| ^^ since my char is going to turn blind in his life i wanted to ask about the blindness sc...
Name: Blindness Rank: C Type: Physical Based Physical Requirements: N/A Training Requirements: A 600 word training post is required to gain this special characteristic. Description: A blind shinobi is obviously unable to visually see or sense his opponents presence which is something that could be considered a disadvantage, however without having to rely on their eyes, a blind shinobi's other sensory abilities improve dramatically being able to fight and 'see' through motion, sound and smell.
so i have this... does this mean i have now increases smell and hearing? so i am weaker to sound jutsus and smelly stuff?
and hjow exactly can i see? can my char still know of positions from objects and stuff like trees and if... then how ^^? need these infos for rping ^^

| The best example I can give you based on how you 'see' with sound would be Animal Echolocation and Human Echolocation. For being able to 'see' with motion, I'm assuming it means something along the lines of vibrations. I'd basically take a look at an Avatar skill which is called Seismic Sense. As for smell, well just look at how dogs are able to track with their noses. Hope this has helped!

| Think Daredevil. Only on a much weaker scale. |

and thanks suijin ^^
well personaly i think that the Human Echolocation is the most logical way to see here in naruto since we could say that blind person do it by using chakra to increase their senses... well if possible i would go with that way to *see* ^^ and if that would be possible just how much better is my perception now? this should make it possible to see stuff 360° around oneselve... or? |

| Probably could detect most things around you but if the object/ person was in a 120 degree slice behind you it would likely be less accurate unless they were very close. Our ears are shaped so that we're best at hearing sounds coming from our fronts and sides but not so much the rear. Now how much chakra would help is up in the air and how much of that help would be passive versus requiring using an ability would be up for debate. |

| Only if the projectile was thrown from the air. There's also that Marvel superhero Daredevil's power. He could 'see' sound.
