| As the title broadly asks: Are animals allowed to be used as a Genjutsu focus? I plan on having a small little fur-ball of a weasel hang out with my character, and I was just curious if the weasel himself was able to be used as a focus. He fits all descriptions of a focus: He's white and easily attracts attention, along with the fact it's adorable and cute so one can't help but look~ Of course, I don't plan on channeling chakra into the creature. Hand-seals and all else apply still; but simply using the animal as a method of activating the genjutsu as to not have to stare directly into the eyes of the opponent half the topic. I think Genjutsu Focus is the wrong terminology, but I don't know what else to compare it it. |

| I personally don't see any issues with this idea, however like connection through the eyes, the character has to not just glimpse him. He must fully stare at the animal in question. |
