| Name: Pouncing Flame Ambush Technique Rank: B Type: Ninjutsu Range: Close (0m - 5m) Element: Fire [Katon] Description: (similar in effect to the “water dragon bullet technique) The user targets a burning fire within 5meters of themselves and forms the needed hand signs. A large flame will burst from this existing fire in the shape of a lunging tiger (The Tiger itself is about the size of a car) and crash down on an opponent with physical force, capable of pinning them down and roasting them in a wave of fire. The actual attack can only travel at most 5meters from the point of the original fire, thus the one they are attacking must be close to the targeted flame for it to be effective. Chakra Cost: 13 Name: Smoke Sequential Fire Technique Rank: B Type: Ninjutsu Range: Close (0m - 5m), Mid (5m - 10m), Far (10+) Element: Fire [Katon] Description: A technique that is twin fold in effect. The user breathes deeply, forming hand signs like a classic fire-ball like technique. However, what emerges is a thick cloud of soot that shoots forward to medium-range. The user then changes the last hand sign, forming the actual attack, a blazing stream line fire ball that pierces through the soot to long-range. A successful use of the technique will blind the opponent with the wall of soot, then launch the fireball through the darkness. By the time they realize there is fire coming through the soot, it will be too late to dodge. Chakra Cost: 13
Name: Hanging Paper Lantern Technique Rank: C Type: Ninjutsu Range: Close (0m - 5m), Mid (5m - 10m) Element: Fire [Katon] Description: The user creates a single floating orb of katon, like a contained fire. The energy of the technique is exerted not as heat, but as light, giving one a torch light that can be used to guide their way through darkness. This light can be controlled to a high degree of accuracy, allowing the user to move it anywhere within 10meters of them, and is great for exploring dark caves and at night. The user can increase the brightness of the orb to easily illuminate a 20meter radius. It has little offensive capability as the flame is warm at best. Chakra Cost: 5 (+1 per post)
Name: Cherry Blossom Embers Techniques Rank: C Type: Ninjutsu Range: ~20m radius Element: Fire [Katon] Description: A fire technique that is potentially potent, the user forms the needed hand signs causing the body to glow a rosey red color. The red seemingly envelopes them before peeling off into innumerable scales. These flake off of the user and flutter into the air, taking the appearance countless Cherry Blossom flower petals. These move outward from the user and come to settle harmlessly upon anything within 20meters. While in the air they are at the mercy of the wind and thus can be blown about as well. The next post, these little petals will burst into tiny flames, potentially catching things such as idle grasses, exposed wood, and other combustible substance on fire. While not meant to cause the opponent damage, it can eventually lead to the battle field being covered in fire if these small fires aren’t dealt with! Kinda like leaving a camp fire unattended, only you can prevent forest fires. Chakra Cost: 9
Name: Soot Clone Technique Rank: C Type: Ninjutsu Range: Supplementary Element: Fire [Katon] Description: This technique creates a clone made out of soot. While it is a physical clone, it has no physical strength, and cannot perform any techniques or effectively fight on the user’s behalf. When it is hit, it turns into 5meter radius smoke similar to a smokescreen that only lasts a single post. The soot clone is mostly used as a diversion tactic like other clone techniques. Chakra Cost: 7
Name: Radiant Glare Rank: C Type: Ninjutsu Range: Close (0m - 5m) Element: Fire [Katon] Description: The user focuses fire element chakra into their palm, then holds their palm outward toward a target and produces an incredibly bright flame creating a burst of light. Anyone looking at the user will be blinded by this incredible light for the post that they look at it. Looking toward the light within close range, all an individual will be able to see is a blinding white. The user will themselves have to shield their eyes to prevent from being blinded by their own technique. Chakra Cost: 6
Name: Force Conduction Rank: C Type: Taijutsu Range: Close (0m - 5m) Element: Fire [Katon] Description: A taijutsu technique that is transmitted by more passive touch. The user touches an object and surges Katon chakra through it forcefully, heating the object that is touched tremendously on a superficial level. This can be used to catch cloth or wood on fire, or make metals searing hot. If used on the skin, and can induce 1st degree burns much like voluntarily touching a hot stove. This is particularly useful when camping, as one can bring 1 gallon of water to a boil by touch alone. Chakra Cost: 6
Name: Bed of Hot Coals Rank: C Type: Ninjutsu Range: 10m radius Element: Fire [Katon] Clan: Kuromatsu Description: The user forms the needed handsigns then blows a torrent of fire along the ground that spreads outward, as it does, it turns into BlackPowder almost immediately, becoming a smoldering hot layer of simmering earth much like a bed of hot coals. Anyone that walks on the surface will have their feet burned and their clothing exposed to potentially catching on fire. The coals can cover an approximately 10meter area around the user (similar to the range of the “Starch Syrup Catch Field). One can prevent being burnt by staying moving and being light on their feet. The ground itself is also quick to burn, being susceptible to fire techniques, but also can be put out with a water technique, or just water in general. Chakra Cost: 7
Name: Hot Air Balloon Technique Rank: C Type: Ninjutsu Range: Close (0m - 5m) Element: Fire [Katon] Description: The user exhales a stream of hot air infused with katon chakra. Because of the simple mechanic that hot air rises, the heat quickly rises into the air. This could roast an opponent in the air directly around the user as the hot air rises, causing mild discomfort. However, the technique is best utilized with some sort of parachute. The user blows the hot air into the space of the chute while holding onto it. By manipulating the hot air with the infused Katon, they can manipulate the chute upward to lift themselves in the air like a make shift hot air balloon. By continuing to manipulate the hot air, one can continue to rise, drop, or control their direction in the air. One must hold one half-tiger hand signs to control the heat in the chute (the other hand holding on to the chute). Thus it is impossible to use other ninjutsu while one is controlling the technique. One can move through the air as fast as 15mph, once in the air and can theoretically fly for as long as they have chakra, and can hover as high as 30meters above the ground. Chakra Cost: 5 (+2 Cp per post)
Name: Kasumi Enbu no Jutsu - Mist Waltz Technique Rank: C Type: Ninjutsu Range: Close (0m - 5m), Mid (5m - 10m) Element: Katon (Fire) Description: After performing the necessary hand seals, the user is able to create and blow a flammable gas from their lungs. Once it comes in contact with fire or sparks, the gas ignites into a large fireball. Chakra Cost: 8
Name: Water Dog Shaking Technique Rank: D Type: Ninjutsu Range: Supplementary Element: Fire [Katon] Description: A simple technique in which the user, wet from some external force, dries themselves and their clothing. By shaking and expelling katon energy into their clothing the friction they create can dry themselves in a matter of moment. Great for doing laundry, or if accidentally falling into the pool. Chakra Cost: 3
--------------------- Name: Muramasa Cloth Technique Rank: C/B/A/S Type: Ninjutsu Range: Supplementary Element: N/A Description: A simple technique in which the user surges their chakra into their clothing, making their clothing incredibly hard without increasing it’s weight. However, when hardened, the user can’t move, and the cloth is still susceptible to getting wet, burning, etc., It also prevents them from moving while their clothes are hardened. The varying degree of hardness depends on the rank used. Only lasts for a single post, and cannot be sustained without completely re-using the technique. C - Rock B - Iron A - Steel S - Titanium Chakra Cost: 7/14/21/35
Name: Shiyoken: Shadow Clone Arms Technique Rank: C Type: Ninjutsu Range: Supplementary Element: N/A Description: What was originally thought to be the failed attempt at the use of the “Shadow Clone Technique”, the Shiyoken was born as a sort of Siamese clone. The user creates a temporary second pair of arms that seem to extend out of the back under the shoulder blade. These arms are fully functional, and can be used to attack and defend with twice the ferocity and efficiency. If the user takes a single solid blow, the extra arms disappear, just like the shadow clone technique. But because these ‘shadow clone arms’ are attached to the body and aren’t independent of the user, they don’t divide the chakra of the user. Chakra Cost: 8

Which direction does the tiger spawn if it plants into the ground for instance? I would guess straight forward, but what if the target moves to the left of the cannonball. Wouldn't that mean that igniting it wouldn't in fact just shoot the tiger past the enemy, and nowhere near them at all. If it seeks out the target, it should be explained how that is possible. Oh, and elaborate how fast the tiger travels approximately. Else the opponent can just side-step it due to lack of information.

Your character can just designate any old flame, and cause it to rise up and smash into the target? I say limit it to the flames closer to the user. 20m radius is far too large. Lower it to 5m; the range of the technique. Thus it actually mimics the Canonized water dragon bullet; unlike your current technique.

This has no chakra cost. Add one please. It should be fairly high, since you are theoretically using two jutsu at once.

What do you mean "even if the physical blow misses"? You state it launches a shock wave, which is ethereal; not physical. Unless that first degree burn and clothes setting alight is for the physical hit, please explain this a bit more clearly..

You state that anyone who sees the technique is blinded, but proceed to say something about it being close range. Please clarify.

- Flaming Stuntman Clone Technique
Please elaborate what you mean by a 'solid blow'. Someone punching that technique isn't going to make it disperse. It is fire after all; it would just light the person aflame.

- Bed of Hot Coals
Though it is similar to the starch syrup technique; the main con of that jutsu is that one can simply walk on top of the sticky water; whereas this will burn the target's feet with no chance of escape. Drastically lower the range of the technique.

What is the maximum height for this technique? Please keep it realistic, and remember that the higher the altitude, the colder the air. Thus the higher you go, the more chakra you would have to spend to keep this air hot. On that note, what prevents the heat from the air to ignite the chute itself? You realize in order to actually provide lift the temperature of the air would have to greatly exceed that of regular cloth ignition, or even heat-resistant cloth. Carrying a heavy person is not an easy task. I hope you realize that the fact hot air balloons are so massive isn't because it makes them look cool. It requires a hefty sum of hot air, at very high temperatures.

Denied. A similar technique was tried with Wanizame. If you want the ability to catch something travelling close to 80-some miles an hour, feel free to get some SC to help you out. A jutsu will not suffice.

Diamond is far more fragile than steel, hell; more fragile than stone. Diamond is like any other crystal; it shatters when struck really hard. The reason people say 'diamond is the hardest substance on earth' is because it's virtually impossible to scratch. Hardness has absolutely nothing to do with the durability and ductility of an item. Please change Diamond to something that makes more sense, unless you wish to have really frail armor.
That is all for now, more might come up if another staff member points it out. |

- Poorly Designed. It has been removed.
Pouncing Flame Ambush Technique
-Range adjusted.
Smoke Sequential Fire Technique
-Chakra Cost added
Radiant Glare
-Played with the range and the description. Hopefully it makes more sense now.
Flaming Stuntman Clone Technique
-Too ridiculous to be reasonably used, removed it.
Bed of Hot Coals
-It states that one wont be burnt if they keep moving. There is most certainly chance for escape, just by not standing still on burning hot coals.
Hot Air Balloon Technique
-While I agree with the logic behind your argument, much of what you said applied to normal heat, normal conditions, and a realistic setting. When Katon is put into the mix, I can control the heat within the chute no matter the altitude as opposed to it escaping more rapidly the higher the altitude as a result of change in air pressure and thus temperature. Also, this was the exact reason the "Fire Blanket was created, so that it is possible to withstand the heat. I made the maximum height 50meters. Which at speeds of 15mph isn't something I could accomplish in a single post of flight in say, a battle situation.
Art of Sword Catching
-Removed
Muramasa Cloth Technique
-I disagree. I wouldn't make a building out of diamond exactly, but it is still the hardest substance we have access to in nature. The difference is, you could his a diamond the size of a pea with a hammer and it may shatter, but a diamond the size of your fist? all the hammers in the world wouldn't touch it. It's relative size. I'll keep it how it is, because after all, no one on this site is ever going to achieve S-rank status without it being given to them anyway, bwahaha! |

50 meters is really high. Virtually impossible to hit a small target 50m up from ground level. Lower it to 30m. To keep things fair, since it is a C-rank technique. Do remember that most buildings in Naruto aren't even 20m tall. It's not New York City, where we have hundred-story skyscrapers.

Wrong. You're confusing hardness and ductility. Ductility is the amount of pressure required to 'break' an object. Because diamond is carbon, and not metal; it naturally creates crystals when it solidifies. Like all crystals, it is very fragile and will break when a substantial amount of force is applied. Your assumption that a hundred hammers on a tennis ball sized diamond orb won't break it is also incorrect. Diamond is like glass; except very hard to chip and scratch, but otherwise just as fraile. Quartz has a hardness of 7; which is relatively high, yet it can be smashed quite easily. Glass, rubies, emeralds, even stone (which are all crystalline products) follow the same physics. Though they may be hard, they are easy to smash. Thus; I highly suggest changing it from diamond to something more realistic and plausible. Titanium alloy seems appropriate. I'm mentioning this now, before an argument occurs between members of the site in relations to this technique.
