An indie-drama trailer of the legendary film Ferris Bueller's Day Off. Some of you have probably seen this bitty as it was pretty viral about a year ago. I come back to it every once in a while for inspiration, particularly the line "I'm not gonna sit on my ass as the events that effect me unfold to determine the course of my life, I'm gonna take a stand." The idea of the video is a little silly. The person who made it said that it was only an editing exercise. He wanted to see if he could make the film look like an indie coming-of-age drama, which really, it already is, but he definitely has exaggerated the dramatic aspects. I get chills every time I watch this and I almost wish that John Hughes had focused more on the drama like this video and less the comedy in the film. I digress, this is definitely worth a watch if you haven't seen it. See ya tomorrow.

One of the many reasons Psych is one of my favorite shows. I remember when I first saw this scene, I was eating a bowl of cereal and ended up spitting quite a good bit of it out all over my monitor. The scream Shawn does as he runs out just adds to the hilarity lmfao.

Eruption by Van Halen. It's greatness speaks for itself.

A test of a new engine by the game developers behind the wonderfully dark and suspenseful Heavy Rain. While not confirmed that this will one day become a full game, it looks incredible and since Heavy Rain was too just a test of technology at first, I think it's safe to assume we'll see this gem in stores in the somewhat distant future. I'm really excited for that, as I loved Heavy Rain, besides the ending(s?) of course which were complete shit. I won't give any details about the video 'cause I don't want to spoil anything, it's best to just watch it.
