Mission Objective: A trusted weaponry merchant has arrived in the Lightning Country to deliver the large order of kunai and shuriken to Kumogakure. He normally makes the journey alone, but there has been rumour of a gang of bandits who are after the weapons the merchant has made for some easy money. You must escort the merchant from Fisherman’s Port to the Daichu District where he can drop off the projectiles at a weaponry store.

Honorable Raikage, the following is my observation of the mission completed by Team 5 as requested.

Team leader (Etorufuu Yuki) , proceeded to arrive on scene ahead of time to meet with the client to discuss the mission briefly. Tactical decision was made to escort merchant personally from within the cart and team leader’s presence was replaced with water clone to maintain team morale. Team arrived on time, began escort shortly after sunrise. Upon our travels up the mountainside we were beset by bandits, strangely organized and far within village limits to be consider unaided in my opinion. Many were captured, some escaped with exact numbers unobtained. Prisoners were given over to ANBU authorities for detaining and interrogation, results of which are unknown. Team finished escort with minimal injuries. Professional Evaluation: Something suspicious is happening in Kumogakure if bandits are this far inland. Team member Kanji Senju requests visitation with Raikage.
