| Silence gripped the young teen as he ambled down one of the many well traveled paths that cut through Yu No Kuni, his mind gripped tightly by the bonds of boredom. Not an hours time ago he had passed through a small settlement within the quaint country, allowing himself the rare pleasure of relaxation in one of the lands legendary hot springs. To say the rumors were untrue would be blasphemy of the highest caliber; Even one as dark and emotionally scarred as him found the place to be a paradise beyond the description of words. Even so he was not the only one with similar thoughts, and this fact became glaringly apparent as the hundreds of noisy tourists continued to bombard the heated ponds with reckless abandon for the duration of his stay. It was due to this that he had left on such short notice, forgoing any thoughts of ever returning to noisy money traps.
It was in this state of mind that he now traveled, his body at ease but his mind far from it. It had been nearly an hour since he had left the small villa and ever since he had yet to see a single soul. While normally this wouldn't even grasp the most minute amount of the Lunar Nightmares attention, he was somewhat paranoid after being surrounded by the massive hoard of vacationers upon his last stop and as such was keeping an acute hold of his environment. As it was he was already grasping the hilt of Masamune loosely, his eyes glancing about cautiously under the shadow of his ebony lochs. Golden orbs locked onto a large tree, its width easily four times his own and its height immense. On a whim he stopped, placing himself beneath the gargantuan wooden mammoth. Glaring upwards he unsheathed first Masamune, the Suigetsu, slamming both into the moist earth in such a way that they crossed in an X-like fashion.
From there he placed himself against the tree, pulling a small book before leaning back against the rough bark. There he stay, immersed within the world of perverted literature. |

| It's been several long months since Inoshi's mysterious return to his now desolated home, which was located not too far from the perimeter of the Hot Spring Village. Not surprisingly so, Inoshi was very disinterested, and unsympathetic, towards the ideal of his old establishment now being in utter atrophy. Needless to say, even despite Inoshi's monotonous emotional state, the energy inside the home was very caliginous. A faint, but potent, sense of dread tainted the air inside the house, especially the bedroom of his father. The memory of his father being assassinated many years ago was still powerful and very intact in Inoshi's mind. Coping with that ordeal wasn't an easy process, Inoshi seemed to have numbed himself of all the depression and anger that was expected to come from it. This seemingly turned him into some sort of human void of hollow emotion, with him being totally unaware of his sinister maturation. Even so, it was evident that some sort of emotion was present within him, seeing as how he was pressing his hand against the lacerated pillow of his deceased father.
Several hours passed, and during that interval, Inoshi, had taken a quick nap on the mattress. His sleep was a rather uncomfortable experience, but somehow he managed. When he'd risen, he coarsened his hair and relieved it of all the dust from the sheets, reverting it back to it's raven state. He performed a short contentation of stretches while walking down to the base floor, avoiding the holes on the staircase which led straight to the basement. He ignored all the dust and other apparatuses that floated in the air as he walked towards the window, a simple sneeze here and there was all he gave in return. He leaned over the remains of what was once a sofa and opened the curtains to check outside. One of his greatest annoyances were the tourists that came to Hot Sprint Village with no intentions besides plopping their fat asses inside the pools. Luckily, from Inosih's view at least, the gravel roads were clear of pedestrians, and not a single soul was present. Inoshi manifested a half cocked smile on his face, and proceeded out the door. When he finally made it to the streets in front of the home, he looked back at for a final goodbye. As he walked away from the establishment, his goodbye was returned by a headboard falling off the house.
Inoshi decided to proceed in a direction he believed to be south. Surprisingly, his clothing was suited for the weather at hand, because he was notorious for wearing the wrong clothing in the wrong circumstances. A jet-black shirt and pants was all that he needed that day, plus the condensation of the hot spring pools added some additional unnecessary heat to the area. It didn't take long for him leave the village and enter it's more primitive lands, and only killing four people along the way. It was a pleasing sensation to feel grass under your shoes after spending days on hard floor. He tucked his tanning hands in his pockets, and leisurely strolled down his imaginary trail. But, it didn't take long before something caught his eye that attracted his interest, an astray boy located not far in the distance.
Judging from his appearance, he appeared to be unaffiliated with any village Inoshi could think of. He certainly wasn't from Hot Spring Country with that dreaded attire, nor was it deviant enough to be from Sound. Whether he was village-bound was seemingly unimportant, Inoshi was more fixated on his two swords. "They look like they would sell a decent price." He thought to himself. He approached the boy in a casual walk, ignoring any kind of hostility the boy presented. He stood a good few meters from the lad, and pressed his hand against his own chin as he calculated the boy's physical stats. He assumed it would be an easy challenge, albeit he appeared to be in decent shape himself. Would he be a challenge? Inoshi didn't think so, however, he didn't overly underestimate him like he usually does with his opponents. He decided to break the ice.
"You have an interesting duo of blades, may I have them?" He asked bluntly, with a notably intimidating undertone.

| Despite having his nose buried quite deeply in his smut, Keisuke was glaringly aware of the approaching nin. It was not his footsteps, nor was it anything even remotely related to the five main senses. Bloodlust, pure and barely restrained assaulted his psyche with unrelenting strength. Even as the teen continued towards him, Keisuke was deeply regretting seating his blades in the earth. True, they were still easily within reach, however if this unknown nin decided to become aggressive... The thought was cut off as the man stopped a good number of feet from him, deceptively dark chocolate eyes meeting his in a brief but fierce battle of will. Even as his own K.I. began to spike the Lunar Nightmare took in his appearance. He was short for a male, at least half a foot smaller then he himself and, by the look of it, weighing significantly less. This was not reassuring in the slightest, smaller ninja generally were very quick and agile, making them increasingly hard to hit.
Suddenly he spoke, cutting Keisuke from his thoughts efficiently,"You have an interesting duo of blades, may I have them?" Golden eyes narrowed in both irritation and suspicion. Very few people go out of their way to taunt missing nin, even fewer living to tell the tale. Turning his attention to his sentient blade not a foot from him, he sent her his concerns,' Should we engage?' The response was immediate,' No, falling for such provocation is below you. You should know better then to fall for such petty taunts.' A smirk rose to his covered jaw, the humor gracing only his ears. Eyes still pinned to the awaiting shinobi he leaned forward, grasping the hilt of Masamune with practiced ease. "You seek to own my blades? A folly request to be certain. Now, I expect an explination on why you have gone out of your way to provoke me lest you find yourself run through." At this he dropped into a lose stance, Masamune held in his left hand even as it's chain wrapped up the same arm.
This was not an idle threat, Keisuke did not make idle threats. If this unidentified person thought it wise to poke the proverbial bear, then he would use his claws to tear him asunder. One piece at a time. |

| Rather than paying notice to the strangers fruitless excuse to what many would believe to be a threat, Inoshi, was still fixated on his two swords. Like a steady archer aiming their bow, when Inoshi set his mind into something, almost nothing could interfere with his thought frequency. Inoshi made note of the boys strange use of dialect that was more mature than his apparent age. However, he himself spoke with such elegance most of the time, but it was humerus to see that characteristic being displayed on another individual. His voice was also huskier than was expected, as if his vocal cords where blanketed in ice. But there was no time for an analysis, he was sure the lad wasn't going to be powerful enough for him to be remembered by tomorrow. Like a child being denied their candy, he withdrew his hand and somewhat pouted. He fretted the idea of having to kill this boy in order to get the swords, he didn't want to get blood on them after all. The thought of the swords having a protector seemed to make them more desireable. Nukenin Code 119:23 states that nin-tools that are taken from blood will always sell for a higher price on the black market. Inoshi grinned at the mental imagery of the sack of ryo being tossed at him in exchange for those swords, mmmm. His starless eyes narrowed into a sinister crescent, and the skin becoming bloodless. After a phantasmal grin, it was time to finally get what he wanted.
"My explanation? I like them, I'm going to take them. That is Inoshi's way." He responded coldly.
His eyes pulsated with blood and chakra, it was like they had a heartbeat of their own. Instantly they transformed into something more sinister than what this boy could ever imagine, the Sharingan. They radiated a hellish red light that demanded fear and respect from anyone who gazed into them. Although Inoshi's Sharingan was still in it's first stage, he was more than adept in using them to their full proficiency at their current level. Corresponding to the activation of his Sharingan, Inoshi reached behind him and grabbed his tanto, which was his new choice of weapon for close quarter combat situations, which surely this would be. He positioned himself in a stance similar to that of a samurai, despite not having intensive training with a blade. His silent pause was the invitiaiton for his opponent to make a move, for he would be ready to counter anything this lad had, and kill him swiftly and stylishly.

| The teen before him seemed nonplussed by his threats, something not uncommon in the shinobi world. Despite this Keisuke kept his cool, watching the male before him with a cautious, if not curious, eye. Suigetsu pulsed from her earthbound position, demanding to be wielded as the ever increasing chance of a battle ensuing mounted. Using the chain wrapped about his forearm he calmly whipped it sideways, catching the hilt of the massive zanbatou with practiced ease. A short tug later and the blade was comfortably seated in the steady palm of his right hand, carbon steel chain dangling loosely from handle to wrist. During this time their eye contact never dropped, seeming instead to intensify. Suddenly his stance shifted, his words setting Keisuke even more on edge,"My explanation? I like them, I'm going to take them. That is Inoshi's way." The response was devoid of emotion, not that dissimilar to his own. Not only that, but the teen seemed to share his style of speech, opting to carefully choose his words and arrange them in the most graceful pattern available.
Such thoughts were shunted rather forcefully from his mind as it was sent reeling. Chocolate turned crimson, a single tomoe rotating within the bloody pool as the most powerful doujutsu within the elemental countries was activated. Brows furrowed as the situation turned serious. Not only had this man dared to insult him, but also possessed the very thing he desired, nay needed for ultimate power. Even as the ninja before him drew his tanto Keisuke was moving, sheathing Masamune with a fluid flourish before tossing Suigetsu into his dominant hand. Closing the short distance between them he launched into a flawless rotating diagonal slash, followed closely with a sweeping kick hidden within its shadow. Keisuke was out for blood and no punches would be pulled. |

| "Such futile movements." Thought Inoshi, who was completely composed despite that the seemingly pressing situation he was in. Within his heightened visionary field, Inoshi viewed every movement of Keisuke with little to no difficulty. He was even capable of scrutinizing the muscle contractions in his hand, and arms, due to the weight of the swords. The onslaught Keisuke performed wasn't totally unexpected for an Kenjutsu specialist. Motions such as heaving his two swords around in a twirling fashion, and a secondary attack following suite in the shadows, was really predictable. Nevertheless, it would be imperative that Inoshi avoid such the attack to protect his eternally beautiful Uchiha face. Several ideas for an counter came to mind, and none of which ended pleasantly. In the fights current condition, with the closeness between the two, and Keisuke's choice in metallic weapons, Raiton was Inoshi's preferred choice of weapon. A considerable advantage he calculated was Keisuke's distance from the tree, which was a few meters behind him. Since wood isn't a conductor of electricity, it provided an escape route for Inoshi's electrical attacks. But, on the other hand, it was much more combustible when combined with some of the Katon jutsu in his arsenal.
Inoshi positioned his tanto directly in the pathway of Keisuke's diagonal sword slash. Furthermore, he channeled chakra into the blade, instantly electrifying it and imbuing it with a whitish energy. His Raijin Kunai technique was one of his preferred favorites for fights such as this, and you'll soon discover why. Both blades collided and greeted each other with a fierce clash. Sparks flew from Inoshi's tanto and he could hear a crack within it's metal frame. It didn't bother him much, a simple crack could easily be repaired. However, he was more interested in the side effect of the technique. What was unique about the Jutsu is that when it collides with another weapon, the electricity can travel down the opponents sword and into their hands, paralyzing it. Inoshi was sure that his opponent would be stricken by this ailment instantly, and drop his sword as a result, leaving him open for a kill shot.

In addition to that, imbuing raiton chakra into the blade gives it a paralyzing effect. Areas on the body that have been cut by the blade will become numb and limp for 2p. | Something was wrong. The teen had scrutinized his movements, something not unexpected considering his kekkei genkai. The reaction thereafter, however, was completely out of context. Pulling his own smaller blade from behind him the Uchiha dropped into his own stance, positioning himself to intercept Suigetsu. At this Keisuke narrowed his eyes in suspicion, his swing nearing completion with little resistance. Even under the best circumstances, blocking a zanbatou with a tanto would be nigh on suicidal, much less the sheer size would cleave the smaller blade in twine with little effort. Regardless of his speculations he continued his onslaught, bring the blade to bear with a ferocious one-handed swing. In the moment before the blade connected the tanto began to glow, an electric current dancing over its metallic edge. He had less then a second to register the danger.
The two edges met in a blaze of sparks, an immediate numbness settling over the entirety of his right arm. A muffled curse, followed shortly by the dropping of his blade, rang out from his covered maw. This did not stop him, but rather seemed to spur him onward with renewed vigor. Even as Suigetsu descended from his numb appendage he continued onward and into his sweeping kick, going for the Uchiha's vulnerable legs. Masamune was released from it's leather sheath with a flare of crimson, his muffler falling free from his face as he spun and grasped the weapons hilt with his remaining appendage. Another move, following in the shadow, was to quickdraw his blade towards the enemy shinobi in hopes of cleaving him in twine. For the first time since dropping his beloved weapon Keisuke locked eyes with his rival, the entirety of his face now visible without the security of his muffler. With some small amount of satisfaction he noted that the Tanto still held within his hands was cracked so severely that it was near unusable. 'Soon', he thought with no amount of mercy,' you be but a stain on my blade and those eyes will finally be mine...' |
