What once was (Aki and Matsu and anyone from kiri around 8 years ago)

The lone snowy white mist land of kiri dipped in the warmth of a sun light bathing in from each water droplet that passed though it, shimming forth the colors in the spectrum upon its land with beauty and brilliance. It held many bodies of water around its borders from its island isolation, rivers, banks and pounds all decorated the cities like road signs for tourists. Along such a outer river bank on the bounders of the main city itself sat a lone boy with blue hair and golden eyes. Bundle up with the fine priced clothing and a solemn expression across his elegant face, lonely and sadden by his own life. Aki’s wished only to have time alone in peace, just to get away from his harsh reality of being picked on and him being ridiculed for talents he had never wished for. It was a cause well versed on in text books and amongst the therapist that claim it all to a phase in one’s life, but for the boy along the water it was as real as anything he knew and probably the crustiest part of his secluded self. Even if the peaces was from the bullying was brief he wanted it so desperately however it seemed that fate was not so kind as a bunch of street kids recognized the boy and already their eyes filled with distaste for his privilege, gifted life style and his parent’s love. They all rushed over to Aki picking apart the snow and making sure to surround him. Aki turned from the noise coming at him, already shaking in fear of the twisted game that was about to start up again, he couldn’t even move his legs beyond standing as the tears began to swell up already within his gaze, shimmering away his iris while his cheeks turned red.

“ G..g..Go away!” he tried to mutter back at the gang before tripping over a stone and falling on his back. The three boys saw this opportunity and jumped on his arms and feet while his was down, pinning his little body to the floor unable to move. The leader picked up a stone close by, with malevolence in his grin of teeth he looked down at Aki with such disgust it was almost frightening for a child. The sound of the stone soon rushing to that of a hammer as Aki was getting smashed again and again with the stone upon his face, the blood rushing from his forehead and noise and staining the snow underneath, all the while the three of them laughing in pleasure.

“ Hahah what’s the matter? The poor little legacy not using that vast talent to fight back? And your daddies’ to girly for you to call for help? Haha loser, your such a worthless cry baby, a monster that should never have it existed”

Aki wept like his death had drawn close, the words cut as deep as the pain he was enduring on his skull and nearly as servile blood washing his pale flash. But no matter he could nothing do this situation, they were all bigger then he was and he could not bring himself to harming someone just for hurting him, he was taught not to hurt someone just for harming them so resorting to his powers was out of the question. He would just have to painfully endure until they got tried…or until he died.

Age : 30 Posts : 42

Twin lanterns burned, illuminating the small form of a six year old boy. The lone Kaguya boy walked slowy down the pathway that led from his home to the village of Kirigakure. It had been days since he had last laid eyes on the village due to the constant attacks he was subject to. The other kids in the village didn't like him because of his 'special' gift. Matsu didn't see it as a gift becuase he was constantly persecuted. His parents had been talking about moving to a different village for months but they had yet to take action.

Sunlight blinded the boy for a few seconds when he exited the dense forest where his family lived. It was early morning and snow covered the ground. The sun was rising up behind a mountain off to the west, lighting up everything in its magnificent path. As the light reflected off the snow it radiated up in a blinding light, causing Matsu to wince with pain as his eyes slowly adjusted. It had beens days since he had seen sunlight. The woods in which he lived were so dense that not much sunlight ever got through. It helped for when people tried to find their house. If they put the lanterns out most normal people wouldn't be able to see a foot in front of them. A smart thing since they were always being shunned for their abilities.

Matsu's feet made crurnching noises as he walked through the snow. By now his eyes had adjusted to the bright light so the pain had subsided. His spiky hair fell around his face and stuck up in every place you looked. Covering his arms and torso was a thick woolen coat made out of some kind of fur. His pants were tucked into the snow boots his mom had made for him and he wore a red scarf. All in all he was dressed for the cold weather.

Weeping reached the ears of the young boy as he neared one of the many rivers that ran through the village. Matsu sprinted quickly ahead and looked over, seeing a boy being held down and pummeled in the face with a stone. A gasp escaped his lips and he ran forward, grabbing the kid hitting the boy with the stone and decked him in the face. The kid groaned as blood leaked down his chin and dripped into the white snow, staning it red. Matsu shook with anger and pushed the other two off, seething.

"What are you doing!? You can't go around beating people in the face with rocks! Your gonna kill somebody!"

As Matsu ranted on the boy who had been hit in the face by him picked the stone up and hit the young Kaguya in the back of the head. Matsu fell forward, his vision getting hazy. He felt arms roll him over and then saw the three boys over him, all three of them punching him repeatedly. One was punching him in the face, one had taken it upon himself to go for his stomach and the last was going for the worst place possible; his groin. Matsu struggled and cried out, trying to get them off him. There was nothing he could do unless someone saved him soon.

Aki’s breath was silent and still for a few seconds after force upon his body stopped and he left there surrounded by red snow and the sounds of reality finally returning to his ears. He couldn’t hardly pounder what had just happen, he was sure death was the liberation he was about to receive but no, there Aki laid alive and still injured, feeling all which hurt him as he eyes opened from the fear to see nothing but the gray fog above. The sounds become clearly as Aki managed to sit up on his own, looking around for what was happening and why the three boys weren’t hurting him anymore, he saw them gather just a few inches away from his own red bath, he thought it odd as the blurring effect of his lack of blood faded. Finally able to visibly witness the three of them hurting another person not much older then himself, a stranger that had done nothing against them and looked to be one of them, normal. Aki was accustomed by now to being picked on but to see another human being treated the same way was just out of the question for him, there had to be some unity of human and so called monster for him for that was his tiny slivery of hope in this world. If even the peace of being normally had its own divisors of right and wrong then a monster such as him could never have a chance to become a normal person. His blood pumping faster once more in the adrenaline the showered over his body like a sugar rush. His forced his limber body into a sprint before talking over his entire psyche, an animal instinct that his kind nature declared he do anything he could to save this fellow victim. Jumping on one of t hem and biting down his arm with every fiber of his being Aki could even catch a second to think of what he was doing, he just ha dt to act and despite being a peacefully guy this was the only thing he could do.

Even as the taste of flash burning though his tongue was not enough for the boy to let go nor the scream of his bully or the punches to the face either, until the tenth once was delivered and aki’s cheek muscles gave out on their own and the one he bite glaring down at him.

“ What the hell is your problem, can’t a monster like you wait until your turn?” Aki just looked plainly at nothing as the haze returned to his eyes as he sat up trying to stand but his legs just wouldn’t obey. “ Le.. L…Let him go!!” his lungs busted in sound and the snow around him did as well. The snow formed together in a instance creating spike like pillars to surrounded the boy before melting harmless into water without touching him at all. The three of them all saw this near death experience, rushing off and leaving Aki and matsu alone for now. Aki could only remember the surging scream in his own blood’s call, with a stunned looked at the group his tears welled and poured while his face frozen in awe at what had just happened.

Kirigakure

Darkness slowly encompassed Matsu as he started to lose conciousness. What had once been pain had become nothing but a memory. The boy had no fight left him, there was no trying to protect himself or the other boy. These boy's that had attacked him were trying to kill him it seemed. Even when he had lost all conciousness and blacked out they were still pummeling him. Blood made a puddle around him, turning the beautiful snow into the color of death. No longer did the sun shine off of the snow near him. All that was left was complete and utter red.

Dream Realm

Minutes had passed by like an eternity in the realm of dreams. Matsu was being hunted by Shinobi in the woods that surrounded his house. He could hear their harsh calls back behind him, slowly getting closer and closer. The young boy cried with fear and exhaustion, trying to keep his legs moving even though they felt like jello. As all the energy left him Matsu fell to the ground and wept into the snow. Men laughed and cheered as they spotted the boy laying there. Matsu raised his head up and begged them to not attack. They ignored him and started kicking and stabing him. Screams echoed through the night...

Kirigakure

Matsu sat bolt upright from where he had been laying in the snow. A small scream started to come out before he caught himself. His eyes moved from the crying boy sitting near him to the figures running into the distance. He gasped, remembering what had been happening before he had lost conciousness. Pain exploded through his body as his memory returned to him and he bent over, holding his stomach. Blood poured from his nose and mouth, covering the snow at his feet. He looked at it, entranced by the smell and color of his own blood.

A bird twirped near them and snapped Matsu out of his daze. He shook his head and looked back up at the boy beside him. A bloody smile spread across his face and he leaned over and hugged the boy tightly. If it hadn't been for this boy he would have probaly died. Those boys didn't seem to have any intention of stopping until he was dead. It was a miracle that this boy had been concious enough to save him.

"T-Thank you."

Aki was blank and still lost at one had just happen, his body had just reacted on its own so he himself was unsure of what had just happened. All he knew was something had just saved him and his new found ally and somehow it was connect to Aki. Reflecting it for the silence at he lay there on his legs with the tears and blood rolling down, he hadn’t even notice that he was crying until someone had just come from behind squeezing him tightly. For a minute Aki was just in shock until the warmth of the boy’s body reached his senses and woke him from the unusual feelings, looking down Aki found that it was the person that he had just saved, a fellow stranger being harmed for no reason or fault of his own. Aki was rather uncertain the reason why this one was so caring while the rest of the children in their age group was so cruel but the feelings were rushing in like a flood. For the first time someone he could related and have a friend beyond his parents.

Aki threw himself down to hug the boy deeply in return as the water works kept going and going, finally he composed himself slightly and trying to be a little more grown up Aki sat up with matsu. He was at a lost for words quite honestly, this was the only time that he spoken to someone that was not a grown up and still a little upset with those three bullies. But he just wanted to not scare this possible friend off so he tried to say something normal.

“Yo..your welcome... what is your n...ame and i should thank you for helping me as well you got them off me in the first place right? So...Thank you”
