THE INFO.

Name: Etsu Senju.
Nickname: Having a long history forged in the art of war and the spry eras of tranquility, Etsu has accumulated quite a few names of note for her involvement in the global politics of Ninja. Having traveled and fought within the Great Five Villages and even those which are still undiscovered, her titles vary heavily on her involvement on the certain village, whether it be positive or negative. However across each nation are three important titles she is known by, titles that will follow her to her grave and are remembrances of her divine legacy. They are as follows:

Lady Hokage - The most honorable title granted to her by the parting whisper of the First Hokage which granted her rule over the Land Hidden in Leaves. Because of her immense power as a ninja and popularity and military prowess, she anticipating becoming Kusakage even before the death of the First. But what really sparked the Firsts and Council's decision was her amazing role in the war the took place inside Konoha which led to her single highhandedly killing hundreds of men while protecting her village. Lady Hokage is addressed to Etsu through the mouths of every villager of Konoha, and they say it with absolute pride and honor for Etsu's tremendous role in growing the seed of Konoha to the strong tree it is today.
Lady of the Black Roots - A title Etsu is well known by on the eastern hemisphere of the globe where most of her rogue missions had taken place during her youth. The name first originated from the tribal people near Vegetable Country who witnessed her ability to manifest pure black roots and slay hundreds of men with them while still retaining such beauty and grace. Although they marveled the power of the mysterious woman they quickly spread the word across many villages which eventually led to Etsu even becoming a rumored monster who roams the forest and abducts people with it's roots. This title would be commonly called to her by villagers in the countries of Kiri and Kumo. Since no one truly knows the identify if Etsu in those countries, they would recognize her as the mythical monster once she uses her famed Kekkei Tota.
Etsu the Executioner - The renowned title Etsu is known by which was her official name in the International Bingo Book. When the ANBU of Konoha has failed to assassinate a target, Etsu would be the one the Council would call the finish the job due to her track record of never failing to kill a target. Since she was one of the last resorts of killing in her village, she became known as the Executioner in several villages. More interesting enough, this was also a title she went under when doing unclassified assassination requests from the black market for a short period of time.

Etsu has never considered herself truly beautiful despite the claims of many she'd encountered. In honestly she has that unique 'girl next door' beauty that isn't model quality but hones on a more natural and humble appearance which she oh so possesses. One of her most renown feature is her silky chestnut hair with hinted blonde highlights among certain strands to give it more luster. But one quality of Etsu hair which she doesn't like is that it lacks a healthy volume and appears sort of flat. She always sports her hair in a free-flowing style and prefers to have its length stay a few inches below the shoulders like her mother. Like her hair, her eyes and eyebrows are also a lustrous brown color. Her eyebrows are naturally thin and arched in a perfect position. When emotional however they can become rather animated and flexible and allows her to perpetuate emotions simply through them which is quite amusing at times. Her eyes are large but our half shown by her slunk eyelids which always give her a somewhat tired facial expression. Her lips are very small and are almost equal to her olive skin complexion, which makes them sometimes unnoticeable when sealed. All her facial features however equates to the sophisticated ruler that she is. A perfect combination of deathly beauty and with a small hint of gentleness.

Physically Etsu is rather short and well built. Every muscle on her body could be considered in Olympic level condition. She stands at a height of 5'2 which is seemingly short in comparison to other woman her age but comfortable enough to not heed great notice. Etsu has two dominant clothing attires within her wardrobe, one being her Kage uniform and the other being her own personal uniform for combat. In her Kage uniform she wears a white robe with a V-neck cut that exposed her fishnet-shirt that covers her cleavage. On occasion she wears a white around her neck that can extend to her waste on both ends of the tassel. To top it off she wears her traditional Kage hat with Konoha's symbol on the front.

Etsu's combat uniform could be considered traditional having elements adopted from the village uniform and the previous Hokage. In it she sports a high-collar grayish flat jacket, different from the accustomed green one in Konoha. Beneath the flat jacket she wears knee-length black sweatpants with two side pockets and two back pockets. As socks she wears bandages that covers her exposed leg space in between her black ninja heels and her pants. She is always seen wearing a green long-sleeved trench coat that never seems to stay immobile. Behind the trencoat on the very bottom is the village symbol stitched in green, large enough to be seen by everyone behind her. With her final accessory, Etsu always wears her kage hat strapped on her back, with two pieces of long white cloth dangling on its sides.

Personality:

Empress; Etsu is the embodiment of nearly all aspects that would define oneself as a powerful Empress. She radiates authority through her soft spoken words like no other. Captivating the minds of her followers and striking ear into the hearts of her enemies or those who challenge her. Every movement of hers is motioned by otherworldly grace as though she knows everything and cares about nothing. She has a uncanny knowledge of all political matters in Kusa and internationally which makes her a fine shinobi and political figure. Because of her both positive and negative popularity in the other villages, she is very matriculate of her actions and occasionally ruthless. She controls her ANBU with a iron fist and speaks to them in a stern and powerful voice. However setting aside her ruling side, Etsu is very friendly towards her villagers and makes sure their needs are satisfied before thinking of anything else. Her village always comes first and she will protect them at all cost, whether physically or economically. But in less serious matters, Etsu simply ravishes in the power and respect she has as the Kusakage. She enjoys being pampered by her secretaries and making others do her work for her.

Fighter; Is what Etsu truly is at heart. She was born in the plains of war and will back down from no challenger who poses a threat whether its passive aggressive or aggressive. She can be snarly, rude, and blatant with her words and fill find what gets under a person's skin. She is a courageous woman who will go to any length to protect herself and her village, even if it means putting her life on the line. However unlike many other rulers Etsu doesn't claim to be the best at her game, even doubting herself sometimes. But it is because of her determination and heart that she overcomes her enemies and becomes victorious at the end.

Likes; One of Etsu's favorite things to do would be attending the flowers in the gardens of Kusagakure. She has a deep love for nature and gardening and a extensive knowledge of nearly all species of plants. She usually goes to the gardens during sunrise after she sneaks pass her secretaries and bodyguards. She sees the gardens as a important part of Konoha's society and even herself. They remind her that life can be beautiful at times and to cherish every moment with your loved ones. She also enjoys playing a good game of chess with the 'youngsters' in the village. Etsu sees the young children of her village as the next generation and hope of Konoha. She loves and cares for them in anyway possible, and secretly worries about them when they're on missions.

Dislikes; Etsu doesn't have many dislikes given her rather calm nature, but one would definably be those who threaten her village and its way of life. There have been a few individuals in Etsu's past that had done so, none of them survived more than a minute after their claims. She would go to great lengths to destroy Hokage she has no tolerance for terrorists and has a good record of disposing them quickly before they cause harm. What she also doesn't like is would be when the Council makes decisions without her knowledge, even for small matters. There is a small drop of mistrust in the Council by Etsu and she prefers to stay on top of their actions.

Preservation; Is a trait Etsu possesses which is how she keeps her village and herself alive no matter what hardship they come by. She has years of experience and knowledge which gives her the ability to see through and counter any threat with pure clarity and precision. She can create and mobilize tactics quicker than the enemy can counteract which makes her a great strategist and a quick thinker. She has one of the greatest intuitions of her time which she uses to make needed split seconds decisions if they should arise. In the art of keeping oneself alive, Etsu is the greatest at this feat. Which is one of the key reasons why she became Hokage.

Combat Style: Etsu is extremely dangerous combatant who excels in all ranges of combat but is preferably more dangerous in long range encounters. She possesses a large array of elemental techniques which can suit nearly any purpose which makes her not only destructive but also versatile. However she is renowned across the nations for her Kekkei Tōta which she manifests as Kokuton or "Black Wood" Ninjutsu which is probably one of the most destructive forces in shinobi history. Similar to Mokuton, Etsu calls forth massive black wooden constructs with the ability to ignite whatever they touch, making it a great defensive and offensive ability. She typically uses it to trap, impale and incinerate her numerous targets rather quickly. Her skill in Fuinjutus is also talented although she uses it for more supplementary purposes to aid in her combat. In combat she prefers to keep her opponent trapped within her wood while burning them alive.

History.

Etsu was born into the noble Senju clan twenty-nine years in the powerful village known as Konoha. Being one of the founding clans of the village, the Senju had residency in two large areas within Fire Country, one being in the center of the village and the other near the mountain area; where Etsu was born. The Mountain HQ was a large tree mansion created from a mokuton technique by a clan elder. It was a large tree shaped mansion that grew around and even inside the mountain. The HQ not only held clan meetings but also was considered a second administration building during that time. Whilst so it was highly decorated with gargantuan statues and beautiful furniture. Etsu's family was one of the three Senju families that resided there, and she was born into a family of wealth, honor, and most of all, power.
In an adolescent age, Etsu lived very happily with her family, which conisted of both her parents, one sister and her relatives. She grew attached to her sister, cousins, uncles and aunts, and was considered the baby in the family. Her father, Uzugi Senju, was very honored by Etsu's outstanding knowledge and beauty as a child. She inherited a lot of her mother's qualities such as her brown hair, fair skin, stubbornness and her amazing chakra. Uzugi was a sensor ninja with mysterious talents, and he sensed that his daughter would be special in a way even he didn't understand, but one thing that he did know was that she would be powerful. By the age of four, Etsu was trained in the art of meditation and some weaker ninjutsu. She proved proficient in both and quickly escalated into the practice of the elements, a very traditional training regimen for a Senju but at a much younger age.
Around the time she entered the Academy, Etsu was training with her father in the doton element in the mountain plans. Being a Senju she naturally possessed doton and suiton nature affinities, which would later manifest to mokuton later in life when her k.k.g. matured. However more akin to doton at her age, she praticed in that and was quite talented in the art. She learned to move rocks with her chakra, and to gain a natural feel for the earth around her. She even created some weak techniques involving small rocks and being a child thought they were one of the most dangerous techniques in the world. Her father helped her along the way and proved to be a great teacher. With her first elemental training over, Etsu took a small break and focused more on the Academy.
In the academy she befriended nearly her entire class and was considered very popular in the eyes of her young peers. Everyone knew her clan, and was very honored by her presence. She enjoyed playing outside with the other girls and participating in activities like most young ninja do, such as wrapping scrolls around the swing set and drawing on private property. However despite her playful nature as a child, she was very bright and intuitive. She enjoyed learning although she knew everything the academy had to offer, and she was very fond of her academy teacher.
After graduation from the academy, Etsu started the second part of her elemental training which was the practice of the suiton element. Unlike doton, suiton was something Etsu was not talented in and frankly didn't enjoy training. She had difficulty manipulating water and performing practice techniques with it. Although not displaying irritation with the element, she continued to do the best she could. Eventually she became standard with the element and was good enough for a passing grade, according to her father. But soon after her training was over she was abducted by the river.
Waking up, she was surrounded by Sound and Snow Ninja that had her tied inside a moving carriage. However despite being scared as most young children would be, an instinct kicked in which she didn't know she had. She remained motionless and started articulating. After analyzing the situation at hand and listening to the stupid ninja that drove, she learned that she was being being sent to Sound Country and will be used as ransom for the Senju.
Etsu remained hostage within Sound Country for eight months. In that period, strangely, began to see her hostages as family. They treated her as one of them, clothing, feeding and even training her in their terrorist ways. Since she was young she absorbed their teaching like a sponge and became quite dark in nature. She became meaner, more powerful, and exceptionally more merciless. Eventually a fierce war broke out between Konoha, Sound, and Snow Country. As the battles took place outside Etsu remained hidden, not wanting hurt both her friends and families in Konoha and in Sound. Her door had been kicked down and a man attacked her inside the wooden room. It was during that time that Etsu activated newly learned mokuton k.k.g. and quickly crushed the man in wooden vines. Escaping, Etsu found her way back to Konoha operatives and was brought back to the village.
Getting back to a routine within the village, Etsu was placed into a team by the Hokage. It was made up of two other boys her age and another male Jounin. She team went under the title 'Team 6' after the previous Team 6 had disbanded. In her time, she participating in many missions with them and formed a bond with them all. However, her Jounin saw her as growing increasingly violent for her age. Side stepping his remarks, Etsu quickly became bored with her team and participating in solo missions for a while.
Growing bored with the tedious low-ranked missions, Etsu along with her former teammate went into the forbidden black market and did obscure missions there. They did bouglaries on other small villages and even distributed illegal drugs to unauthorized merchants. Eventually her skills as a ninja became sought after by a man named Takinora, a very powerful nukenin. Etsu secretly met him in the forests where they would train and discuss illegal matters. With him, Etsu learned more dangerous mokuton techniques that involved quick killing, and because of her skill she was used as a secret weapon by Takinora. After a year of living a double life, Takinora had vanished, leaving Etsu back to her normal genin life. However it was short lived a the CE's had approached fairly quickly.
Plowing through the CE's with her unmatched skill, she was appointed to Chunin by the Hokage and became quickly notarized by her clansmen. They saw her as the growing power and would eventually become a powerful clan elder. When Chunin she requested to do missions with her former teammate whom helped her in the black market, which she gotten. Him, along with a new team assisted Etsu in more dangerous missions. She had saved, killed, and protected many people during her Chunin experience, and proved to be more exciting than she anticipated.
Back in the village from a mission, she had a small reunion with her father and he performed something he thought he'd never have to. He have her a 'card test' to test her nature affinity. She thought it was silly since she thought she naturally had doton, suiton and mokuton since that was her birthright as a Senju. However after discovery she learned that she also naturally possessed the katon chakra type which would allow her to perform fire ninjutsu. Etsu was shocked by this, taking her a few days to adjust to such power and change. She started to train katon ninjutsu in the forests, alone since her father couldn't help her. Like doton she was very strong in the art.
After many years as Chunin, Etsu was appointed to ANBU by the Hokage since her skill as a ninja permitted her so. Although technically a Jounin/ANBU, she did both high ranked missions and also raised a team of Genin under her wing. She proved to be a passionate sensei and a strong-demanding leader. Her students became quite powerful under her teachings, and quickly became learned to be independant since Etsu had many ANBU assignments to do. During this time she learned to excess another ability which was so rare even she feared, which was kokuton, which she called 'Black Wood'. Discovering this in a underground temple when she fought zombie ninja that awakened from the tome, she used it to destroy hundreds of them at once and managed to save herself and the lives of the other ANBU.
Another war broke between Sound and Konoha had erupted in Etsu's absence. Konoha was being overpowered by nukenin and quickly becoming destroyed. When Etsu got back from her personal trips, she participating in the war and killed many enemies and proved to be a powerful asset in the war. After the murder of the First, she was appointed to Hokage and with her military prowess had managed to push the enemy back while killing many of them in the process. Now Hokage, she is rebuilding Konoha into a image of power and prosperity, and hench forth will protect her village.
