Maximum number of clones per jutsu

Seeing as my character has a perchant for clones, I thought I should get an official answer on this before I get myself into trouble.

Just how many clones can one form with a single use of a jutsu (esp. the water clone)? One per use, or any number but need to pay the full cost for each (ex 3 water clones from one jutsu costs 15 CP), etc?

I don't know of any limits, however whenever I use multiple bushins, including water clones, I always times the Chakra Cost by the amount of clones I've made, so if I created two, I'd simply subtract 10 Chakra. I'm not even sure thats correct, but it seems right.

Eh that's what I've been assuming too, but after rereading the descriptions I saw that they all use the singular form of clone. Plus after a little spat with another player who no longer seems to be here, I want to have an absolute certain that if it comes down to a dispute I'm doing things the right way.

) I still stand by my previous point, I believe for the total chakra cost from the amount of clones we make is the number of clones multiplied by the chakra cost of the jutsu; I don't think there's any limits to how many use, the only thing that will limit the number you make is the amount of chakra you posses. I've been doing it this way, and no one has said anything, so I believe it's correct. Of course, a staff member's opinion should be voiced here, that's just my suggestion.

Eh looks like that is the best answer I'll be getting. So now I just need a massive chakra pool to have my own private army.

It differs depending on what clone technique is being used.
In the case of standard Bunshin, I imagine it's practically limitless since those things are simple illusions and are very easy to make. Kage Bunshin, for the purposes of RP, rarely go beyond 4 or 5 since they're supposed to all get equal shares of the user's chakra and having it divided by any more than that would both make them useless and probably kill the user.

As for Mizu Bunshin, I'd think that it's somewhere between these two since they're much harder than standard Bunshin to create but don't have the chakra division required for Kage Bunshin. For the purposes of RP, I think multiplying the jutsu cost by the number of clones is fair enough. Don't forget though that all Bunshin techniques require chakra to maintain so you'd need a CP per post in there as well.

Actually none of them need CP to maintain as none of them (canon or approved custom) have a per-post count.

They are against the idea of Bunshin having chakra-per-post costs so I guess that won't be implemented. Anything else or can this be considered answered?
