Persona [Shin Megami Tensei] - like BL question

Is it possible to have a Clan that has the ability to have a Doujutsu based Onmyoton [Ying-Yang Release], but give them the ability to summon a "Persona" like the SMT series? or have that as a Jutsu based around Onmyoton later on?

Also in the cannon Clans, what is Susanno , Lion's Roar / 64 Trigram fist [the ability for the Hyuuga's to shoot chakra out of any part of their circulatory system for various things], and the like considered? Parts of the BL, or as BL Jutsu's? I'm asking because if it is a BL Jutsu than I can transform later on the ability to perceive and manipulate Yin and Yang aspects of chakra into a Persona [like Bunshin] Summoning Jutsu.

If the entire idea of a Persona Summoning Jutsu is too hax I have other ideas floating around, but this is one that I would like to make the most. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Two issues:

Firstly, I feel like your clan idea has two conflicting ideas. Remember that clans that possess Doujutsu almost always make it the focus of their abilities whereas I get the feeling that yours will just sort of have it for the sake of happening. After all, your idea is really a new elemental release, a field Doujutsu really has no place being in.

Secondly, you mention creating a new elemental release but then you talk about summoning. These are two vastly different specializations and a clan should really only deal with one or the other. I haven't seen the series you're referring to but I'm assuming the summoning you're talking about is similar enough to existing summoning techniques.

Lastly, the Hyuuga's ability to release chakra from every tenketsu is considered a part of their Kekkai Genkai whereas Susanoo could be considered a technique granted by the Uchiha Kekkai Genkai.

Sorry for the long time to reply. Busy day.

My Logic for the basis of my Kekkei Genkai goes as such:

1) Onmyoton was used by the Rikudo Sage of the 6 Paths due to his Renningan, and in Naruto Wikia the other Yin Yang Release Users [Onmyoton is called Yin Yang Release] was the progenator and is used in all Non-Elemental Jutsu. And in a more deeper note [as with the Rikudo Sage] was able to breath form into imagination / reality from dreams.

2) As you said Susanno was formed from the Kekkei Genkai of the Sharingan, but more importantly each eye had it's own power and ability tied to it. I'm not just talking about Amaterasu or Tsukuyomi. But things like Kotoamatsukami, or Kamui. Which yes are from Magekyo but are possible maybe under the lesser Sharingan.

Then you have other Dojutsu that "Create things" whether illusions that seem real to even Hyuga [Ranmaru], or are able to form things out of nothing [Rinnengan]. That Kekkei Genkai ability to Summon / Hold things that are not specifically from the Eye but from the Mind would sound good as a Dojutsu.

3) If the Renningan allowed the use of Onmyoton and the ability to turn Desires into Reality. And Dojutsu can allow the summoning of Kekkei Genkai specific "Things". Then a Kekkei Genkai built around splitting a users mind and sight between "Yin" and "Yang" would allow the user to use that rift to:

A) More Efficiently manipulate Spiritual Energy and Physical Energy [The essence of Omnyoton as well as Chakra Manipulation in general].

B) Split the users innerself more deeply to Yin and Yang Aspects forming a Spiritual Being, not unlike Susanno / Animal Path's things. Using Yin to form it, and Yang to bring it to Reality for short periods.

C) See and extend one's Yin and Yang aspects of Chakra to do a wide variety of unique and interesting Jutsus.

----------------------------- As for how this falls into Persona ----------------

A Persona is an extension of a persons innerself. A Mask that they were in the face of adversity [subconsciously] brought out into the world itself. Which while touching Izanagi / Creation of All Things territory. Would in Naruto Terms, be breathing life from ones Mind / Yin to the Flesh / Yang. In essence giving Form to Illusion.

Persona 3 FES Opening (lots of Persona Summons in it) [oh and they are shooting themselves with an Evoker which is how they Summon in P3 [Persona 4 they use Tarot Cards as the focus] and each Persona Game summons them differently.

Firstly Onmyoton and the Rinnegan are two unrelated abilities. The Rinnegan only granted the user access to the five elemental releases and use of the Six Paths. Onmyoton was simply an ability possessed by the Sage due to his extensive understanding of the very nature of chakra.

Secondly, all of the Uchiha abilities you refer to are based around the Sharingan in some way. With the exception of Susanoo, all of the techniques associated with the Sharingan are either highly advanced forms of Genjutsu or Ninjutsu aimed with the eyes. Susanoo is a physical manifestation of the user's chakra similar to Naruto's Nine Tail Chakra Mode, not a manifestation of the user's imagination. Even Izanagi and Izanami are essentially Genjutsu that target either the caster or a target.

The fact that different Uchiha members possessed different techniques does not mean the Kekkai Genkai granted them different abilities but rather that they just happened to master their specific ability akin to how Hinata and Neji wield almost entirely different variations of Juuken. This explains why Sasuke and Itachi were both proficient Amateresu users but only Itachi mastered Tsukuyomi and only Sasuke created variations of Amateresu; Itachi was the more gifted Genjutsu user while Sasuke preferred Katon Ninjutsu.

Thirdly, no Doujutsu has ever demonstrated the ability to 'create things'. Ranmaru's Kekkai Genkai granted the ability to cast Genjutsu capable of fooling the Byakugan, not create actual entities.

So with all that in mind, I still can't condone the idea of a Doujutsu-wielding clan that is essentially focused on summoning/manipulation of a special release. Of course, I'm not staff so that's still just my opinion.

Hmmmm ... That makes sense. So then you'd think it'd be best to cut out the Doujutsu aspect and keep it a Special Release?

Yep, I'm always interested in clans dealing with Special Releases especially when they're something a bit more original. I'd try to stay away from the idea of summoning spiritual beings though. Perhaps something more to do with physically manifesting aspects of the user's subconscious and emotions? That way each clan member's abilities will be somewhat unique to them while still falling under the clan's abilities

For example, passive minded users will create more defense-focused manifestations whereas more violent users will create more offensive ones. Something like that. Obviously it's a very rough concept which needs fleshing out but I think you get the idea.
