly enough he also looked stronger. This could be interesting.

Matsu stroder forward and pointed his finger up at the man. "What do you think your doing?! You coulda hit me with that kunai! I was just minding my own business and then a kunai almost hits me. What the hell?! I deserve an apology!"

The boy stood there with his finger pointed up at the other man. Usually he wouldn't talk anyone like this but he had been so surprised by the sudden appearance of the kunai that he couldn't control himself. He was really a shy boy at heart but at a time like this no one could be shy, no matter who they were.

His eye twitched slightly out of anger as he waited for his apology. He was going to get one or else this guy was gonna get his ear chewed off. It wasn't right to throw kunai at people and think you could get away with it. Especially when the person your throwing it at just got attacked by a cat and isn't paying attention! It just isn't right.

Tahji was walking down the streets with his mission clothes on. Suddenly someone was yelling. Tahji turned his head towards the Courtyard. Hmm, interesting Tahji decided to go check it out. He charged some chakra to his feet. Shunshin no Jutsu He jumped. In a second, he was on a tree in the Courtyard. There was a genin and a Chuunin. Not knowing what just happened, Tahji took out a Kunai.

Just as he was doing it, Tahji notices that there was blood on the chest of the genin, but yet the chuunin was holding a sword. And the wounds on the genin were not made from a sword, but merely a small thing. Tahji slipped down the tree. Looking at the other shinobi, he sighed and sat down, waiting for the fight to be over.

Tahji tightened his hands around the kunai and stared towards the two shinobi. C’mon finish the fight

Kumogakure was currently experiencing a light drizzle throughout the country. It didn't even seem wet as the water flew down. It just looked like a white out of a kind. The rain came down in a nice steady stream as people hurried from one spot to another. Sitting on a nearby bench was a shinobi of the village. Katou Gomu. Dressed in his usual attire, he had blue jean shorts that were ripped and torn apart at some spots, but still remained like they were gold to Katou. Then he also had his typical red vest on. Sleeveless, allowing his arms to stretch the way they do without ripping and tearing them. Wearing that, his chest was totally exposed but showed the lines that outlined his skeletal frame, despite being rubber, he was infact quite toned, with his body outlining his muscles. But the thing that showed everyone who he was, even if his head was tilted down, like it is now, was his legendary Straw Hat. With the hat, he was sometimes called a bandit, and with his Rubbery substance, he was nicknamed the Rubber Bandit.

Looking up into the rain, he saw a fellow shinobi, much smaller in size although, meaning he was probably a Chuunin or a Genin. Katou raised one of his eyebrows, curious as to what he was doing. His black eyes shone with interest, he dislodged one of his arms from the bench and set it on his lap. Water ran down his scar on his face as he looked up at one of the buildings across the street. There was a sturdy lamppost and he grinned. Cocking his right arm back, he flung it forward as it flew across the clearing and latched onto the lamp post securely and silently. Pulling himself forward, he launched up there and was now perched on the lamp post.

Watching silently as the young Genin walked into the alley, Katou spotted two dogs and a trapped cat. Watching, he observed what the young shinobi would do. As soon as the Genin reached the dogs, they both spun around and snarled at him. His eyes opened up with surprised and he stepped back, putting some distance between him and the angry animals. Impressed, Katou grinned and watched what he would do. The young shinobi took out the cat and stroked it. 'Bad move kid, you let the cat come to you.' Which infact Katou was right about, the cat unleashed its claws onto the kid's chest and had fresh blood oozing from it. Smiling, 'Pain never hurt anyone.' Watching as the kid walked away, Katou was ready to leave when a kunai soared out of the blue and almost struck the kid. Wanting to jump down and fight, he decided against it, deciding to observe whatt would happen. QUickly locating the culprit, it was a Chuunin, a few years older than the Genin and he attacked out of the blue. 'Wounder what the blood between the two is.' Wrapping himself around the pole, he could free his arm and observe without being noticed. The rain picked up slightly, and with the light, covered Katou from anyone noticing him. Although he could still see the two boys.

Shin laughed as the boy came out. He was tall for his age, but still looked much like a genin. He might even pass for a chunnin, but just barely. Shin got off Gamako and smiled at the boy, and then waved at him. Shin only took about three of four steps towards the boy and stopped. He took his lollipop out from his mouth and held his hand out, feeling the light rain above him. He then turned his head back at Gamako, showing him that everything was fine. He walked a few more steps towards the boy and smiled. He placed his lollipop back in his mouth and smiled.

Shin looked at the boy and laughed once more. "I did not mean any harm, boy. It was merely a warning, not meant to do any harm. I knew it was going to hit. If you would have been an enemy, you would have attacked, because I had found your spot." He paused and looked around, seeing another Genin. This once had been smaller and was no way a chunnin. Shin turned back to Matsu and sighed. "Unless of course, you knew I was planning that." Shin said jokingly. He turned back the the other Genin and shook his head.

Shin did not know why the other boy thought the two were fighting, when the two hadn't even meet each other. He sighed and rubbed his forehead. He put his sword away and opened his mouth. "I'm not sure why you think we are fighting. Not even a single attack has been used. Hell, we've never even touch each other." He pointed at the two of them, with both of his hands. "I am not willing to fight either of you. You aren't strong enough to take me on yet." He said and then put his hands down. "However." He said with a smile and his hand on his chin. "I am willing to train the two of you for the time being."

Gamako soon jumped in front of Shin and smiled at the two boys. He was much bigger than the two and looked quite a bit stronger. Shin soon jumped on top of Gamako and looked at the two boys. "First I want to see what you boys got. I'll need to know this, so I can properly train you. Even though this is only for a little while, I'll be able to tell your future sensei how good you are." He smiled and laughed. "Hell, I may even be your sensei." He knew that he could not go all out on the two because they were Genin. And even being a rank below him, the jump from Genin to Chunnin was a big jump.

Shin soon began to make hand signs, and then bit his thumb. Soon, two tongue's appeared under his wrist. "I like this jutsu the most, even though, most people think it's gross." He grinned has the two toad's tongue's fired at the boys. This would not do much harm, if hit by one, but it would tell Shin if they knew what they were doing, if something came right at them. However, this was not the only thing that Shin would use to see what they needed. Soon, a third tongue came out of Shin's mouth. This one was about the same length, but however, Shin had kept it at his side. "You two better get ready." He yelled out at them.

He already knew that the first Genin that arrived seemed to know what he was doing, but the other one, he did not know. Tahji seemed to jumped to conclusions, and this was not a good thing, because he could assume something was going on, and get killed. Shin would have to show him that things were not always what they appear to be. Although it was wise for him to pull out a kunai, and be ready just in case something was going on. This was something Matsu had not done. A ninja must always be ready for anything. This is what Shin was trying to teach the boy who had arrived from the start. Which is what the kunai was for.

Matsu lowered his arm and listening has the older man talked. Maybe he had been a bit rash and he had figured that the man hadn't tryed to hit him. Otherwise he would probaly have a kunai sticking out of his stomach or chest, which wasn't the case. No point continuing to yell at the man. Matsu turned and walked a few paces back, putting some distance between himself and the man. Then he turned and grinned at him.

"My name's Matsu Kaguya. Nice to meet you."

A voice spoke from off beside them. Matsu turned and looked right another Genin. He could tell the boy was a Genin because he looked younger than even himself. It seemed that the other boy thought they were fighting. Matsu ran a finger over the scratches on his chest and sighed. This was probaly the reason this boy thought they were fighting. That damned cat...

Rain splashed down around and on Matsu as he stood watching the older man talk. So he wasn't strong enough to take him on? He grinned. Looks like it was time to teach this person what he was made of. Matsu readied himself for anything as he heard the other man say that he was going to train them. This would be interesting. One guy training two Genin. Matsu shook his head, I hope this guy knows what he's doing.

There were many things the Chuunin could do. He could attack them with that huge toad of his, attack with his sword, throw a kunai at them or hundreds of other things. Matsu was sure he could dodge most of them, including the toad. It might be hard but he was sure he was quick enough to get out of the way. Since he was a Taijutsu user he was quicker than most Genin, except those that were also Taijutsu specialist. A crack resounded around the courtyard as he popped his neck. There was a tension is the air now and Matsu knew something would be happening soon.

The tension only grew as the Chuunin started doing hand seals and two tongues appeared under his wrist. Matsu just watched the display with a smile. This was nothing compared to making bones come out of your body. The Genin slowly made small bullets out of bone come out of the tips of his fingers. He felt as the bone on the inside regrew. He kept the bones halfway in so that they wouldn't fall to the ground before he had time to shoot them. With them still partially inside of his skin he could keep them there and shoot them off whenever he wanted quickly, without a slight hassle.

A tongues fired off the wrist, aimed right for Matsu. The boy jumped to the side and hand springed back to his feet as the tongue missed him by about six inches. As soon as his feet hit the ground and he regained his composure he fired off the finger bullets, aimed right for the Chuunin sitting on top of the big toad. He grinned and looked up at the man.

"Is this all you got? I've been training with my father since I was able to walk. Im no amateur when it comes to sparring or training. I can handle myself pretty well."

As the boy finished speaking he kept his eyes on the bone bullets as they sped towards the man. If they didn't hit then that meant this guy was pretty good. Matsu had fired them off with no warning and as soon as he got back to his feet, which meant the other guy shouldn't have been expecting anything. If the attack hit it should only cause a slight bruise since Matsu hadn't used his full strength in firing it off.

Tahji listened as the man explained. Oh, I was mistaken by the scratches on his chest as he looked towards the guy named Matsu. He looked back towards the Chuunin, who was now saying a bunch of stuff that Tahji did not hear clearly. He shook his head and saw the Chuunin doing some handsigns. Then out of nowhere, a tongue appeared in both of the Chuunin's hand. And found that the Chuunin had a extra long tongue basically just dangling from his mouth.

Tahji found this weird. What the c - cr - crap it that? Tahji held his kunai even tighter. This time, he decided to not to waste time. Electric Discharge He charged the electric into the kunai when he noticed that the tongue shot towards him. Luckily with the advantage of higher speed and jumping height, Tahji jumped to the other side of the tree, successfully dodging the tongue.

Tahji sighed. I'm a Idiot. I could have used the rain to do a water jutsu! Tahji whispered to himself. Tahji had a small plan. Tahji threw the kunai above the chuunin hoping that electricity would rain down. After he threw the kunai, Tahji prepared for another jutsu.

Mizu Bunshin no Jutsu Another form of Tahji appeared in front of him. The clone jumped over the tree and faced the chuunin. Tahji listened to what would happen. C'mon attack it Tahji thought to himself.

The Chuunin seemed quite full of himself. Grinning, he admired his attitude but would so put the Chuunin in his place if he spoke to him like that. Katou had his entire body wrapped around the pole so he didn't have to hold on, so he was resting his head on his hands as he observed the fight. THe Chuunin actually seemed to be lecturing the two Genin on proper moves and fighting skills. Thinking this would be a good moment, Katou silently unwrapped his body from the pole and jumped on the roof. Moving quickly across the rooftops without making a splash. Making it behind the Chuunin, he stayed concealed and contiuned to observe the battle.

The Chuunin offering to train two Genins? He would barely be able to keep up with both, Katou wouldn't struggle with the two Genin, but it may be a bit more difficult with the Chuunin if he trained all three. Rubbing his chin, he tilted his hat down only showing his mouth, which was curled into a small grin. Listening more intensely, one Genin was Matsu Kaguya. That's the only one that had manners to introduce himself. Shaking his head upset, he looked down at the three and watched as they all made their moves.

The Chuunin had an obivious connection with frogs so when he produced frog tongues on his hands, Katou was just slightly impressed as he launched them forward at a considerate speed. Grinning he wanted to see how the Kaguya would react. The Kaguya lived up to it.. Moving quickly, he then fired off a Kaguya move, Drilling Finger Bullets. While Matsu used chakra for attacking, the second Genin used 2 jutsu and didn't even attack. Sad. Wast of chakra. Deciding to make his move, he Shunshin'd.

Appearing behind the Chuunin, he was still silent. "Well if your such a good shinobi you should've noticed me awhile ago." Shooting his arms forward, he attempted to entangle them around the Chuunin rapidly, attempting to bind him in his arms. Grinning, he looked up showing his black eyes.

Shin shook his head at both the Genin, as the tried to attack him. He was glad that they had tried, but he did not think they could handle him. He was closer to a Jounin ranked ninja, and less of a Genin. Shin soon pulled back his tongues and got rid of the two. He noticed that the bullets did not seem powerful, however, he wished to stop them. Shin still had one toad tongue left, and he wished to use that one. He shoot it out, at in angle at all of the bullets and knocked them off course. Then, Shin took one of his kunai and threw it at the other, also knocking it off course. He smiled at the two, and then someone had appeared behind him.

Shin smiled, as the man began to talk, this amused him. He laughed while turning around. "If you were a threat, I may have cared." Shin then noticed his arms shoot out at him. This seemed to be a jutsu. or something much like his toad tongues. He did not know the effects of the attack, but assuming that they were similar to his toad tongues, Shin would have something planned for this. He did not wish to get caught by this person so quickly, so he began his next move, right as he saw the attack coming at him. As soon as he noticed the arms falling at him, the area around Shin began to heat up.

Soon, a fiery aura formed around Shin, and it seemed to sustain itself a few inches around him. It was as hot as a flame, but it did not seem to harm Shin, although it would harm things touching it. Thus why, Shin refrained for spreading the jutsu of his feet, because this would harm his toad, and he did not want to do that. Shin smirked as the arms tried to bind him. If they would do so, the man that hard just arrived would either do, two things. One, was to simply bind him, and face the pain, or two was to bring back his arms. Shin knew if he was bound by the arms he would still have a trick or two up his sleeve. He would not be beaten so easily.

Shin then remembered the two Genin that he was fighting. He could surely not take on two Genin, while fighting this man. He sighed and shook his head. It seemed the man that had arrived had very bad timing, and would want to attack a chunnin, knowing that he was trying to help others. This served as a pain to Shin. He knew the man would probably be a Chunnin or Higher to attack him, like so, but it was very weak to attack someone while they were training others. Shin shook his head at the man.

He then yelled at Gamako to talk to the two Genin. Gamako sighed and shook his head. "Boys, Shin wishes for you to spar with each other, he will train you after he deals with this man." Gamako was referring to the man who had just attacked Shin. Gamako did not know what was going on, but to Shin, it seemed like the man who had arrived had something to prove to him. Shin had no clue what he had done, but he would not lose to him, even if he had to use all this strength.

What had started out as a soft drizzle was slowly dying down to nothing. Rain still fell but it was now a very soft drizzled, hardly noticeable. Matsu shook his wet hair out of his eyes and felt it go back to its natural spiky form. He loved his hair for that. No matter what, once he shook his head hard enough and the water or whatever was in it came out it would go right back to the way it had been before he got it wet. The Genin rubbed his hand through it, ruffling it up a bit and then turned his attention back to the battle.

The swish of the last toad's tongue met the ear's of Matsu as he watched his finger bullets be knocked off course. The other set were soon knocked off course just as effectively with a kunai. Matsu groaned and knelt down on one knee. The other Genin used some kind of technique that used the kunai and charged it with electricity. The Kaguya nodded at the thoughtfulness and then sighed when nothing happened. That was a disappoinment. He stood back up and rubbed the scratches on his chest, wiping what little blood was left away.

Movement behind the Chuunin caught Matsu's attention. He turned and looked, seeing another man standing there, talking. Just as he finished talking his arms shot forth like they were rubber and attempted to wrap around the Chuunin. An astonished look spread across Matsu's face. This was the first time he had seen a jutsu such as this. It couldn't have been a regular jutsu, probaly a Kekkei Genkai like his bone manipulation was. Still, it caught him by surprise and he stared on, watching to see what would happen.

Some sort of fiery aura spread around the body of the Chuunin, sending off waves of heat into the surrounding air. Matsu gasped and wondered what would happen to the toad the man was standing. That was when he noticed that the aura didn't reach down to his feet. A smart thing to do seeing as if that stuff touched anything it would probalt burn like fire. Te Genin shook his head and turned away, not caring very much for what would happen next.

A voice called at him and the other Genin from over his shoulder. He looked back, listening as the frog told them that Shin wanted them to spar. So his name is Shin? I'll have to remember that. A grin spread across Matsu's face as he turned to the Genin off to his right. He eyed the kid up and down, grinning the whole time.

"You ready to fight? I'll let you throw the first punch, if you want."

Tahji was listening to everything. His dark purple eyes staring towards the Chuunin, who was wrapped up by something. An arm? The attacker was unknown because of a tree blocking Tahji's view. Then Tahji noticed that aura was forming around the Chuunin, except for his feet.

Tahji stared as the Chuunin talked to the Toad for a second or two. Then the Toad started to speak to them. He seems to not know that Tahji was behind the tree, because of the water clone. Tahji listens to the Toad while he says to let the genin spar against each other. This is torture. First, he knows how to use his clan ability, yet, I am unsure of my own clan ability, dam it

Tahji jumped on the tree as a wind brews by. He shook his head, They seem to under estimate me Tahji placed his hand in his pouch and takes out a kunai. He made the clone run towards the Kaguya named Matsu as he glared towards Matsu, awaiting for his move.

Smirking, Katou, in a second of a fraction flicked his arms outwards avoiding the fire that errupted. "See, my arms aren't meant to withstand so much heat. They can withstand some, but it can get really messy, now we don't want that right?" Withdrawing his arms to their normal state, he squatted down and placed his hands face down on the ground. "Now, how should be do this? A Chuunin training two Genin, that's what you call it, but I see that you just assualted them. Now that's not a good thing. Lifting his hands slowly from the ground, he shot instantly into a string of hand seals. Slamming his hands together. Closing his mouth, he churned chakra rapidly through his mouth as he coated his mouth with mud. Making a little circle with his lips, he blew out several large shaped mud bubbles. "Earth Style, Mud Bubbles!"

Several medium to large sized bubbles floated towards Shin as they dripped lightly with mud spots leaving a trail across the battlefield. "And this!" Making two more hand seals, Katou slammed his hands on the ground and the ground underneath Shin began churning up the ground and rocks, attempting to spin rapidly, trapping Shin in the churned rubble. "Now, why not we just talk? Or we can just attempt to beat each other senselessly. Wait, I'm lost, whats going on again?" Katou was tripped up, or did it seem like it.

Katou looked more closely at his opponent. Shin has a dark tone to his skin and has rather short spiky white hair, and only reaches to about the top of his neck. Squinting his eyes, Katou couldn't see Shin's eyes, but they looked semi brown and somewhat big. Strapped on his back was a sword, which Katou inferred that he was a sword user, a skilled one with such a simple sword, but Katou wasn't one to judge, the sword was probably insanely wicked and unique. Wearing a simple attire of a jacket and pants, Shin was tall and could see the strength in him. Katou grinned, thinking he probably got Shin nailed.

"Now Shin, I have a question, what can you get about me from just looking at me? Because I feel like I have you pretty well down." Sitting down, forgetting about the battle, Katou sat Indian style and rested his hands on his legs. Waiting for the other shinobi's response. He was curious to as what the Chuunin thought about the odd looking Jounin.

OOC: I have a few words to say before I post. For one, I'm sorry for such a late post, but I had family over for sometime, and here I am to post.

Second: Well, this one is gonna get nasty, and I say it will be R Rated, so I shall put it in a spoiler to shield young eyes.

Shin shook his head at the fact that his attack failed. However, it wasn't entirely a waste. it had warded off the attack coming towards himself. The flames soon faded away from Shin and he looked towards his opponent. He soon saw Katou starting to make hand seals and he knew this would not favor Shin, but he would have to wait and see what the attack was, before he could do anything. Soon, bubbles come out from his opponents mouth. This made Shin laugh, because his main element was in fact lightning. He was glad that he had not used his lightning from the get go. However, Shin doubted he would at all in this battle, because Katou seemed odd. As soon as the bubbles landed on the ground, Shin seemed confused, but ready for something. He was glad that he still had one of his tongues left. He sighed and saw his opponent make even more hand seals. This time, the rocks began to rise up. Shin did not know what was gonna happen with them, but he knew that it was time for him to get away.

He looked at a nearby tree and soon his last toad tongue fired out at one of its branches. He then pulled his head back and shot out at the tree. He seemed to be a safe distance from the rocks. He kept his eyes on them, just to make sure they did not shoot towards him. Although he had to pay some attention to his opponent, The Jounin, Katou. He begin to speak, and it seemed to be words of a fool. Katou thought he could read Shin, by just looking at him. This would be false, and even more so for ninjas. Each had a set of skills that typically could not been seen, by just looking at someone standing there. At this moment, Shin knew that Katou was not a very smart person. He smiled at him and shook his head. He then removed his sword from his back.

"You know, that was one of the stupidest things, I've heard in a long time. And let me tell you, I've heard a lot of stupid shit in the past." He held his sword like he was going to use it and waited a few moments. "The fact that you think you can have me pretty well down, is a something that fool would think." He said pointing at Katou. "You assumed I was attacking that Genin over there from the start, when I was merely testing him. I knew I was not going to hit the boy, but you did not see that." He shook his head and laughed."And you of all people should know that looks and be devising. You look like a normal person, but you have the ability to extend you arms to such great length. And I bet there is more where that comes from. Unless of course, like I said, you are a fool." He smirked and then put his sword to his side. It seemed it was about ready to try something.

He soon through his sword into the air, and the sword seemed to break. However, it merely divided into seven different swords. The swords landed in order, on Shin. Two of the blades between his left arm and side, one in his right elbow joint, one in his mouth, one in their neck joint, one between his stomach and his right leg, and one in the joint of his right knee. This sword style had not been seen for sometime. Shin smiled as all the swords fell in order. They soon had lightning form around them, a few moments after landing in the right spots. "I cannot say I have you well down, because I haven't seen everything you can do, but it cannot be that amazing. However, if it is, I shall be ready." He soon jumped into the air.

As Shin landed, he began to spin around like crazy trying his hardest to cut Katou if he could. Shin would try not to leave openings, and this would be hard to do, seeing as he had so many swords and was quite skilled in his style of using them. Shin wanted to give Katou a run for his money.
