Not particularly sure how to start this, but I'll try to keep this short. I've enjoyed around 6 months here, but I haven't exactly been too truthful with you all. I'm surprised no one noticed before, but I got caught out last night whilst on Skype. To be blunt, I'm not 17. I'm 12. I'm sorry for lying to you all, and I'm struggling to remember why I even did; Amy already knows and was fine with it, but I doubt everyone will be as accepting. I've had a webcam and mic this whole time, they come built in on all macs. So yeah. Not sure were that leaves things.

I highly doubt we have anyone on this site who's shallow enough to discriminate based on age, but as Adam said, it's good to see you come out in the open with the truth.

And this matters how? Well beyond the fact that the quality of your writing had me fooled.

I'll let you in on a little secret. I've gamed alongside middle-age people and pre-teens and from that I've learned that age does not equate with ability or wisdom. Experience yes, but not the ability to translate that experience into understanding. Some of the absolute worst players I've had were "adults", and some of the best were barely over 10 (being that I use that age as a minimum simply because sometimes my players get a little... worked up).

If someone does give you bull for 5 years one way or the other, send them to me. I could use a few more practice bodies before I apply for my out-of-state vet techs license. Now if they give you a hard time for lying about the age... well you're on your own for not trusting us. Razz

Well, thanks for that, I guess, that was a much better reaction than I was expecting. Pessimism isn't always the greatest way to think, clearly. Also, Nuclear, your offer is... heart warming, really, but I don't think your services will be required.

Stop sniffling. You're getting snot all over my newly polish rail. Plus you're a few years too early with the age bracket used in the deepest circles of hell for torture. Kindergarten is for relatively minor offenders as kids of that age are rather attentive if energetic. It's around middle school that they become the definition of evil incarnate with the raging hormones and rebellious impulses found in older ones combined with the energy and short attention spans of younger ones.
