UZUMAKI, MIZUIRO

THE INFO.

Name: Mizuiro Uzumaki
Nickname: Kanji, The uzumaki's little artist
Age: 15
Gender: Male
Appearance: Mizuiro, unlike most Uzumaki clan members, seems to take after some highly recessive gene because he has bright blond hair, clear blue eyes, and a rather lean build.

He has a tendency to wear darker clothes while doing ninja work, opting for a form fitting black hoodie with a large zipper down the front and rather wide sleeves. A simple pair of gray and black shin length pants and black ninja sandals. His hair has a natural swirlto it and he simply applies a bit of hairspray to it for hold and shapes it into rather messy spikes. he wears his shinobi headband as a belt arond his waist and has a metal plate with the leaf symbol on his left shoulder.

When he's allowed to 'let his hair down', he has a preference for brighter colors usually red yellow orange or sky blues. mosto f his leisure time clothes are splattered and stained by paint and ink.

His lean body is built for agility and flexibility as opposed to a large amount of strength and when he moves, this much is usually obvious to the trained eyes of other ninja. His way of holding himself is lazy and yet graceful. Like he doesn't try. It comes off as effortless (even though it is anything but)and makes people think him a bum sometimes but the way he flits around and bounces like an excited toddler on a sugar high, prevents anyone whose met him for longer than 20 minutes, to ever call him lazy aloud.

At first glance one would gather that he is a quiet contemplative young man, as he spends much of his time watching the world move around him, sketching as he observes, with pencil and notebook in hand. This however is no more than a mask that he puts on to hide his exuberance and identity.
At heart, Mizuiro is an artist and a tactician.He walks into every situation, senses wide open, taking in the lay of the area and the people and animals in it both for the experience of the world and because he is notably cautious. Perhaps out of some sort of deep seated fear or simple wariness, his cautionary motions border on paranoia sometimes stemming from an overactive imagination.. A little obsessed with the aesthetics and the superficial, he can easily be construed as shallow and egocentric but quite the opposite is true of him. He is taking the time to understand what is on the surface and accept things for how they are and expresses these observations while he looks for deeper meaning and understanding, leaving these thoughts unsaid most of the time unless someone says he is shallow or witless. His egocentricity comes from his need to be concerned with himself over that of other’s and their well being, something that his mother has been pressuring him to do more of over the years because Mizuiro's selflessness could easily lead him down a path to suicide if it hadn't been curbed. He also doesn’t see the point in blatant dishonesty and has a tendency to be tactlessly honest about things, caring little for whether a person is capable of coping with the truth.

Art, since an incredibly young age, has been a large part of his life. it was his doorway into life really. He aspired to be a ninja like most young children but his inante talents didn't lie in his clan's chain based techniques, but rather with their fuuinjutsu prowess.Sharpening his senses and expressing himself through color and shape and the simple stroke of a brush. This love and skill was what then shaped his life and became his most deadly ability. His imagination flourished and his excitability along with it. He relishes in the wonder of true artistic expression whether it be his own work or that of another or the supposed construction of nature by some unseen god who forged the world in the fires of creation. It has gone so far as to become his ninja way.

He was always prone to spontaneity and self expression after graduation from the Academy and is always looking for the next thing, his interests are fleeting and he, like many artists, plunges himself into the whirlwind of fads and ‘the next big thing’ type of revolutions. This trait is what drives him to rebel and stand up for the rights and freedoms of himself and others. Unfortunately all of these things were traits that had to be repressed in order for him to excel in the field and to follwo orders.

Around his comrades, he feels comfortable enough to fully let down his “mask” and be as flippantly flamboyant as he wants, dressing in garishly bright clothing and the occasional face make up. This isn’t to say he’s feminine in demeanor or action, simply overly ornate or highly decorated. Because of this, he loves holidays especially the ones with festivals and will go to great lengths to get to them and learn about them if they should be in other countries. Celebrations and decoration are two of his greatest non shinobi skills and he loves to use them when he can. When he can afford to dress and laze about leisurely he wears his paint and ink splattered clothes and if possible, goes barefoot, liking to feel the ground and grass beneath his feet.

He enjoys above all else sensation. He is acutely aware of sights, sounds, tastes, and feelings and basks in them as they are all usually fleeting sensations.

In love he is probably the most awkward, having never gotten to experience the feeling and become so emotionally attached to someone in a romantic way and thus, he searches for love and man on man skin contact, finding it comforting. This trait goes hand in hand with his longing for acceptance of himself and his artwork, probably the thing he is the most sensitive about in the entire world. What good is expressing yourself if it doesn’t resonate with another person and no one appreciates it after all?
