| How was this possible? Never in his young life did he imagine he would see his whole team slaughtered before him. The sheer terror he felt as one of his fellow Leaf Shinobi stepped on a mine blowing him to pieces, and hurdling Ganta back against a tree. He himself escaping with only some minor cuts and bruises, but two of his other comrades weren't so lucky as ones right arm was blown right off with part of his face. The other was pierced right through her chest with a piece of mettle from the mine. She choked off her own blood as she slowly began to fade away.
Two other four-man-cells from the leaf were nearby and was there almost in an instant. Ganta couldn't completely make out what was going on. His ears still ringing and his vision still couldn't see more than ten meters ahead clearly enough. But from the movements he could tell that they had encountered the enemy. However they were at a disadvantage this being cloud territory, and already loosing most of one of their cells. It wasn't to long before his senses began to return to him, but by time he had gotten up only two cloud ninja remained, and no leaf but himself. Both had two foot blades in their hands, and charged at him.
It wasn't long till they were both disarmed and killed off though. The first one to reach him had underestimated his speed and strength and knowledge of the body as Ganta slid into their downward slash punching their wrist with the blade causing them to release the blade. As the blade fell Ganta caught it, and before the shinobi could react turned around back facing him enemy and stabbed him straight through their gut. He then quickly pulled out a kunai from the enemy's pouch and turned around throwing the kunai at the next shinobi.
The easily deflected it into the air and tried to slash at Ganta, but stopped short as they were ran through from behind with a katana. As their body fell one of the leaf shinobi that came to his aid stood, but soon gave in as they could not withstand the lost of blood from their fatal wound to the stomach. Ganta took the blade with him and rushed to the shinobi seeing the wound, and knew there was nothing he could do. They had lost to much blood, and would not survive with his level of medical justu. He stood up observing his surroundings as bodies laid everywhere in the clearing and surrounding him were woods fifty meters in all directions. The sounds of battle could be heard everywhere now in the woods as leaf forces were now attacking the cloud. He looked at his clothing the standard war uniform for the leaf was covered in blood. A black vest with green pants and shirt. He had a but bag, and his medical equipment with him. He now had a two foot sword in his arsenal though he didn't know how to use it well. Black open toes sandals, and his headband on his head. He took his fellow ninja's but bag adding to his arsenal and began to leave the clearing. |

| The sun was bright and cheerful, betraying the absolute carnage lying just out of its sight in the treeline. It was war, something most ninja spent their whole lives preparing for but never experiencing. Screams of terror riddled the air, their numbers almost equal to that of the dismembered limbs and cold bodies scattered about. There was a certain order about the chaos, most of the battles concentrated into three massive throngs of blood and gore. At the center of the largest battlefield was Keisuke, his body concealed expertly within the confines of many trees shadow. The view from his perch allowed his to see the entire battle as it played out, his attention drawn to where many Kumo ninja were being killed.
Upon closer inspection he found himself looking at a rather tall male, his features unremarkable and barely distinguishable at such a distance. Said Konoha-nin was currently slaughtering the forces which had obliterated his squad, using his enemies weapons against them in a flurry of instinct driven attacks. To a trained professional of the blade it was obvious the shinobi had little to no experience with a blade, his attacks random and about as precise as an earthquake. Regardless he managed to shake off the Kumo nin and defeat them, leaving him alone in the clearing.
Despite his own situation Keisuke was itching for a fight, the last show of power rendering the other teen interesting in his own right. Moving silently he jumped from his shadowed branch, landing landing on the earth below with a soft thud. Now only a few yards from the K-nin he studied the man, observing his movements with a careful eye. Eye narrowing he struck, flicking a kunai towards the ninja, watching as it imbedded itself in the ground mere inches from the ninja's feet. there he waited, wondering what type of response the ninja would give. |

| As Ganta moved through the opening he noticed something flying in his direction. It was much but a brief flicker of light, but enough to make him turn bringing the blade in his hand up in defense. To his surprise the weapon being a kunai landed right in front of him as if not intended to kill him. He looked in the direction in which it came from to find a Kumo ninja standing in the tree line. Most ninja would try to avoid battle, or kill quickly like Ganta preferred. But this one seemed to want revenge. Or that's what Ganta thought.
Ganta was weighing his options which were all looking a bit slim. The ninja seemed he had decent enough aim so if he tried to turn and run he might find a kunai or shuriken in his back. He had been able to conceal himself most ninja learn to do that, but he must be strong if he just revealed himself like that. Even that or he's completely stupid. Either way running wasn't an option. What about stalling? Even if he did the others were surely to busy to help. Fight it was then.
Since Ganta didn't have any actual ninjustu and no where to really hide he would have to rely on his poisons and taijustu to get him through this. As Ganta began to ran he switched his blade into a sideways defensive position. When he drew close enough he slice at their head but wouldn't stop there. As he would perform Leaf Violent Wind by sending a powerful low kick. As he spun around he take an explosive tag out of his pouch, and wrap it around the hilt of the blade, and stuck it into the ground pushing off of it and jumping away as far as he could before it exploaded heading towards the tree line which was now thirty meters away.

| Golden eyes narrowed in the dim sunlight, the teen responding exactly as planned. For a moment the male scanned the area, first locking onto the small kunai then slowly traveling up to his own shadowed form. For a moment he paused, indecision clearly written across his face. At that moment Keisuke made his move, his bandaged hand wrapping tightly around the hilt of his massive zanbato. With a flick of his thumb the restrictive leather binding the weapon fell, Suigetsu coming free in a flashy flourish as the Lunar Nightmare brought it to bear.
Just as he completed the action the K-nin launched forward, closing the distance between them within seconds and lashing out with the katana in a rather sloppy slash. Instead of engaging Keisuke instead leaned backwards ever so slightly, allowing the blade to glide by his masked visage with a hairs breadth in between. before he could retaliate another attack came, this one a chakra enforced sweeping kick. Leaping backwards he narrowly avoided the powerful attack, knowing full well that engaging such a technique head on was not wise. His eyesight flickered, golden orbs locked onto the blade now buried in the ground mere feet from his position, the hilt sizzling malevolently.
Using a newly acquired tactic he slammed his large blade into the ground, using it as a makeshift sheild as the tag detonated. The explosion rocked the area, leaving him mildly uncomfortable but otherwise untouched as his metal weapon protected his frame. Smoke and debris riddled the air between him, only the silhouettes visible through the smog. Using it to his advantage the missing nin grabbed his second blade, drawing Masamune silently even as he prepared to launch it. with a mighty heave the weapon flew, its metallic length streaking through the clouded air on a collision course with his enemy. With that settled Keisuke grabbed the length of chain connected to the hilt, grasping it tightly in his left hand as he freed Suigetsu from her earthly prison.
Still hidden within the confines of the smoke Keisuke waited for his time to strike, watching the outline of his opponent with the utmost care. |

| As Ganta was running he heard a strange sound different from the sound of rocks, and his feet hitting the floor. Like something flying through the air, that's when he turned around to find a large blade only ten meters way. *Splat* the sound of the blade piercing his body could be heard. He dropped to the ground motionless as the blade was lodged in his back. To the normal human eye it would look like he was dead, but to those more trained they would know what really happened. After ten seconds a cloud of smoke would appear from where the body was. After the smoke had cleared a body would still be there, but wasn't Ganta's. It was one of the dead Cloud ninja not to far from their position. At the last second Ganta substituted his own body with the other shinobi to avoid damage.
Ganta now was on the other side of the field by now, ten meters away from the woods, but he hadn't forgotten about his foe. This was to ensure he survived longer. Ganta finally reached the tree line, jumping into a bush, and up a tree now staying out of site. 'Okay he survived that explosion so he isn't a normal ninja. Chunin, or Jonin level at the most. And ninjustu doesn't seem to be his thing. Taijustu seems to be his specialty, but can't rule out the possibility of him being able to use ninjustu just as well. That large sword is probably what protected him from the explosion, and that blade he threw at me. It was about fifteen meters with the chain attached, might be even more. I'm not good at long, and mid ranged fighting and he seems to have all those area's covered. My best chance is to get him into a trap that can kill him, or stay to close for him to touch.' He was quickly considering his choices, as he poked his head out to try and spot his foe after the smoke had cleared. If he seen him he would stay where he was watching, and move away staying twenty to twenty five meters away. If he didn't he would assume he was with in fifteen meters, and begin to move further into the woods using tree's as cover. |
