Daosumi Clan (Complete) Vide
PostSubject: Daosumi Clan (Complete) Daosumi Clan (Complete) EmptyWed 20 Jan 2010, 1:21 am

Clan Name: Daosumi (Body Ink)
Clan Location: None
Clan Traits: None
Kekkei Genkai: None
Secret Clan Jutsu:

Name: Sealed Scribing
Rank: D
Type: Fuuinjutsu
Element: None
Description: A Daosumite who uses their special clan ink can write out Fuuinjutsu in symbol or glyph form, rather than legible Kanji, on whatever surface is available, including the air. This jutsu causes another Fuuinjutsu technique to become sealed invisible onto the surface after the scribing is finished. The seal then activates when designated. This is mostly used to place seals on body parts, though it has other obvious uses for defense.

Name: Sealed Speed
Rank: D
Type: Fuuinjutsu
Element: None
Description: A Daosumi jutsu that enables the user to create seals, through written glyphs, at a much quicker speed than others. A jutsu that would take days to perform would only take a Daosumite a few minutes through the use of this jutsu, this also increases the speed in combat, increasing the usefulness of Fuuinjutsu to the user.

Name: Sealed Technique
Rank: C-A
Type: Fuuinjutsu
Element: None
Description: A Daosumi jutsu that is one of the more powerful clan techniques. When a Daosumite is struck by a jutsu, they jutsu's handsigns then appear as glyphs, with or without the consent of the Daosumite, on his/her forehead. This then slowly seeps in into their brain, over the course of three posts, and once soaked can be written down as Fuuinjutsu in a sealed form. Multiple jutsu can be stored like this, if the forehead is occupied the glyphs move to other visible body parts until none are left and then move on to non-visible ones until the whole body is full. A Daosumite can house up to a number of jutsu equal to the number of spots presently available on the body, following the size rules provided in the following jutsu. These tattoos are temporary however, and fade once absorbed into the skin. This jutsu's rank is based on the jutsu it is copying, but does not consume that level of chakra since it is a passive ability.

Jutsu learned in this manner are often tattoo'd onto the user's body at a later date, allowing for the use of elements and jutsu that would normally be outside their range. This cannot affect S Rank jutsu. This also effects Genjutsu, with the aided benefit that the user is aware of the Genjutsu due to scribing on their body when it affects them.

Name: Sealed Jutsu
Rank: C-S
Type: Fuuinjutsu
Element: None
Description: A Daosumi jutsu that allows a Daosumite to tattoo their body with glyphs that seal in jutsu that can be activated at later points in time for minimal chakra. A Daosumite is able to tattoo a number of places on their body, scribing a jutsu on their body requires a training topic at a number of words according to the user's rank (C Rank: Full Amount, B Rank: 3/4, A Rank: 1/2, S Rank: 1/4) For each word count fulfilled, the jutsu sealed is usable three times before the tattoo loses power and erases itself. There are a total of 26 locations in which a tattoo may be placed, however, more powerful jutsu take up more space, C Rank take 1 spot, B Rank take 2, A Rank take 3, and S Rank take 5. In addition, only 1 S Rank may be sealed at anytime. E or D Rank cannot be scribed unless they are not Academy Jutsu, they each take up 1/2 of a spot.

Certain groups of areas allow for a bonus decrease on the number of spots taken, for example, if you wanted to scribe an A Rank jutsu, but you lacked 5 spots, you could instead use the bonus provided by scribing on the Left and Right Breast, which is -1. 3 - 1 = 2, meaning you could scribe the jutsu there on those two spots. Any bonus spots not used cannot be regained, you cannot scribe a B Rank on those two spots and gain the bonus spot.

The appearance of the tattoo has no bearing on what is sealed, though images are often part of the glyph library of the user. No other Daosumi has the same kind of glyphs, so they cannot read each other's seals. Some use animals, others symbols, and still others use what look like scars or claw marks. Further jutsu that enable special tattoos, unlike jutsu tattoos, are permanent.

Below is a list of the spots, each spot is numbered followed by parenthesis and a roman numeral if it belongs to a group. The roman numeral groups are then assigned a negative spot bonus which is further down.

Spoiler:

Name: Sealed Servant
Rank: C-S
Type: Fuuinjutsu
Element: None
Description: A Daosumi jutsu that allows the user to create a signature tattoo of an object or animal that is able to be summoned at-will, tearing itself off of the user, the wound instantly healing, and then shifting into the depicted thing. It gains all the physical properties of the thing it imitates, including hardness or mechanical special abilities. This jutsu must be designated on the character application of a Daosumi, using this jutsu does not allow for a summoning contract. Each tattoo takes up only 1 spot, regardless of rank or power, but instead takes a number of posts to manifest. C Rank, instant, B Rank, At the end of the post in which it is summoned, A Rank, 1 post, S Rank, 3 posts.

Name: Sealed Wings
Rank: B
Type: Fuuinjutsu
Element: None
Description: A Daosumite gains the ability to etch a tattoo of a pair of wings on their back, taking up no spots, and instead adding 2 spots on each wing which provide a -1 bonus if both used for the same tattoo. The wings can resemble whatever is desired, within logical limits, and the tattoo scribed on them is not a jutsu. It is instead, an ability similar to those found in weapons, with the same spot rules as jutsu. The wings cannot fly unless all three spots are used to inscribe a flight tattoo.

Name: Sealed Talons
Rank: B
Type: Fuuinjutsu
Element: None
Description: A Daosumite gains the ability to etch a tattoo of an animal face or skull on their exterior hand, opening up 5 new spots for each hand, which cannot be used to house jutsu above C Rank. E or D Rank jutsu housed there take 1 spot, rather than 1/2. The user may tattoo on each finger a tattoo enabling the Daosumite to grow large claws that are treated as B Rank weapons and can channel chakra to deal elemental damage to a target when struck, gaining the bonuses and weakness of one of the element's the Daosumite uses.

History:

Though many claims claim a long lineage of powerful techniques and jutsu that they brought with them into war, a more discreet clan came into existence. It's influence was far reaching, but weak, and the clan was at one time able to even infiltrate the Uchiha clan and attempt to bring its downfall, though no intentions of the sort existed, they were simply able to. The clan does not have a blood-line that limits them, rather, they all learn similar jutsu that enable them to seal jutsu into bodily markings and tattoos.

The clan has become infamous at some periods of history when someone of importance has contracted them to assign a mark to them, but they have then faded back into obscurity. Clan members rarely reveal their true natures, instead relying on their abilities to imitate other clan's to hide their own.

Few have been able to claim any knowledge of the clan's secrets, as their members are all branded with a tattoo on their tongues resembling a closed mouth. Should they speak, the mouth opens and devours their tongue whole. In this manner they keep the clan within the mist of obscurity.

Clan Details: Open.
