| I just know I'm going to get a well-deserved thrashing for doing this and making the staff revisit summons so soon but *puts on the padded suit and helmet* here goes everything.
When making the actual summons if their specialties are not ninjutsu could they still have the academy level ones in their list and do such "basic" techniques go towards the maximum known starting ones?
Also the guide has the following: "There is also a limit for how many Summonings a Character can have a contract with. This means, that despite having a Contract with the Whole of the Species, a Character can only access a certain amount of Summons." Based on the wording I'm interpreting that as meaning that C-ranked summoner would only be able to call one particular summons. Yet the next line is "A High Ranking Shinobi, who doesn't have Ninjutsu as his specialty, will only be able to have 1 Summoning Contract." Now that to me seems to imply that the upper limits are actually refering to the number of contrats a character can have and not the maximum number of summons. Which interpetation is right or is neither right? And the later how exactly does it work for number of contracts & numbers of summons summonable within a single contract?
Lastly, just how does a summoners rank what they can summon? The kuchiyose jutsu is C ranked and lists costs for summoning C to S ranked creatures - does that mean that a genin with sufficient chakra would summon an S-ranked summons? Or are they still limited to equal rank or lower?

| If I am not mistaken, Only naruto was able to summon A rank or so creatures. The only other Genin I know who could summon was Temari and the weasel. Even Jaraiya had to build up his chakra to summon the two old toads of I remember correctly. I think one would just die if he only had a Genins chakra and tried to summon an S rank person. But then again, I would be the least to ask lol just my opinion.
On the specialties, It makes sense that they should only be Nin, Weapon and Tai. Since these are specialties that any shinobi might have. But on pupets, med and healing, you cant just train a little, you have to be spec. Once more just my opinion. Though I have been horribly wrong before lol |

| Though I'm not 100% sure how the site's rules work, I'm just throwing in what I've interpreted.
1. In my opinion, yes they should be able to use those techniques, though I'm not sure whether they count towards the total or not. However, you have to bear in mind that most of those jutsu require handseals, and if the summon doesn't have hands or fingers, it can't use them. So really, unless your summoning is an ape, monkey, or any other animal with dexterious hands, it shouldn't be able to execute those techniques. 2. From what I understood, they mean that every ninja, regardless of rank, can only have a contract with one TYPE of animal species. However, if you have Ninjutsu as a speciality, then you can summon animals of different ranks, based on the prerequisite number. So, if you're a C-Rank with a contract for jellyfish, you can only summon one of them at that rank. At B-Rank, you can summon two jellyfish, and so on. As for the "Higher Rank - Ninjutsu = 1", that would mean that said type of shinobi can only summon one animal, unlike a Ninjutsu user of the same rank who could summon far more.
3. I'm not sure what you're asking here, but the chakra cost of the Kuchiyose is determined by the rank of the summon (if you summon a B-Rank creature, you use up 10 CP). Of course, one's character would be limited to only using summons of their rank and below, just like how it works for everything else. |

| Overall, from my understanding, Ulkira has done a great job at describing the system and answering your questions. Yay for Staff Help not being needed! (:
Nice one, Ulkira!
Are there any further inquiries or is this topic adjourned? |
