Mission Title: The Missing Fiancé
Mission Type: Generic
Mission Location: Fire Country
Shinobi Requirement: Genin+
Mission Rank: C
Mission Objective: A woman's fiance is a day late arriving home from his fishing trip and she is becoming very worried. She believes he is lost, for he even admits he is not very good with maps nor fishing. You are to look for this fisherman. He owns a small white boat with a yellow stripe across it and can be seen wearing grey overalls and a blue hat with an orange star on it. Bring him back to his worried fiance.
Mission Time Limit: 2 weeks
Min Post Count: 4

A new day, a new mission. This young teen was on a roll as of late and today shall not stop him! This young genin was again on a perilous mission for the village he lives in. This time he had to go find a man, his soon to be wife has requested help looking for the man that had left a day or so ago. The woman said that he had gone fishing, a perfectly okay activity but she also mentioned him not being good nor being good with maps. It worried the lady and since they were soon to be married, it was even more urgent to her that he be found.

So with his new mission scroll in pocket, he set out through the glorious gates of konoha and into the rest of the fire country. Now it was the beginning of his journey, but he has figured that the man would probably be near a river or lake, a good body of water that would have to have fish in it. There were a few that he could recall from trips with his father. These streams, rivers, and other bodies were to be checked first.

The first of site he checked was a small stream about half a mile form the gates into the hidden village. It wasn't too large, it only had a few smaller species of fish within, just the right about for a young doughnut lover like himself to get used to the wild life. When he got there, it was slightly different from his memory, the stream had risen a couple inches and a bunch of plant life had started to rise from the dirt.

The small stream was devoid of all human life, or at least for the passed few days. After a simple look around and investigating the grass for any signs of a person, he concluded the man had not been there at all. So the rambunctious teen ran off to the second area that he could think off, it was also the second closest in distance from the gates of the village. When the child had last been here, he was only about 7 years old. It was a neat experience and a rather popular spot for recreational fish, whatever people caught was thrown back. As of late though, his father had told him about the place becoming rapids and being used for another recreational activities.

As he strolled up to the river, what his father said was true. The waters were rushing fast through the area, anyone caught up in there would have easily been taken by the rapids and washed up further down. So it was plausible for the man to have tried fishing here or something and fall in. The genin went over to the banks, and searched around for any human made objects that were for fishing as well as the man himself. After a few minutes of searching that immediate area, but nothing was around, at least nothing that would lead to someone that had been fishing or fallen into the rambunctious waters.

Haruo had a feeling that this was the place the man had disappeared from, just not in the are he had searched. So he made the decision to leave the other two area's the had knowledge over to search down river for any clues. The day was still quite young, giving him enough to time search and plan any sort of rescue for the guy if he is stranded somewhere.

The genin spent some time searching around the viscous waters. The time felt slowed, like father time was aiding the boy in his search for the missing fiance. The native wild life didnt really do much except watch the ninja search and jump on him when he stood too still. However one group of squirrels were eating something out of an aluminum can. Haruo had to question himself as to why the animals had the can and what was in it. Possibly finding his first clue, he climbed up a tree to get the can. Luckily the squirrels got scared and scurried away so the genin didn’t have to climb to far up.

”Hm... Bread crumbs, my first clue to the missing man is bait that is generally used for fresh water fish, but why would someone try to fish in the rapids? Well ill never know if I dont search for more clues.”

He said after looking into the can. Most of the bread crumbs had been eaten by the woodland creature. The genin put the can down and began a search of the area. He needed more clues before making any sort of conclusion. Getting closer to the water, he noticed something shiny close to the bank and flickering in and out of the liquid. The object was a hook, and was connected to a line that had somehow gotten itself tangled around a sturdy root. It was his second clue, the man has been here and his stuff dangling in the water or scattered.

Looking down the bank, he saw more scattered supplies. There were a few fish left around the grass, worms scattered from a second can. Getting closer and closer, he moved down the edges of the river, desperately looking for the missing fiancee. Haruo shifted through bushes that were close to the rapids, He wasn't anywhere to be seen.

After a good half hour of searching, he started to hear a far off noise; it was like a zombie moaning, looking for brains to chow down on. Haruo ignored it for now as it didn’t seem important at the time as he continued to search down river for more clues and equipment. Every few minute like clock work, the moaning would sound off again, and it got louder and louder as he moved. The genin shrugged it off and kept looking. His hopes of finding much dwindled; the clues had stopped back where he saw the fishing pole and other equipment.

”There has to be more clue around here.... that can't be it!”

He said getting a bit irritated at the moaning that just wouldn't stop. It was time that he went and checked out the noise so he could get it to stop. It was really distracting and making him unfocused on his mission. So he followed the sound back to its origins. To his surprise, it was a man laying on the ground, face up, and bleeding a little from his head.

”Oh my... You must be the missing fiancee!”

He said and rushed to the guys side. The soon to be wed man was on unconscious and mumbling in his sleep. Luckily, Haruo was a medical ninja, or one in training. He pulled out his medical supplies and got the gauze and bandages ready to use. He wasn't too trained in the art of judging how severe an injury is yet, but bleeding from the head usually means something bad happened. He used the gauze to wipe the blood away; immediately afterword he prepared the hand seals for the only medical jutsu that he knew. It was a basic jutsu that any medical ninja would need to have and know to get anywhere in the field.

He placed his hands above the mans head and let the chakra flow from his hands to heal the wound. The wound healed with the chakra and the man woke up for a moment. He was groggy, tired, and in pain.

”Sir, can you hear me? What happened?”

He questions while getting his ear-piece radio out.. He was going to radio back and try to reach the hospital with it, or someone in the village. He searched frequencies, looking for help so he could get a medical team to meet him at the gate. After searching and talking to the “patient” he finally got a hold of the hospitals radio.

”Hello, this is Kawazoe, Haruo, genin, and im out on a mission. I have located my missions objective but he was wounded. I healed him the best I could but being only novice to the medical field and unsure of any other injuries at this time. Can I request a Medical team to meet me at the gate?”

The nurse and haruo discussed meeting and what had happen to the guy. With an agreement, hauro gathered his supplies and got the man up. It would take some time to get back to the village, but they eventually got there. The medical team that met with him took the injured and made haste to the hospital. As for Haruo, he went to the woman the man was marrying to tell her what had most likely happened and that he was in the hospital now. After this he went to the administration building to report in on his mission.
