| Chapter 2: Fight in the Forest Quiet, warm, and picturesque. Azien was astonished at how beautiful Tsuchi no Kuni's forest was, he couldn't puzzle together how such as lifeless rocky terrain could produce such a wondrous form of nature. The grass felt velvety under his sandals, the wind retained itself in a comfortable pace and the wildlife made themselves present behind every tree. Overall of the forest felt totally life imbued, Azien really felt at home. It had been a short time since Azien and his teammates dispatched from Iwa's Admin Building and was sent on their mission to Mizu No Kuni. For the most, it seemed exciting. Azien had never been to the Mizu No Kuni but from his textbooks and teachings he heard it was quite rough, yet tranquil in a sense. Mysterious swamp life, flora, and farmland all surrounding the great complex of the Mist Village, which was assembled in a castle-like structure composed of great cylindrical cones. He also heard the ninja there were very hardcore, it was probably true that Mizu was the home for some of the deadliest ninja in the world. Luckily Azien had a peace treaty from the Mizukage that would protect them from border patrol if it were needed, however, Nukenin was a totally different story. After spending quite some time with the other two lads in conversions, he learned about some of their abilities and clans. Hyuuga had the Byakugan and fought in some strange martial style that attacked tenketsu points, and the Aburame used bugs for combat, ick. However, both their abilities were exceptional for scouting, and Azien started to realize why they were really assigned this mission with him.
So here they were, making their way through the trees towards the coastal area of the Serene Forest which their boat rests. Azien pushed away some stray tree branches while continuing to take cautious steps. Occasionally a beetle would scurry under his foot to avoid being stepped on, and Azien wondered if Tane would be upset if he did kill a bug, hmm. Azien took another step nonchalantly while humming a innocence tune, Click, he squashed a beetle which failed to avoid his foot, green and brown fluids flushed from its severed remains. "Oops sorry Tane, I think I killed your uncle," he teased as he continued his way through the trees. During the short period of time that they've known each other, Azien started to pick up some personality traits of both Hagane and Tane. Although they had their weird qualities, they both seemed like very decent individuals, and talented ninja so he'd heard. He particularly liked Hagane for his blissful personality and his unique kekkei genkai, it was very fascinating to say the least. Speaking of Hagane, Azien wondered if he was alright during their travel, he knew the bugs would probably be laying waste to him like they did himself. None of the bugs however even bothered Tane, which made Azien innocently jealous.
There was a sharp movement in the distance which Azien caught sight on a glimpse. A shadowy figure dancing through the tree bodies in a vanishing performance. In a instant turn, things didn't seem right, something was wrong. "Hagane, can you see something, I think there's something ahead." Azien said while gripping his fan. |

| Hagane and his newly found teammates had just been released by Sayoto for their mission under the title of "Team 4." Hagane himself didn't understand what was so special about the number 4 because he himself was much more fond of the number 1. One was his lucky number and on top to that he felt as if he was always number one no matter the situation. Though his squad seemed to be a pretty decent group of misfits put together he felt he needed to be of some need to the squad. Hagane didn't take failure highly as no one did in his family. The Hyuuga were a promised clan full on genius and Hagane wanted to make sure this clans name stayed strong.
Sweeping through the forest gracefully leaping from treetop to treetop Hagane and Tane followed Azien as he was the eldest of the three and possibly most wise.. It was a fairly mild day not too hot or cold but just perfect for some good ole action. Hagane knew that if anything was to go wrong that Azien would take command a give orders as if the three had worked man times before. Hmmm, I wonder if this teams inexperience will backfire on us? Hagane didn't get nervous though he was more alert to the fact that anything could happen at any given moment. Too his luck, the unexpected was near about to happen.
As they continued their part to the temple Azien started to loosen up his attitude. He was becoming more disgruntle and rude much like the traits of Tane and Hagane himself. Squish, Azien stepped on a bug as if he didn't care of the fact that the bug was possibly one of Tane's decedents. Oops sorry Tane, I think I killed your uncle. Azien poked fun at Tane for a slight moment. Not too long after that is when Azien saw a shadowy figure in the near distance. Hagane was alert and instantly knew something wasn't right. In an offly graceful motion Azien smoothly grabbed a hold to his weapon fan and alerted the rest of the crew.
Hagane, can you see something, I think there's something ahead? Azien asked in a calm voice seeming as if he wasn't trying to alarm anyone. I'm way ahead of you Azien. Hagane had already activated his byukagan and began his search through the trees. Well, the enemy must have some jutsu on him because I can't detect a thi..... Hagane had an awkward pause in-between his words. Holy bologna that's big. Hagane said with a sense of caution in his words. I can't quite make out what it was. It's like I saw it then it vanished. Hagane was trembled in fear that in what he saw could possible be his last. Without any final thoughts Hagane could only ask for help. Yo, bugboy. Is their anything you can do in this situation? Make yourself useful why don't ya. Hagane was afraid he wasn't very much help besides the fact that he knew the thing was big and had some type of special jutsu. |

| Bandit Ninja It had been three whole months since the prestigious gang of nukenin reproached Iwagakure after their embarrassing defeat against a Jonin in the lake area. Like now, their tactics were similar, infiltrate the village with a combination of stealth and ninjutsu to allude themselves of detection. However odds were against them as the experienced Jonin managed to identify all of them as soon as they entered close to the village's proximity, and dealt with within minutes. It was a embarrassing defeat and a great failure for the gang to have their entire ambitions stomped by the hands of a single Jonin kunoichi. But this time they wouldn't fail. Regrouping themselves, the ninja trained more intensely to improve their techniques and their strategy. They have collected other nukenin from across the nation into their own, growing not only in strength but in numbers. Now consisting of thirty members, it was very large and their dream on assassinating the Tsuchikage was manifesting into something possible. That morning, the gang made their way towards the Serene Forest all the way from Wood Country where their headquarters are located. They were able to enter undetected by their mysterious 'Mirage Technique' which allows them to fade in and out of sight and possibly sensory. They moved fairly quickly through the valley treetops until spotting two young men advancing towards them on foot, oblivious to their movements. From the two boys age, they assumed that they must be young and inexperienced and would be a cheap and easy steal. They positioned themselves in large circle around the boys and waited for the leader to signal the robbery to commence.
In the highest tree, the leader signaled three members to confront to boys who've stopped in their trail. The followers nodded their head in understanding and fell from the trees to engage in fight. If push comes to shove, the boys would have to fight them a few at a time. Would they be able to handle that?
The Fight Begins Azien One of them dropped a few feet from Azien while the other two at Hagane. Azien was very alert and perceptive and immediately drove out his fan. The steel-paper coursing through the air and a gust of wind being summoned in it's presence. Both Azien and the nukenin eyed each other for a second in a silent stare of who would make the first move. The nukenin was the first, and he initated by utilizing a few handseals and throwing a shuriken at Azien. The shurkien multiplied rapidly into dozens upon dozens and they all paced towards Azien very quickly. With a smirk, Azien repelled all the shuriken with a swing of his fan which also left the nukenin flying through the forest ans slamming into a tree. He heard grunts in the trees above and soon noticed that more were dropping down.
Hagane Two very large men dropped down a few feet from Hagane and slammed into the ground with their incredible muscle weight. They were three times the size of Hagane and from looks, three times meaner. They smiled through their masks and cracked their knuckles in intimidation. Both of them performed some dynamic fist throwing attacks that would damage Hagane if they were to hit. They would try to tag team and kill Hagane through this encounter. |

| After pleading to Tane for some of his assistance he had come to realize that Tane wasn't actually at the scene. Tane then started to deteriorate away into many nano-sized beetles showing the fact that he chicken out of the mission leaving Hagane and Azien alone to face off in which could be anything in the forest. I knew that Aburame didn't have it in him. Hagane said with a slight pause after. All that big talk was for nothing. Hagane's tension had released as he felt he was now better than Tane in every way being that he dropped out. Little did Hagane know, but the mystery between the trees were still there and aware of his being. It was then only a matter of time before things would really get interesting.
In a near distance within the trees a few terrorist bandits that looked to infiltrate Iwa's village walls sat quietly waiting for their opening. These shinobi seems to be looking for some type revenge or avenge to someone death or a failure in which happened before. The seem to have their plan executed to the tee and the perfect jutsu in which to have success. With their mirage technique these shinobi could blend in with their surroundings making even the byukagan nearly useless. They even some how hide their chakra so that it cannot be seen. The only weakness in this technique is that when they move a blurry image is seen rendering them noticeable. With this technique and squad 4 in their way, these shinobi wanted to put their new jutsu to the test. Sneak attacking would be just in the grasp of their hands to do so.
Upon landing in front of the two younger shinobi Azien and Hagane the three attacking shinobi would reveal their identity. One was slightly older, tall, and slender. He had a six o'clock shadow that roughly needed shaving. Upon that the carried a toothpick within his mouth and wore a belt to shiruken. On his right wrist he wore a mechanical rope like mechanism with a kunai attached at the end that sprang forth and retracted at his own will. On his left hand he had sharp claws that reached across each fingertip that looked as if they could cut through wood with ease. Across his bare skinny toned chest he wore a suspender set of kunai that made an X crossing his sternum. To the average shinobi one would think that was a dangerous move. Not this guy. This guy was a weapon specialist and didn't seem easy to overcome. He attached Azien with a barrage of shiruken in which was just a warm up move to see what he has in store. Azien repelled the shiruken and the shinobi with his fan in which sent the villain flying into the trees.
Soon after Azien shortly dismantled the first shinobi two more them fell from within the sky. These two shinobi were very much larger in stature. They both seemed to have come from the same family tree in which they both seemed to carry the same traits. Both seemed to be in their lower twenties. They had small brown goatees with hair spiked 8in above their head. They were slightly shorter than the older guy but 5x more bulky. Singly these guys seem to be beastly alone, but together I'm betting their a powerhouse. These two however were more into the hand to hand combat. They had much or a power wrestling style and fought as a force together much like tag team wrestlers.
To open their fight with Hagane these two would begin throwing hay-makers at Hagane. These strikes were so powerful that the force behind the swings were taking chunks out of the nearby trees they had come into contact with ultimately knocking them over one by one. Hagane's first reaction to this was to jump back hopelessly dodging the blows. Hagane figured since they were so big speed would be their downfall. Little did he know but that was only a sneak attack to set up brother 1 unexpected flying close-line from the left. It happened so fast that Hagane didn't even notice that he had stopped attacking from the front to do so. Luckily due to his natural flexibility and quick reaction time Hagane was able to look and perform a back bend just at the nick of his head being taken off. Brother 1 went on stumbling to chop completely through a few nearby trees before taking a tumble to the ground himself. Hagane quickly regained his stance and focused on brother 2 as he seemed to be slowing down from his continuous assault. Hagane then knew it was their stamina that was the weakness. With one more leap backward Hagane threw one of the special flash kunai at brother 2 blinding him. He could only hope that Azien was looking in that particular direction because this flash would blind the whole area with exception to Hagane due to his special shades he wore. This flash would stall the already tired brother 2 long enough for Hagane to perform on of this clans special jutsu. Hagane then took the clan's "Gentle Fist" stance and went firing away at brother 2. At this point Hagane has the advantage of his opponents. Brother 2 was now taken out while number 1 was slowly getting to his feet. Maybe Azien would take care of him.

| Azien turned his head in a quick and graceful whirl. His silver spikes lightly slapping the sides of his face and falling down, revealing his intense hazel eyes between their strands. The large bang and explosion of light instantly made him on edge, alarms ringing inside his mind. The only weapon that could manage such a thing to Azien's knowledge would be a flash grenade, but in this close of range it would be detrimental to both parties. If Hagane had used it this close to the enemy, he could be blind, or possibly worse. As the flare dimmed and essence of shade came back to the forest, Azien seen Hagane perform his taijutsu assaults on one of the nukenin brothers. He moved with such swiftness and precision that Azien could imagine his hands being replaced by swift cobra strikes. The man was paralyzed with pain and quickly went down after the repeated assaults. Azien dropped his stare and rotated to the bushes where he heard moaning. He saw the other brother trying to recover himself by stretching out his limbs and rubbing his newly purchased bruises. Azien grimaced and flung himself the log, vanishing in the air. In his next movement, he lunged his fan towards the chest of the lying man and drove it right through his abdomen. Blood gushed out of the wound like a rishing waterfall, coating the fan and Azien sandals and a crimson coating. Azien held his famed merciless look in his eyes, and stood up abruptly to prepare for the next assault he knew was coming.
"Ridiculous! Our plans will not be stopped by two twits in a forest. Everyone, kill them!" The Leader commanded through the trees, calling forth a horde of flickers from his devoted minions.
"Hagane, get ready!" Azien shouted while unfolding his fan to full length.
Azien Three nukenin fell from from the treetops and landed on the ground in a perfect circle around Azien. They all kneeled in a samurai position, showcasing their finely sharpened katanas. Azien turned slowly and looked at his new enemies. It was very difficult to classify them physically since they wore such dark clothing and black masks, but in this situation it wouldn't matter, they'll be corpses in a few seconds. Azien infused his fan with his powerful fuuton chakra which caused it's image to distort by the growing wind current around it. He could feel the chakra sliding against itself in sharp successions, creating the wind blade on the fans edges which allows it to cut through anything. The nukenin on his left was the first to strike, she charged Azien while performing dynamic slashing motions with her katana. As Azien prepared to strike, the two others soon followed her lead, all charging Azien with their weapons. It was apparent that their goal was to attack Azien in all directions and slice him into bits, how foolish. Azien engaged into combat with all three of them at once, slashing and twirling his fan blade while successfully countering their katanas. Blood spurted through their cuts as Azien drove his fan through them like butter with the help of his wind chakra.
Hagane Seven nukenin decided to confront Hagane in his area. They casually entered his domain from the trees, swinging their kunai as if this job would be incredibly easy. The entire gang charged for Hagane, ready to cut his guts open.
