Unagai concept stuff.

Well I'm still workin on the clan but I'm kinda wanting a bit of feedback on it while I work on it so here is the clan's main Hijutsu. This can be deleted when I'm done.

Clan Name: Unagai (Surname with no meaning.)
Location: Any
Signature Traits: Tattoos visible on the hands and at the top of the sternum. As well as this they carry a few seals on the arms containing weapons which are used in tandem with the clan's technique.

Element: Unagai seal chakra.
Description: User focuses chakra from a seal of the Unagai Fuuinjutsu into their weapon then swings the weapon in an arch. This arc discharges the energy in a crescent cutter shape that flies in one direction for up to 5 meters before becoming harmless.

The user uses a D-rank ninjutsu's worth of chakra to make this technique. While it can be launched quickly this attack is generally used for sudden distractions, often being followed through by another, more powerful technique.

This attack varies a bit depending on the chakra type being pushed into the weapon. If the user decides to hold the chakra in the weapon it's a steady drain of 2CP per post until it's discharged.

Earth seal chakra: This type of chakra weights a weapon down a little and increases it's durability while the chakra is held. It cannot be discharged into a ranged attack but instead is discharged with more blunt force in a weapon's strike.

Water seal chakra: This type of chakra is also discharged through the weapon hitting its mark. It causes mainly water and cold damage to its target. Not visibly through ice and the like but through numbness in a struck bodypart for one post. This can be used on the user to help ease pain and keep him running.

Fire seal chakra: The fire seal's chakra is possibly the most used of this attack's variants. When held it heats up a weapon to a scorching 900 degress Fahrenheit. The drawback to this is that radient temperatures from the weapon are capable of burning the user over time. Holding the charge for one posts causes burns to the skin equivalent to a sunburn. Holding the charge for two posts will begin to burn the user's hands to second degree burns. Holding it for three posts usually results in the weapon being destroyed. When discharged the temperature spikes to 1400 degress Fahrenheit and becomes capable of scorching flesh if it contacts a body part. The discharge is limited to five feet from the weapon before any and all heat drops to being barely noticeable sharply.

Air seal chakra: This seal's chakra is similar to regular air chakra being used with weapons. When held on bladed weapons it is capable of increasing a weapon's sharpness. On blunt weapons it is capable of making the weapon less wind resistant allowing it to fly through the air faster. If this technique variant is hit with flames though the weapon will burst into flames for one post until the wind chakra is burned off.

Chakra Cost: 2 CP per post while holding a charge and 3 CP per discharge.

Kekkei Genkai: The Unagai clan focuses mainly on Fuuinjutsu and weapons. The clan's trademark ability is an attack that charges their weapons with specific elements. This is accomplished through meditation and chakra conversion. The main characteristic of the clan's KKG is a set of five tattoos. The first of these is the central tattoo, applied at birth.

This seal is known as the Ether or spirit seal. Its main function is to siphon off chakra to feed into the other seals. It is located in the middle of the torso and is the greatest weak point of the user. Any lightning natured attack that contacts this seal will scramble the user's chakra system for one post.

The first of the seals is on the user's chest at the top of the sternum and is called the Earth Seal.

This seal functions as a filter for the user's chakra, forcing it to change elements to the earth element. This is accomplished through hours of meditation in lower users. The cost of conversion is roughly 50 percent. Meaning for every 1 cp pushed into the seal the user will gain .5 so rounded up the seal will convert two cp's into one of earth chakra. This chakra is then stored in the seal. The earth seal is capable of holding more chakra from the user as the user gains more knowledge in the seal and grows physically and mentally. At it's peak it is capable of holding 25% of the person's total CP as earth element. That's not to say that this seal increases the user's totally chakra though. This seal will only hold the chakra in the system. The chakra in this seal is unusable in most elemental ninjutsu save for the clan's technique.

This is the second of the four outer seals. The flame seal. This seal functions in the same way as the earth seal but converts the chakra filtered through it into Fire chakra. It is located on the user's belly It is capable of holding 25% of the user's total chakra amount as well.

The third of these seals is the water seal. It is on the back of the user's right hand. This seal has the same conversion rate of 2 to 1 but unlike the other two seals this one and the air seal, being substantially smaller is only capable of holding 20% of the user's total chakra.

This seal is the final of the clan's seals and is known as the Air seal and converts to wind chakra. It, like the water seal can only hold 20% of the user's total chakra.

As totals go the amount of chakra a user can hold is listed like this. In this example a Genin's amount is used, 50 cps

History:

The Unagai clan has origins linked back to a beast of lore and legend. The beasts name was Houkou, a mysterious wolf god with five tails, each controlling a singular element. The beast was worshipped by the clan for being a balance of both life and death as well as being one of the few bodies capable of housing all five of the minor chakra natures. It took decades for the clan to evolve from hunters and ninja into an almost occult type of group.

They suffered persecution in villages for worshipping a deity many considered to be an omen of catastrophe. It was said that at every appearance of the wolf great calamities and catastrophes would occur. The earth would split and shake, great storms would whip up from the lashing of its tails. Great fires would scorch the land from its actions as well. When it could no longer be tolerated anymore it was said that one of the ancestral members of the Unagai clan captured the beast within a seal on his body. Over the years as the clan quieted and stabilized it was said that the beast was passed from clansmen to clansmen down the leader's line until at one point it disappeared completely.

The clan continued to evolve, stabilizing in time into a clan that worshipped the elements in a pure form. Among the clan five men of each generation would learn how to inscribe the seals of the clan onto the children of the families. For every village the clan was based in five of these men would exist, one knowing specifically how each of the elemental seals was formed and how it functioned within the body and this knowledge would be passed to the firstborn of each of the five founders. The ether seal inscriber was considered the founder in each of the villages because only his line had extensive knowledge on how all five of the seals worked. In the event that one of the four inscribers was killed the Ether elder would pick from the clansmen who would take his place and teach them how to perform the ritual required for inscribing the seal upon an infant.

As the clan spread out, becoming rooted in each of the major villages the main branch became nestled in Kumogakure. Recently though a scroll was discovered nestled within the clan's main house. In a renovation the scroll had been knocked free from a hidden compartment in a central beam of the house and when it was examined it was found to contain only a few letters on it, spelling simply; Houkou.

The Ether elder of Kumogakure decided to keep it a secret until his son came of age to have the deity sealed within him. It was at that point that his son, Sousuke was marked to be the wolf's next host.
