Bravo Team's First Encounter [Bravo Team]

Rei slowly walked through her clan's vast compound. She had been more and more bored recently due to the fact that she had no one to play with. She hadn't met a girl or guy to take on a date recently, and even her sparring partners proved to be boring. Her skills were still increasing and the gap between her power and those around her increased along with it. Thy seemed to be getting slower and slower to the point they seemed to be walking to her sprint. Even her own clan seemed to be growing weaker. She couldn't accept the world getting weaker in her wake. It made her life just too boring. As she continued on her walk an assistant ran to her and started speaking very quickly. She was a little younger than Rei and out of breath. This made her speak so fast that hardly any of it was legible. She raised her hand and a sharp thwack was heard through the compound. The young girl rubbed the back of her head slowly. " Now. If you could please say what you were saying before with a full breath of air so I can understand what you were saying." The girl laughed once softly and continued with what she was saying in a manner that could be understood. She told Rei that the Raikage had announced teams and all teams should meet as soon as they could. A white slip of paper was handed to Rei, and she smiled, nodding, the nobility's way of excusing the lower members, Rei let the girl know she could leave. As she did, Rei noticed a movement error as she jogged away. A mental note was created in Rei's head to correct later. She would not have any clan member of her's have sloppy movement form in any aspect of their lives. It was better to always be graceful. That way, it came naturally in combat when it really needed to.

As per Raikage-sama's orders, Rei gathered a set of her messengers and sent them to each of the assigned shinobi. She saw a couple of surnames that she didn't imagine she would see in Kumogakure. The Hyuuga clan, whose abilities resembled her own in some ways, and the kaguya whose clan ability was semi-legendary. The hyuuga and kaguya were both known for their taijutsu skills, so Rei figured this team would be an excellent match for her. The messengers left without a word, and Rei went to get one more thing done before meeting at the designated spot to meet this new team. She moved through the compound to a person she knew quite well. A clan member named Ranmaru. She specialized in fuiinjutsu and was always the one that inscribed and changed around the weights on her legs. The moment she walked in, Ranmaru smiled and came around the table between them embracing Rei in a hug. Rei smiled back and shared the gesture. They then got down to business. Rei wanted more weight on the seals and Ranmaru was happy to oblige, giving her an extra hundred pounds on both legs. Ranmaru always looked surprised at the weight that was already on there, but never mentioned anything about it. Rei was amused at her amazement, thinking that she could easily do more if she wanted to. They finished business and bid farewell as Rei exited Ranmaru's home and went to meet her team at the botanical gardens.

The journey didn't take long. Even at a jog, Rei covered the distance in no time and stopped when she reached the front of the waterfall in the gardens. There she transformed into a cat and circled quickly before laying down next to the side of the small basin caused by the falling of the water. As her typical cat form gave her disguise, the genin wouldn't know she was even there. If Rei wanted to get to know these ninja, its often better to hear what they say when they think they are alone. This fact came from her mother's teachings, which Rei often found to be correct. In her relaxed form, Rei lowered her head onto her paw and waited for the arrival of her new team of genin. Team Bravo.

A simple walk through the village, this seemed to be the best medicine for a bored child; all the things going on, from watching young academy students running around to make sure they weren't late for classes to the rowdy drunk man being kicked out of a shop. Yes, Kumogakure was never boring with all this going on. Hana didn't have to make it a few yards from her house to just see these two events to happen, yet the academy student wasn't paying attention and tripped over the fallen drunk man. At this simple mistake, anger began to be clearly displayed on the drunken man's face, in Hana's mind's eye she could just picture steam coming out of the man's ears like an old fashion cartoon as the man stood up.

This man was clearly a burly man, having more of a gut then muscles, and having grease stains on a simple wife beater above his black slacks, and bare feet. Although this itself was an ugly vision to go with that was the man's face, his nose was long and pointy and had a small mouth, and beady eyes that were to close together; he looked almost like an oversized mouse. As the man go to his full height he began to lift the tiny academy student up that couldn't have reached his waist, it was clear that this drunken fool was ready for a fight and he didn't care who he took down.

Hana narrowed her eyes, that were hidden behind sunglasses to keep her pupiless eyes from being obvious. With quick long strides, that kept her platinum blonde hair with electric blue highlights throughout falling out of its normal natural straightness into that windblown, bad hair day look; she got to the scene, and did an eloquant twist before attempting to thrust her elbow into his gut. Due to her small size, 4"3, she only made up to his hip, and accidently dislocated it. A girl shrill escaped the drunken man's lips as he let go of the academy student who took off in a desperate attempt to escape, as the man's eyes started to water he looked down at the girl who just caused this pain. To his amusement he just saw a kid, a..."colorful kid". He couldn't believe his eyes, standing before him was a short, strangely colored hair girl; how could this shrimp have caused this pain, it was beyond him.

Yet, this man didn't care as he brought his massive hands down in an attempt to crack open her skull, or atleast cause major head trauma. But, with a simple twist of her body out of the way, she dodged the attack and hopped onto the man's arm, and yet again hopped and spin kicked him in the face knocking him to the ground. Following shortly after him, she landed with one hand on the ground, and one knee also on the ground as she glared at the man behind the sunglasses. "You're pitiful." With that Hana walked off back to her house to find a rather tall tanned woman standing infront of her house with a message, "It's time to meet your sensei and your fellow squad members, meet at the botanical gardens." With a nod and thank you towards the messenger Hana was on her way to meet the squad she was assigned to.

Since her house was actually fairly close to the botanicle gardens, it took only a matter of minutes before Hana arrived, and not knowing where exactly in the gardens she was she began to walk around, refusing to use her byakugan unless needed. As she circled around the garden she began to shiver. If only i wore my hoody and my blue jeans. She thought as she looked down at her attire; a simple apple red tanktop and midnight black basketball shorts, with the simple ninja shoe wear, her sunglasses, her blood red backpack that carried an assortment of items, and of course her handy dandy medical pouch that was wrapped around her waist like a belt. This was definently not the outfit the brought warmth, and she hoped dearly that her sensei wouldn't be mad at her for not being prepared for any type of weather conditions.

As she thought about this her head drooped, What..what if my sensei not only is mad at me for my attire, but also because i'm the weakest of the genin. A sigh escaped her lips as she continued to cirlce around in search of anyone, any person, atleast without having to use any her doujutsu.

A stream of sunlight burst through a crack in the curtains. The light fell on the eyes of a fourteen year old Genin named Matsu Kaguya. The boy sat up, rubbing his eyes and yawning. Yesterday he had been informed that he was to meet his sensei and fellow Genin today. He didn't know what time but he did know that is was in the botanical gardens. He grinned as he though of meeting the fellow ninja in his squad. The excitement was killing him so the boy jumped up out of his bed and rushed into the bathroom.

Matsu stared back at himself as he looked into the mirror. Bright blue eyes stared back, glinting in the light that was hanging overhead. His tan skin complimented the blue eyes nicely. He raised his arm over his head and did a simple stretch to get the tightness out of his muscles. A smile appeared on his face as he felt his toned muscles loosen. He then proceeded to stretch every muscle on his body until he was completely loose. The Genin jumped and down, getting hyped for the day to come and then dropped down and started doing push-ups. After finishing the push-ups he did some sit-ups. By this time he had accumulated a nice little sweat so he cut on the water in his shower and hopped in.

Water ran over the boy's body as he bathed. Soap and suds were all over the bottom of the shower, slowly going down the drain. His long, wet hair hung over his eyes, dripping water straight down the drain. The soap dropped to the bottom of the shower as Matsu let go of it and grabbed the shampoo. He washed his hair thoroughly and then conditioned it. When you had long hair you had to condition it or it didn't look right. A simple turn of a knob and the water cut off. Matsu stepped out of the shower and dried himself off. He felt compltely refreshed and woken up after that so he brushed his teeth and walked out of the bathroom, throwing the towel down as he went.

Matsu pulled on a plain white shirt and black pants as he readied himself for the meeting. He pulled on his shoes and brushed his hair back until it was straight. Afterwards he walked over to his bedside table and picked up his headband. A quick knot and it was securely tied to his right arm. Many people had asked the boy why hadn't he chosen to put it on his forehead like most other Genin. He had replyed that it made his forehead sweat and it would sometimes drip down into his eyes. Sweat dripping into your eyes wasn't something you could let happen during a fight. Matsu groaned and walked down the stairs and out the door, not even telling his parents he was leaving. They knew he had to meet his sensei so they shouldn't be too mad. Atleast not his father who wanted him to get there as quick as possible.

A few minutes after leaving the quietness of the house Matsu was walking through the bustling streets of Kumogakure no sato. People moved through the streets, talking and bumping into each other. Matsu was pushed a few times but he ignored it and kept moving. He was used to these kinds of things. Most of his life had been spent in this village and the simple things like being pushed while walking didn't bother him in the slightest. Shops passed him by in a blur as he walked, keepig his mind set only on getting to the botanical garden. If he didn't keep this mind set he would probaly end up doing something else before getting there and becoming distracted. If that happened he might even miss his first meeting, something he wasn't going to let happen.

The gate the led up the Cloudy Pass slid open as he walked through it. He shoved his hands in his pockets and looked around at the beauty of the Pass. Birds fleeted around, twirping and making song. Other small animals that he couldn't see but he could hear moved around also. The sounds of nature were something that really soothed his shyness and also his nervousness. It wouldn't remedy it completely but he would help him when it came to talking to his sensei and the other Shinobi he was going to meet. He grinned and started to sprint up the pass so that he would get to the botanical garden quicker.

The aromas of flowers and trees smacked Matsu in the face as he entered into the garden's. He took a few deep breaths just to get accustomed to the wonderful scent. Hummingbirds and honey bees were everywhere he looked. He smiled and walked deeper into the place, searching for any sign of his senei or the other Genin. If they were anywhere in here he would find them, no matter where they were.

Minutes passed by with no sight of any other form of human life. The boy groaned and continued walking, passing by cat. He looked at it once and smiled, continuing on his walk. He hadn't known there were any cats up here, they usually stayed down in the village. A person ahead of him took his mind right off cats. It was a girl with blonde hair that had electric blue highlights in it. A rush of excitement exploded through his body and he ran up beside her. He skidded to a halt beside her and smiled.

"You wouldn't happen to be a member of Squad Bravo, would you?"

He smiled his most charming smile and leaned up against a tree that was behind him. His hands stayed in his pockets and he just looked at the girl, smiling all the while. In his mind he was praying that she was a member of a squad. Another thing he was struggling with in his head was his shyness. The shy side of him was trying to tell him to stop smiling like an idiot and look serious while the happy side of him was telling him to keep smiling and to be as charming as possible. His smile didn't falter for a second as he sided with the happy side of himself. This had better be a member of my squad...

A light knock echoed throughout the small room. The small and thin wooden door slid open and the light from the hallway flooded in. A council member of the Shuheii clan winced, his nose twitching at the smell of body odor and the stench of feet. A light snoring could be heard from within the confines of the room. The council member made his way through the mine field of clothes and books that were scattered on the floor and failed to not step on things. The disturbance of the objects of the floor would be heard by the boy in the bed, and sure enough a motion the darkness stirred.

Urahara had been asleep for only two hours, failing to get any sleep because of his restless mind. He slept with his hat on and his cane next to the bed. His green hakama and robes were open to expose his chest and the top of his pants were sagging off a bit, due to his tossing and turning within his small mattress. At the sound of the door opening he awoke, balefully staring the dark ceiling.

The sleep was so heavy on his eyes that he could barely open them. His head burned slightly and he was desperate to stay asleep, being as comfortable as he was at the moment. Then, with a jolt he sat up right, realizing that today he was supposed to meet his sensei and fellow genin. He then heard the sound of someone approaching him in the dark and decided to stand up, bones popping as he did so.

When he noticed the movement become more pronounced by Urahara standing up the council member took a few quick steps back, tripping over a large book and creating a loud thud on the floor. Ura stared at the member, eyes un amused and disinterested, frowning at him. Urahara did not like it when people came into his room with him being asleep. Shrugging the matter off, he picked up his cane and pulled up his pants. He sluggishly walked out of his room, cane and geta making their iconic noises as they moved in unison. He adjusted his spearmint bucket hat, the oil in his unwashed hair matting against his forehead. He yawned loudly and made it to the bathroom door; he opened it and stepped inside.

As he entered the bathroom he searched for the light switch with his eyes closed, knowing its general direction from the door he turned it on with success. The light shone through his eyelids and he then opened them. The initial pain of light hurt his eyes and he winced. Forcing his eyes to open he looked at his appearance in the mirror. His chest exposed in the mirror, well defined with muscle ridgelines and several scars that ran along his body.

The bags under his eyes were shockingly predominant and red, several creases of skin layering upon one another. He took his shirt and hakama off and went to the sink and turned it on. Taking his time he washed his face and brushed his teeth, afterwards he went to the shower with sluggish enthusiasm and turned it on. After turning on the shower he took the rest of his clothes off while waiting for the water to get hot. He sighed in relief as the soothing touch of the hot water hit his chest. "Ara...ara...ara...I might fall asleep in the shower.." Ura thought to himself...his lethargic attitude not helping his current number of sleeping hours.

His hair matted against his neck as he looked up into the shower head. Each individual crystal of water went in slow motion as his head burned and his sleep deprivation affected his mind. He had managed to get three hours of sleep between two days. The dreams of his father's last days had been haunting him. Upon thinking about his father he sighed, reaching for the shampoo as he washed his hair.

The feeling as he lathered it through his hair felt good as the oil and grime was washed away. Then without a delay he took the rag and soaked it in water, then applied ample amount of body wash and lathered his body until it was completely covered in suds and stepped directly under the shower head. With his body absolutely clean he turned the shower off and stepped out. His feet flicking off little droplets as he stepped onto the floor. He shivered as the cold air greeted him and then smiled as he heard a voice in his head.

"Well now, don't you look much better clean?" Benihime said, her voice caring like a mother's but seductive like a lover. He had left his cane in the bathroom as well, the can that contained the sword in which Benihime the summon was trapped. Urahara laughed, and as he did so his white blonde, shaggy hair moved with him. "If you think so Benihime...Ara..ara...ara...... Your just a peeping tom" he replied aloud, running his hand through his hair.

After he finished speaking a light knock on the door, he walked towards the small cabinet that was in the far corner first and opened it, looking for a towel. Then after selecting the one of appropriate size he wrapped it about him and opened it. One of the Shuheii maids had came with a new set of clothing, an older yet still fine pair of clothes that Urahara loved very much. He smiled at her and took the clothing, the rush of the cold air making goose bumps on his chest. "Domo...." he said as he closed the door and began to change.

Once he had finished the steam from the heat of the shower had cleared and the mirror had been wiped down with the towel. Urahara could clearly see himself in its reflection. His green Hakama with white diamond stripes, his blonde hair dry and taking its natural form upon his head. Then he looked at his light green robe which was under his hakama and upon further examination, his green slacks. Looking down he examined his Geta and smiled. They were his favorite pair of sandals, today would be a grand day he thought to himself, smiling.

Then he looked back up, examing his face in the mirror. His face was flushed from the heat of the shower, the deep red of his eyes had faded to a dark pink and the bags a bit less pronounced. His chin hairs were everywhere and he decided to shave them. The razor smoothly running across his shaving cream lathered face. Upon finishing he experimentally rubbed his chin and felt how smooth it was, the prickles of the short hairs slightly pleasant. Satisfied he walked out of the bath room, cane in hand, hat on head, and geta to floor.

Now at the front gates to the Shuheii compound he took in a deep and refreshing breath. The aroma of trees and water filled his nostrils. He was very happy despite the dull burning sensation in his brain and his obvious lack of rest. He walked for a few miles, working up a light sweat in the heat. His hat was serving its purpose by shielding his eyes from the ever abusing sun. He entered the main road of the village and took the lively scenery.

There were many academy students running around, dozens of adults murmuring to one another. They passed him glances as he walked by, his sandals, hat, and cane attracting attention as he walked. He simply smiled at continued on. It was a boring trek but he finally managed to get to the botanical gardens.

He assumed that he would be the last one there; he hoped the lack of sleep wasn’t obvious on his face. Urahara was truly excited to meet his teacher and squad members. Then, thinking about new people he remembered the fun time he had experienced a few days ago with Koori, Seiga, and Miku. He wondered if she was his instructor.

After walking within the gardens he found two other people talking already. He then started to twirl his cane and put on his best of smiles. When he came within range he spoke, his voice strained from exhaustion but friendly and aloof. “ Ara ara ara ara……hello and good morning…….., my name is Shuheii, Urahara, if you’re my teammates then you may call me Ura-san or anything else you’d prefer.” He took long pauses as he transitioned from one phrase to the next. Then as he spoke he noticed the cat in the corner of his eye and thought nothing of it.

Rei kept one eye open as all of her ninja slowly showed up. The day was getting warmer as she sat there and the first ninja showed up. A little blonde girl with electric highlights was walking up. That girl looked interesting to say the least, with her mix between the Hyuuga Byakugan and the natural hint of blue added. Rei almost stood up, but her comfort where she was already laying was too much for the moment. The little girl started wandering around, seemingly searching for people. Rei continued to examine her with the one eye she had open, and thought to herself, Why does she not just use her doujutsu. If she believes her natural gifts aren't to be used as a crutch, Il have to teach her different than that. Rei had always believed in using the abilities one was born with to the fullest extent they can be pushed. If this girl had full control of the byakugan, she would learn that it was time that that gift be used for anything her little blonde head wanted it to be. Rei watched just a few seconds longer before her ears picked up more footsteps entering the area. This time, it was a boy.

He was tanned nicely, but not to the level that Rei was, not even close. He wore a shirt that opened in the front, revealing a very tone figure. Rei noted that fact and figured it was from practicing taijutsu in the Kumo sun. She figured that was the fact, but didn't assume that. The jounin would ask them all their main focus as ninja anyway. The few seconds her cat form sat and waited made her all the more impatient. The last ninja's footsteps were within Rei's earshot, and she stood quietly, stretching her muscles in her cat form before circling around while the last one entered. He looked even more different than the other two, with his cane, which Rei assumed he didn't need for walking, and his unique-looking green striped hat. He also had blonde hair, but his was a sandier blonde that covered parts of his face. It seemed a good enough time to enter as they introduced themselves, so Rei moved around the group and released her transformation jutsu, showing herself.

" Nice of you all to join me. First things first." With that, Rei slid around behind Hana quick enough the genin would have time to react and felt her chest quickly. A frown spread across her face, before a bright smile appeared behind it. " Those are only a 2. But don't worry, you will grow... at least I hope so." A quick laugh escaped Rei's mouth before she got back down to business. Taking a step back around in front of all three ninja, she started to speak again. This time, she was lighthearted but serious all in the same tone. It was almost tangible in her voice. " Well, with that finished, I should probably ask each one of you a little about yourselves. You can be specific or vague, but I expect to at least hear your specialties as ninja, and who you are. Also, any abilities you might have that I should know about." Rei glanced into the little girl's eyes for a second, then finished what she was going to say. " You can take a second to compose yourself if you want. Im a bit exotic, so you will have to get used to it."

Hana continued to search around the garden, her mind now caught up in the beauty and the aroma. The familiar smells of her favorite herb to be used in meals, the Prunella vulgaris, with a bit of curiosity the young kunoichi lifted up her nose and followed the scent. As she neared she placed her eyes upon the "holy herb" she smiled for it was ripe for the picking, yet she knew that she could not steal it for it would not be right. So, as she gazed upon the leathery purple petals of the plant, she made a note in her mind to make sure to plant more of these helpful herbs in her garden right behind her house. Though, while in the middle of staring at the herb Hana was soon interrupted by the sound of footsteps entering the garden.

By placing the toe of her right foot by the heel of her left, and lifting the heel of her left up she carefully and eloquently did a 180, and stared at the intruder who was on his way. Her eyes softened up as she glanced at the boy from behind her sunglasses, clearly he was a genin and possible could be in the same squad as her. Although sunglasses may change how things look, she could still tell that this man was clearly tanner than herself easily, from what she could tell by the way he moved and his physical finesse he was a taijutsu user, and another thing she noticed by the calluses clearly noted by her trained eyes that he had trained himself in the art of wielding some type of weapon and was possibly used to suffering blows from a similar weapon. As the boy came closer she noticed how each strand of his hair seemed to be in the right place, that meant high-maintenance, which didn't have to be a problem, but high-maintenance is always usually followed by arrogance or shyness.

"You wouldn't happen to be a member of Squad Bravo, would you?"

The formality of his words, and the slight quiver in his lip before performing the smile easily noted to Hana that he was shy; yet he made quite the charade of acting like he wasn't. A sudden epiphany hit Hana, as she realized instead of answering she stood there and was analyzing the young man like a stalker. Good thing he can't see me studying him with these sunglasses. She thought as she non-chalantly placed her hand behind her head, and made the sweetest smile she could muster up, yet the slight quiver of her lips the same mistake the boy made hit her, before she smiled. I hope that wasn't too noticeable. She thought as she continued to smile dumbly.

"Ya...ya i..i'm in Squad Brave...what's..your name?"

These words seemingly had to be forced out of her mouth, as all confidence alluded her. Her arm fell down to her side, the same time her smile did, as her head drooped down again. He probably thinks i'm stupid now! An inaudible sigh escaped her lips, as yet another boy entered; with his shaggy blond hair, cane that obviously from how he walked was not from being handicapped, and his strange attire. Her head did a slight tilt as she stared at the boy entering, like the boy before him she was studying him; a force of habit that usually got her in trouble and yelled at. He to like the other boy seemed to be well toned from possible taijutsu training, and sleep was still clear in his eyes as he walked over closer to her.

Yet, Hana just didn't have the time to study the boy any longer as a cat jumped out, and seemingly changed into a human. Shock was clear on her face as the woman gracefully slid around Hana, and gently grasped her breasts. The minute the woman placed her hands on Hana the shock disappeared and her adrenaline began to rush, and before the woman could leave Hana activated her byakugan sending the sunglasses off her face; as she stared at the woman. The woman seemed to have a weird chakra color as it was white, while everybody else's was blue, also it could be easily noted that from her immense chakra that she clearly was either a jounin or a high chuunin. All these thoughts began to come together, as she heard that her breasts were only a 2.

A slight blush came over Hana as her byakugan deactivated and her milky white eyes diverted away from all of them. This was clearly not going to be a good day, Hana thought as her eyes slowly started staring at the ground; not only did she guess that her teammates where going to laugh at her, but now she had to show off her meager skills that in themselves were nowhere as close as that cat transformation her sensei pulled off. Another sigh escaped Hana's lips but this time it was somewhat audible, right before she began her speech.

"Hi..my..my name is Hana Mai."

Her eyes diverted across the room, as she tried to gain some confidence. A slight cough could be heard as she cleared her throat ready to begin again.

"As you can tell I am of the Hyuga clan, but i do not restrict myself like many of my clan members with just the gentle palm style; i have branched out to other taijutsu styles, as taijutsu is my main specialty. Also to go with my taijutsu abilities i am also a medic, though i'm only a novice i can still be a big help in the battle field,"

Hana's head now was held up high, as she glanced into each of her teammates eyes.

"Also, I am sorry senpai if that wasn't detailed enough."

Her head started to hang low again, as she made a slight bow towards the exotic woman.

The smile that had been on Matsu's face since he met the girl grew broader as she told him that she was in his squad and asked him his name. This was one of the first times in days he had talked to a girl near to his age. Most of the others he had talked to were either way older than him or a little to young for his taste. This girl was just the right age. She looked about a year younger than him and she had a beautiful smile. As thoughts flooded into his head his cheeks turned beet red and he turned his face away from her, not wanting her to see him this embarrased.

"My name is...

Matsu trailed off as another guy walked up with a cane. He looked the newcomer over and took in his green striped hat and his blonde hair. The boy looked tired; there were bags under his eyes and there was even the remnants of sleep in his eyes. Matsu stifled a chuckle as he listened to the boy introduce himself. Not many people would come to their first team meeting looking like they hadn't slept in days. Matsu sighed and went back to leaning against the tree. To each his own.

Thoughts flooded into his head as he surveyed his two teammates. Hana seemed to be shy, like himself. She had even struggled asking him his name. There was also the quiver of her lip as she smiled back at him. He had noticed it but just barely. If he had not of been looking at her it would have went by completely unnoticed. The other memeber of his team, Urahara, didn't seem to have a problem with shyness. He had introduced himself as soon as he saw them. That was a good thing; they needed atleast one person on this squad who wouldn't be shy most of the time.

Matsu pushed himself up from the tree and walked over to stand beside Hana. As soon as he stepped up beside her the cat that had been sitting there suddenly morphed into a human and came up behind Hana, grasping her breasts. Matsu stepped back in surprise and smiled slightly as the hands moved away. The woman who had done it said they were a two. Matsu hid a grin and kept watching as his Sensei began to speak. She asked that they tell her something about them and what abilities they could use. The Kaguya smiled and waited his turn.

The wind had died down by this time and Matsu cocked his head to the side as he listened to Hana. She was a Hyuuga and also a Medical ninja. She could be useful in battle if she learns some more advanced healing jutsu. He sighed as she finished and leaned back against the tree he had originally been leaning against. His hands went right back in his pockets and he stared up at the sky before speaking.

"My name is Matsu Kaguya. Im originally from Kirigakure no sato but I moved here when I was young to get away from all the persecution. If you want to know more about my clan ask me at another time. Im a little nervous about explaining it in front of more than one person."

Sweat trickled down his brow and he rubbed a hand across it. He wasn't quite used to being the center of attention like this. Another thing was that he wasn't the greatest public speaker ever. Even though it was only him and three others his nerves were shot. He was slowly cracking under the pressure but he wouldn't show it.

"Another thing you should probaly know about me is that I specialize in Taijutsu. There isn't a day that goes by that I don't train myself to become stronger than I already am. I hope to become one of the strongest Taijutsu specialist in this village one day. I'm also pretty adept with a blade. I don't have one yet but I plan to get one shortly. For the moment I just use my clan jutsu to make a sword out of my bone. Thank you for listening.

Matsu bowed to each of them in turn and then went back to looking at the sky. That had been one of the hardest things he had ever done in his life. Fighting was no problem but when it came to speaking he became nervous and sometimes he could barely speak. A proud smile spread across his face as he realized that he hadn't faltered once while he was speaking. That was a new accomplishment for him.

Each of his team members had unique characteristics of their own as it should be with individual human beings. Some aspects of their personality were different but their physical dynamics appeared to be the same. Perhaps not in looks but in build, meaning that each gave the appearance of an adept use of taijutsu with perhaps a bit of weaponry. He pondered this for a bit, wondering why a group so identical in abilities would be net together. Usually it would be ideal to have someone with a different specialty within a squad, but then again who was he to question the will of the Raikage.

Then he realized he had interrupted the boy who was speaking towards the girl and put his hand behind his head "sorry..sorry, i didn't mean to interrupt." He laughed awkwardly and started to twirl his cane. "You know, i don't like being twirled twenty four seven....it gets a bit old." Benihime said within his mind, he squinted with an annoyed expression, to others it would seem as if it were directed towards them, when in truth it was directed against Benihime. "Shut up, I can twirl the cane if I want, besides its my cane, and your sword...so until I unsheathe the sword..tis my cane." he thought to himself. She laughed and replied "You’re so childish." her tone one of amusement.

His eyes squinted when the other boy tried to hide his laughter. "Oro...oro...What’s so funny?" he asked, his voice non chalet and playful. Ura didn't remember doing anything worth laughing about...he frowned a bit in mock depression and began to scratch his head then when he looked past the boy and noticed that he hadn't directly spoken to the girl. Ura, being so tired and absorbed with the scenery had not noticed the young kunoichi staring at him through her glasses. "My apologies...I wasn't ignoring you."

He offered her his hand in a friendly handshake when something stirred from behind him. He brought his cane up behind him so quick that the air made a whooshing noise as it swept, but lack of sleep had made his reactions slow and caused him to be a few seconds short, not to mention whoever this was had a definite amount of speed greater than his.

The force of his initial strike had stripped him of what little energy he had left, causing him to lose his balance and fall on his butt. "my...my...seems I’m a bit tired..." He said quietly but still perhaps audible, his hat falling over his eyes. He sat up a bit, hands behind him and supporting his upper body. Lifting up his hat he took notices of the kunoichi that stood behind her and laughed when he noticed she had felt the other girl's breasts. "ara...ara...ara...my sensei is a hentai freak...." he said, a light chuckle escaping his lips. "Exotic is not quite what i would call it...." Urahara replied, still amused with the whole turn of affairs. He stood up, using his cane as leverage to find purchase on the ground.

He smiled when the girl spoke, her tone was obviously forced and he thought her attempt at being non timid was quite cute. After she finished he replied by tipping his hat and saying "nice to meet you Hana Mai Hyuuga....byakugan eh? I'll be sure to not fight you then." He smiled at the end and then turned towards the boy who had introduced himself as Matsu Kaguya. "Nice to meet you Kaguya-kun...bone you say? now thats more fitting for the word exotic." He did a cheese grin and then turned to face his sensei "Well...well, sensei-chan.....first i'd like to know your name before i give you mine...no disrespect intended...but that’s how it usually works.." He tipped his hat again and started to twirl his cane.

Rei liked how the events had unfolded so far. The quick, playfulness at the beginning with young Hana. The meeting of the two boys. They began to speak one by one. Hana was determined not to look flustered by the unorthodox way Rei had greeted her, but Rei just smiled and listened to her stammer through what she was saying. All and all, Hana got through her small monologue quickly explaining that she was a medical ninja in training, and a Taijutsu focused ninja. The jounin's smile grew larger with the medical ninja statement. As a Hyuuga, Hana was almost positively going to be good in taijutsu, which Rei would be very happy to help her with, considering the Hyuuga and Shihōin's chakra extending abilities relatively similar. But the big thing that excited Bravo Team leader was the fact that she got a medical ninja in the group. Med ninja were relatively rare with all the completely offensive ninja around, and to have one with you was always a blessing. The blonde girl with the byakugan was an asset Rei was extremely happy to have." Im glad to have you Hana. Your a fine asset to the team."

The other boy started to speak after Hana was finished and pronounced himself also a taijutsu and weaponry focused ninja. This was decent, as Rei could teach him the basics of a strong foundation for taijutsu. The Kaguya Clan was well known in their power for the hidden mist, so the bone abilities of this genin wouldn't be a surprise. The real question about him would be his past that got him to Kumo. In time, Rei figured she would ask him, but for now she would suffice with his own little explanation of running from persecution. He also professed to want to be the strongest taijutsu user in the village one day. This also gave Rei a bright smile. " The day that you pass me and the Raikage herself, you may have that title. It will be a long hard journey, but I will believe in you if you prove to me that you are willing to push yourself to and past your limits. Its nice to meet you Matsu."

During the initial exchange that ended in the fondling of Hana. The boy with the hat on fell down in an attempt to catch Rei. She almost laughed at the time, but he had fallen back in line and the others had started to speak. Now the attention reverted back to him, and he spoke, telling Rei that she needed to tell him her name first and that was how it worked. Rei almost smacked her palm to her face in annoyance. This would have to be corrected quickly. If a team went on a mission with people acting this way, it would result in failure of the mission and possibly death. " Well genin-kun. Im sorry, but that is not how it works with me. I was planning on telling you my name as soon as you finished, but apparently you don't trust your own new sensei enough to even grace her with your name..." Rei looked slightly frustrated, but lightened back up. " My name is Rei Shihōin, your new sensei. Im not generally interesting, but im sure you will find out more about me than necessary as we get a feel for each other anyway."

The sun got higher up in the sky, and the day grew a little warmer. Rei decided that it was time for a demonstration of the skill level of the genin. They didn't seem like they wanted to really train just yet, and the best training was always a mission anyway. Just to get an idea of what they could do, Rei spoke. " I think its about time that I see what you three can do. I want a quick spar. Just show me the basis of your moves. Each of you can attack individually or together, it wont matter much on my analysis of your movement." When she finished speaking, Rei's eyes started to glow a bright white while she waited for them to show her their abilities.
