| Well, it is official. I fell down a flight of stairs (17 steps) and have broken three of ribs. On a side note, I also hairline fractured two more. Because of my inability to sit upright for long durations of time, I will be away from the site for most of the next 1-2 weeks. I am sorry for any and all inconveniences. Thank you for understanding. |

| All that and you didn't get a punctured lung or a concussion? Maybe it's time to buy a lottery ticket if you have that much luck.
Lie down, sleep a lot, and follow the doctors instructions so you get well on time. We'll keep for a few weeks - we can always get B to incite us to bad poetry again to occupy the time.

| Seriously though, buy a lottery ticket. How on Earth you don't have a collapsed ribcage beats me. A speedy recovery to ya. We'll be waiting eagerly for news. ^__^ |

| I didn't know my love would trip you up so terribly. Falling down 17 steps Shows me you're commitment ready.
Those broken ribs are signs of adoration and I can't help feeling some tribulation.
Self-abuse, although romantic, is rather worrisome at best. I truly don't want us to relive Another case of Romeo and Juliet.

| The haze of numbness I have been trapped in since leaving the hospital is starting to fade, allowing me two things. One is the ability to form coherent thought. The other is pain on a level I never imagined possible. But my inability to cope with minor amounts of pain is not what I got online to write about. Instead, allow me to thank those who spared time from their day to show me a bit of care. While I know very few of you personally and none of you by face, I do appreciate all the support. It almost makes the throbbing ebb. Almost. Thank you all.
P.S For those interested: As for news on my condition I should be able to work within a week and a half, although my ribs won't fully heal for at least six months (A fact I found staggering and somewhat depressing as my job is also my hobby and passion). |

| At least you're going to heal, right? Better than being dead. |

Very optimistic. ._.
Anyway, Jei. I'm sure you've heard it all but I wanted to extend my support and sympathy for your situation and wish you a recovery as swiftly as possible with as little pain as possible. Don't forget to drink your milk and make those bones nice and strong again bud! <3 |

I couldn't find any words. But these might've been taken from me before I could speak. I can't say anything, 'cuz I used to uh, roll down stairs all the time.... |

I hope the pain is because you simply opted to not get a script for a serious painkiller or are in the time where the IV one is wearing off and you can't start the by-mouth one. Otherwise I want to know what hospital you were at so I can stay the heck away from it if I break every bone in my body. A pet comes in with a minor fracture and the vet at our clinic is already planning to send them home with a prescription-only NSAID like carpofen along with something like morphine or fentanyl. I would HOPE that human hospitals at least have the same concern for their patients pain.
Take it very easy Golden. You don't want to aggravate those ribs and end up back there for surgery.
