Like a Child [SC Training]

She moved from left to right, and right to left. The graceful generousity she refused to give her tiny attackers was evident. As she raised her legs to jump, extending to length of her dodge. She rolled, despite how filthy she may get. She did not have her parasol or purse on her person. She could see the eyes of her attackers as she gained a moment of breath. Their eyes of many colors vigorously staring through the tall grass around her. Some of the grass was flatened, others rustled by the gusts occasionally brought on by the screeching wind. The noise created by the wind was unbearable for Miu as she covered her ears and winced in pain. She couldn't stop here, and continued running. As so continued away, she could hear their footsteps. She could see the grass rustle faster and faster as they closed in around her. She could feel her heart pound away no matter how hard she breathed. She tripped up, falling down. She could feel it in the air. It would rain. She quickly got up as the laughter of some unknown force beseeched her ears. She grinned and knew what she had to accomplish then.

She got to a sprint of what she could manage. It wasn't very fast for someone of her body, but she managed to evade the grappling hands. She could hear the laughter, like children. Of course she understood what she was against. She only struggled to keep her footing as the rain poured down. It was a hard rain indeed, causing Miu's sight to become blurred by the water. She could barely find her footing betweem the ponds forming beneath her in the muddy dirt mixture and outstretched arms trying to grasp her. She could tell her clothing would need to be cleaned and repaired, but she didn't care. This game was much too fun to ever cast the shadow of doubt across it. That was the thrill of the game in hide and seek. She tripped and the kids she was playing with finally caught her. They laughed in unison, all drenched and covered in mud. They all had seemed to enjoy the game thoroughly, and none were dissapointed by Miu's skill in the game, despite never having partaken before.

They all stood up, with Miu using her hands to wipe the mud from her face. The kids swarmed her with reactions about how fun she was to have around, how much they wanted her to play again, and that she should live with them. She smiled and picked up her hat, placing it on her head at an angle and tilting her head with a smile. Mud mixed with her white hair as it cascaded terribly. Her face was lightly smudged by grey and red. She smiled and decided to speak. "We should get ourselves inside, little ones, unless we want to illness to bloom.". She left them in awe as she started walking. She couldn't help but feel sore from the experience. But it was great exercise. She felt good that she had spent some time entertaining herself and others, despite the horrible outcome of her attire. Oh well, nothing that hard work and a nice, warm and relaxing shower can't fix, she thought as the children ran ahead of her, eagerly wishing they could play again. She smiled sweetly as the sight of the inn came into view. She had been welcome to stay so long as she had agreed to work for her rent and food.

This, would be a lesson she'd hold dear to herself forever.
