Well you can have a C rank sword if you have kenjutsu. Just look in the guides and you will see.

The Encyclopedia has various sorts of weapons for members to use and are the foundation of what we permit here for those outside of the Craftsmen Profession. Considering you're wishing to specialize Kenjutsu the obvious choice would be to go with the katana which can be found in the Universal Swords page.
