Before I even hear the argument starting: It's not genjutsu if creating an academy style Clone isn't a genjutsu. Obviously chakra can create temporary visual effects.

The thing is Wani, it is a Genjutsu whether you like it or not and considering you can learn D - Rank Genjutsu techniques, I wouldn't bother putting up an issue about it and instead edit the technique so it becomes a genjutsu technique.

It's description meets that of a Genjutsu technique, now, stop trying to prolong this petty issue and just change it into a D - Rank Genjutsu technique. You will still be able to learn it, as it falls within your limits.

I can't use it as a Genjutsu, the clones are obviously chakra and ninjutsu and are so because: Genjutsu requires a trigger of some sort to capture a victim. And unlike Genjutsu, the clone can be seen by anyone who looks at it, same as my shuriken. I'm using the same technique with a different objective.

It's Ninjutsu and I need it to be Ninjutsu so I can use it instead of having to sustain it while they are in flight. I will ask another moderator for their opinion.

Can I change it to a Genjutsu without it requiring a trigger or a sustained cost? (I don't plan to sustain a couple shuriken in flight.)

Optical illusions don't require a focus, because it creates an image in the air out of nothing. It cannot affect the other 4 senses. Anyway, the bunshin are being transformed into Genjutsu at the moment, so it would be best to change it to Genjutsu. Thanks.

Yeah, I don't want it to sustain. I designed it as a ninjutsu SPECIFICALLY because I don't want it to sustain. So you're kinda screwing me here. I need this to be a fire and forget jutsu. I only need them to go about 15m or so. The regular range of a shuriken.
