Hm Bleach Site Anyone?

Just a thought, but what does everyone think about making a sister-site: a Bleach RP? The Ultimate Soul/Shinigami/Society... etc. I mean, I've been around a number of Bleach Sites, and tbh, the majority of them are shockingly bad and yet they still amass huge amounts of members. I'm sure we, as experienced as we are and via our secret tool (THE SKYPE!), could come up with a very decent site indeed. Yes, I'm sure that most of you guys probably don't watch/read Bleach, but then I'm sure an equal number does. I'm not AT ALL asking that we in any way abandon or lose activity on US - this is our home, and will always be that, but if there is interest in a Bleach Forum, then maybe we should roll up our sleeves, and see what we can do.

Well, seeing that I have finally read all the chapters so far, I guess I would like to join. But I don't know... I don't really like the concept behind Bleach? I don't know... The idea of swinging huge swords and doing some crazy magic with it doesn't draw me in really since I can do all that, and more, right here... Maybe something else? I'll call when I get some id.... Something involving space and space travel and shit. Now THAT I would TOTALLY play! Different alien races, a lot of clusters with even more planets and stuff. Personal spaceships, join an army. The POSSIBILITIES!

Look I have never seen Doctor Who so I don't know. All I know is that I want to TRAVEL THROUGH SPACE!

He travels through time, but can also go to other planets, and often, specimens from said other planets visit the Earth. And yes, he is an Alien - a Time Lord, which is an extinct race that resembles humans. ^_^

I was thinking more of Mass Effect? But than again it wouldn't be Mass Effect but something completely new. It doesn't have to based around a movie, show, game, whatever. Though we could borrow some stuff from them nonetheless.

Mmm, it depends on at what point in the plot you'd be focusing on, because everything post-Aizen has been shiz in my opinion, especially "fullbring".

I disagree. The plot is awesome, not only because we find out more about Quincies (who we knew so little about) but because we get to see Ichigo back in action, and explore what happened in Hueco Mundo when the majority of Espada got wiped out. Unlike Naruto, we constantly learn more about almost all the Characters. Bleach is very good at revealing a lot about persons, who we already thought we knew a lot about.

And I also like the idea of a Fullbring. If nothing else, it explains the background behind Orihime and Sado's powers.

Regardless, my thoughts were that this would be an Original Roleplay with non-canon characters and original Plots. Obviously, we would make use of the all the information (old and new) to design races, organisations, worlds and story lines. But, the way the Story would shape, would be up to the Members.

If someone creates an Aizen-esque character and is skilled enough to go to Hueco Mundo and convince all there that they should fight for him, then so be it. If someone creates a group of Vizards and attacks Soul Society, the Shinigami will have to deal with it. If the Arrancar attack Earth, Humans will have to fight back, until the other races act.

I could get on board with this. Only the other day I was wondering how Mass Effect would be done in non-canon RP form.

The plot opens up lots of grey areas for exploration. Which is super, but the set up could have been better.

Well a Mass Effect-esque RP would be really hard to do. Everything happens in Space, across a number of planets, with the key to the Game being Combat. Now, guns are always a difficult (almost impossible) area Rp-wise, to cover and make fair. If we disallow such combat, we still have to worry about Ships fighting Ships. If we disallow that, there is very little left. Sure, there are different races and the interactions between them would be 'fun', however without any Combat and with a wide world, that would spread out our Characters a lot, what exactly would we do?

On the other hand, a Soul Eater or Shaman King forum has a lot of potential. In a way, they both could work in a very similar way - Meisters & Weapons; Shamans & Spirits. Members would either be one or the other, and would team up, hopefully keeping each other active and interested in RPing. ^^ Obviously, Soul Eater's World would also Consist of Witches and Kishin.

Seriously.... i hate the Quincy plot up until now, Tite Kubo could have made a little bit more of a research with all his Quincy attack names, they are german as you may know and not even ONE of those names are grammatical/ written right. I expect a bit more from a awesome manga like Bleach....
