| Kanji walked outside of the village and onto the designated area where he was supposed to meet up with his genin. He was wearing black baggy pants with his usual black shoes, his posture was relaxed despite what had happened this morning. Firstly he awoke to Shinobu in his bed then had to explain that she couldn't keep doing that. The young chuunin stuffed his hands into his pockets as his sleeveless attire left him with no way to warm his hands. He smiled to himself as he remembered his earlier encounter during breakfast as well. Shinobu had ate all the donuts so naturally she was upset to hear that there were none. Just overall getting ready for the day with her was just one big adventure. Kanji pulled out a journal and an ink pen before tapping the end of it against his cheek. "Hmmm... I can take notes with this..."
Kanji thought aloud before jotting down a few notes. They were mostly consisting of his to do list once he got back home, but later on the journal would let him take notes about enemies. He slipped it away before turning his attention to his chest, his white flak jacket was there and strapped over his right shoulder as normal. He just sighed as he didn't know whether or not Shinobu got it dirty. She ended up helping him grab all his clothes so he could get ready faster but he naturally didn't want to assume she left his flak clean. Unknown to Kanji, she didn't leave his jacket unharmed. On his back where the strap went down diagonally there was her hand writing on it. It read, 'Property of Shinobu. Hands off.' Kanji put too much faith in the little girl. He took a look around the area and noticed the path he took connected straight to the village, around him were trees and another path going forward. "SCRAAW!" The noise startled the white haired Shinobi while he turned his attention to the sky. A black crow soared above him without a care in the world. He smiled as he ran his hand through his combed back, bone white hair. His red eyes pierced the heaven's themselves but recently they managed to soften, it wasn't so bad when people made eye contact now. He stared into the sky at the clouds while time felt as if it stood perfectly still.
The rustling of noise awoke him from his day dreaming, he had gotten better at avoiding that in recent days. Kanji turned to face the noise with a small smile on his mouth, "Yo. You must be that kid they sent out to meet me." Kanji motioned for the kid to come closer, he was short which is to be expected of a child. He stood no more than five foot three, Kanji eyed the kid closely. He didn't have a headband on or anything remotely normal from what is seen in Kumogakure. "So. Who are you?" Kanji's glare hardened as the kid stood stiff. His messy brown hair fell on his face while his eyes remained hidden behind it. He wore a long brown cloak and small brown boots could be seen peaking out beneath it. "I-I'm..." Kanji frowned as he had read up on the many shinobi in the world.
He had a small idea of what was happening from just the kid talking but decided to test this theory. "Catch." Kanji said as he pulled out an ink pen and tossed it at the kid. It bounced against his chest and nearly fell to the ground before he caught it. His movements were jerky and not at all fluid. "Found you." Kanji cocked his right arm back and brought it down on the kid's head. He smashed it entirely and pulled his arm back quickly. He brought his left knee up just as fast crushing the boy's chest. No blood spurted out but wood and other mechanical parts fell out. Kanji picked up the ink pen just as he head noise come from the forest. To any normal person it looked as if the chuunin just killed an innocent child, but Kanji was in combat mode and prepared to kill. "Who is there?!" He called out just as he slipped the ink pen back into his pouch and replaced it with a kunai in his right hand. |

| It had already been a full morning for Zenki as he walked down the street with a new type of respect for himself. Having done a couple of missions since gaining the title of genin, he had finally been able to purchase shoes, and an outfit that actually fit him well. However today would be the most rewarding of all, because today once the mission was done and he got paid, he would sign his name for an apartment. It wasn't much, but it would be his own, a place with a roof, bed, shower and a kitchen. To Zenki, he felt as those he were about to be reborn into something new, and different and his mind crackled with the many possibilities as he walked toward the given destination he was to meet his partner at.
His first assignment with the possibility of having to use deadly force, it both worried and excited him. Zenki breathed in the moist air as his shoes sounded off against the pavement.
He saw his supervisor in the distance and began a light jog towards him, and as he did so, a small child seemed to appear out of the woods near him. Zenki looked puzzled for a moment, he wasn't informed that any other genin would be taking part in this mission. Placing it as just a simple miss-communication, he thought nothing of it...
Until the Chunnin smashed it to bits...
Wood and other mechanical parts spewed from what one would have thought to be a child, but as Zen closed within 30 meters he could tell that the thing wasn't a boy at all.
"Who is there?!"
Zenki halted his job to a cautious walk,
"My name is Hyuuga, Zenki...I am the genin that is assigned to this mission...", his voiced rolled smoothly. He wasn't sure if he would have to defend himself so he stood ready for a sudden attack if it so happened. |

| "My name is Hyuuga, Zenki...I am the genin that is assigned to this mission..." Kanji slipped the kunai back into his pouch as he gave a more friendly demeanor upon hearing his name. "Ah! Zenkichi! Good to see you. Seems like one of those bandits might be a bit of a puppet user. I suggest being careful. Crafty bastards they are." Kanji said with a smile as he motioned towards the heap of rubble next to him. Any normal puppeteer would recognize that it was no longer usable. He motioned for the large genin to come closer, he still had the height advantage but the genin was definitely larger than him. "Oh. A large one eh? I hope you're durable. You need to be to keep up with me." Kanji said as he smiled. He waved a hand towards his right which was Zenki's left currently as a way to get him to look over there. "We have a few guest. I was hoping one was you so I could take the others out no problem. But it looks like they all weren't too friendly. That one seems to think he is hidden perfectly while," Kanji motioned to his left as the previous direction which was his right had noise emit from it. He had obviously tried to flee realizing Kanji knew of their location. "He at least tries his hardest. Take your pick. The try hard one or the cocky one. Of course the cocky one is starting to flee so he probably isn't too melee inclined. At least this one is brave enough to stay against us. I'll let you have him, just don't let him get the best of you. I'll be over to the right making sure this one doesn't get away."
Kanji said as he pulled out his kunai once more, he dashed towards the right after the fleeing bandit. As Kanji left the area the bush to the left began to emit noise. A small figure exited the bush; the girl had to be no more than thirteen. "Hm. So he left me with the big one? How polite of him..." She said, her voice obviously sarcastic. "Well... Let's get started... This'll be no fun if we just stand here staring at each other." She said in a bored tone of voice. She finally took up a stance similar to fighting but at the same time kept her pose of disinterest. She obviously was looking forward to fighting the chuunin after he figured out a puppet with only two seconds of interaction. She had brown hair pulled back into a spikey ponytail. Even with her hair pulled back it had a spikey feel to the front of it, a few bangs covered her left eye. She wore a yellow jacket with a black stripe going down the arms. Her arms remained crossed holding up her still developing b-cups. Her jacket remained zipped up but you could see a black shirt peaking out of her collar. She wore yellow gym shorts that had a black stripe going down the sides. They stopped just at her knees and black socks that stopped just half way up her shin. She wore yellow sneakers that had a dull color to them to match the rest of her clothes.
The one thing that stood out the most though, was her center of gravity remained constant. At any given opening she would strike instantly, her weapon of choice appeared to be just her fist or her feet since no weapon was visible. Kanji however had easily caught up to his target. It was like chasing down a snail for him, the bandit wasn't someone that he took any particular interest in. They tried to stab him with a kunai only to be punched directly in the face. Not too durable of a bandit, they were knocked out immediately and Kanji decided to take them to the village right away. Kanji would be able to come back almost immediately once he turned the bandit in. It wasn't going to be a long trip and Zenki could hopefully hold his own against one bandit. |

| "Oh. A large one eh? I hope you're durable. You need to be to keep up with me."
A soft smirk curled at the edges of his mouth as he heard this, letting a small chuckle escape his throat.
"I'm actually rather delicate, it why I chose this line of work.", he responded dryly leaving just the slightest hint of sarcasm on the end of the statement.
Zenki nodded his head slightly as he followed along with Kanji's detailed layout of what was happening around them. It appeared as though Zenki and Kanji were in the mist of a make-shift ambush, poorly executed, but an ambush none the less. Upon being spotted a few of the bandits bolted away from their vicinity, Kanji followed suit.
Hearing the girl step from the bushes to the left caught him a bit off guard, they were being quite blatant in their intentions to resist even if it meant violence. Zenki sighed quietly to himself as his eyes took in the young girl, it would be a shame to have to hurt her, but it wasn't like he had an option at this point. He wasn't leaving without her, and she wasn't leaving without a fight, and he surely wasn't going to go back to the village homeless and defeated.
"Hm. So he left me with the big one? How polite of him...", she begrudgingly stated, "Well... Let's get started... This'll be no fun if we just stand here staring at each other."
"Before we begin, I would like to give you a better view of the situation, you have two choices, and only these two choices. You can A) Come peacefully, which is my personal favorite....or ... B) Come bloody, beaten, and broken, and possibly dead. Either way your coming, your feeling on the matter are irrelevant." , The velvety voice spoke matter of factly.
The large boy now turned fully to face the girl, his white eyes narrowing slightly as he met her gaze. They stood about 15 meters apart, far enough for her to feel that she was relatively safe as she watched the flat-footed genin suddenly exude a very predatory presence. His movements while running towards the chuunin had left the girl with the impression that she held the supreme advantage of movement. His large and bulky frame would be his undoing, no matter how strong he was, he would have to catch her first. She shook her head slightly and spoke simply and plainly.
"B..."
There was a slight shimmer in his eyes as knelled down on one knee, holding her gaze with the intensity of his own, the veins around his eyes began to bulge. What kind of eye are those, she thought as she watched the boys strange behavior. Was he a doton user? Had he cast some sort of genjutsu? What was it that was it about his eyes and that ridiculous fighting stance that suddenly made her feel as she were in the cross-hairs. She was poised and tense, trying to find out what was happening, suddenly her eyes grew wide as it became apparent.
He was incredibly fast...
Not just for his size or age, just fast. He closed the distance much quicker than she realized and was within striking in less that 5 seconds, his hands lashing out violently at her face twice and her chest one. She weaved her head away from the quick strikes and blocked the chest blow with a well time hand block that pushed it towards left. As the blow drifted away from her body she brought up her left knee to send it crashing into his solar plexus.
Instead of trying to fight gravity as he lost his footing, he excepted its law, and used it to turn his body in a cork screwing motion as he made his way towards being horizontal. His omnipotent view gave him warning of the knee that was coming for his stomach. He used redirected punch an sent it crashing to her uprising knee, resulting in a rather loud impact as it shot her knee down and away. In the very same motion he extended out his elbow and whipped it around towards her forehead, making brilliantly flush contact. The girl felt her vision rock to and fro as the elbow crashed into the side of her face. Her balance shifted quickly as she leaped backwards about 10 , her entire head still ringing from the head trauma. The boy fell to the ground and swiftly footpicked back up right, he was ridiculously agile for his size, his coy movements and lazy demeanor hid a surprisingly competent fighter. She knew this wouldn't end well for herself, but she had no desire to see if there was something else up his sleeve, besides, his eyes looked even more intently than they did before, and a lot more dangerous. She grumbled huskily as the boy began to move closer to her with slow and intent steps.
"A...I will take option A..."
Zenki stopped upon hearing her newly formed choice, a slight smirk came across his face and as he exhaled the veins around his eyes no longer bulged out. He bowed respectfully before he spoke again.
"Most excellent, I may now have the energy to bet somethings for my apartment.", he said with a rather cheery tone.
The girl though a bit puzzled by his statement, but put herself in his custody non the less. As they walked among the silence The girl studied the boy, he seemed to be a lot different than most, sort of aloof and spacey. Right before she was handed off to one of the senior ranking ninja she turned and asked the boy one simple question.
"What's the deal with your eyes?"
An eyebrow arched slightly as he found the question quite odd, but decided to answer it anyway.
"If you get your things straight with the village, then one day I will tell you.", he said casually as he walked away.

| Kanji appeared behind the girl Zenki had managed to beat, she wasn't hand cuffed or anything. "Rookie mistake." Kanji said plainly as he was crouched low looking at her gym shorts. "You always wears skirts or something that shows off your panties." Kanji spoke dryly as the girl turned around flustered. "Gah! Stop that you pervert!" She swiped at Kanji only to have the tall chuunin back away. "I tease I tease. But still, Zenkichi, you need to tie them up. It is a just in case. No offense to you miss but you know, we have to treat everyone the same." Kanji said as he patted her head. He had a small smile on his face while she mumbled and tried to swipe at him again. "Zenkichi, you did good in not beating her senseless. I can't say the same for the one I caught. He is pretty much gonna be out for a while." Kanji chuckled while the small girl got quiet and stood closer to Zenki as if he could stop Kanji from hurting her. "He is okay right...?" "Well of course he is. I didn't kill him. Just broke his face a little." She bit her tongue this time, it would be wise not to anger the chuunin. "But that isn't important. I think he was the puppeteer because on my way back I ran into a few new friends." Kanji motioned behind him where two other males stood watching the three closely. "Really Aoi? You get caught this easily? Pathetic."
One spoke coldly, the other simple stayed quiet and observed from afar. "Oh... Sorry Gil but this guy was strong. He has some weird thing with his eyes. I'd suggest being careful with him." The one she spoke to was tall, he had to be about five foot nine or so. He had black hair that was kept short and spikey, while his outfit consisted of an all black attire. Kanji paid close attention to this one, he seemed to be the strongest. "Ah ah ah. I wouldn't move my fellow Kumogakure shinobi. This is my mission with Zenkichi here. I suggest you let us handle it before I have to fight you for them." The two chuunin behind Zenki and Kanji exchanged looks before stepping back and taking Aoi away with them. They knew full well of Kanji's reputation for fighting all his enemies and not letting them get away. He was still the buzz of the guards after killing a nuke-nin just on the bridge. "Zenki. I mean, Zenkichi. Go get the quiet one. This cocky one is mine." Kanji said with a smile. The one named Gil was dressed just like him without the flak jacket. He obviously stole his clothing from Kumogakure except for the headband. His white skin made him and Kanji seem like an interesting match up to watch. "I'd suggest watching a thing or two. Or you can go fight while I do. Just stay out of my way." Kanji said coldly as he disappeared from Zenki's side and was dashing forward. The quiet one had broken off from Gil and now watched them fighting along with staring at Zenki.
Kanji pulled back his right arm and swung as hard as he could putting his full strength into that blow. Gil didn't or couldn't dodge as it made contact into his stomach. A sickening sound echoed out of his body as he kneeled over. "Shit... Did it... Did it destroy some organs?" Kanji asked with their fight abruptly ended. "No... Just... I think I... I think I wanna give up... I think you nearly punched a hole in me..." Gil said coughing in between each word. Kanji frowned as he crouched down to his level. "Sorry man. I didn't mean to do that. Cmon. I'm sure Zenkichi won't kill your friend. Let's get you inside and to a hospital." Kanji picked up Gil and helped him walk towards the guards where they would take him to a hospital. He would probably just need pain medication but it was enough pain to scare him into submission. "Well... Nothing to do but watch..." Kanji said boredly as he propped himself up against the wall and watched Zenki. |

| White eyes made there way over to the silent chuunin before him, usually Zen would have asked for him to come quietly, then presented him with an ultimatum. However he was becoming a bit ill tempered in present circumstances, and from the look on the quiet mans face and his demeanor, Zen knew he was the fighting type.
He took a deep breath, letting the air fill his lungs, and stretch out his upper torso. He would destroy this man if he had to, with every fiber in his being he just wanted to be in his new home, to have a roof over his head to call his own, and he would break anything that stood in the way of his goal. Currently, this brooding bandit was in his way, which was something that had to change.
A slight growl of irritation emitted from Zenki's throat, as his fist clenched tightly, and the veins around his eyes began to bulge. This put the chuunin before him on edge, he readied himself for the attack that he knew was sure to come, from the gash on Aoi's head he could deduce that the large boy before him was quite gifted in hand to hand combat. It was easy to see that brute, over powering strength would be his weapon of choice.
He was wrong...
The rather large kid crossed the distance between them with the speed and grace of a gazelle before his large fist unclenched and shot out at his stomach with a flat palm. The silent chuunin managed to deflect the blow. What puzzled him is why he felt as though his insides had just been scrambled, the blow had never even touched him. So why did his knees buckle, why did his breathing fail him? All these thoughts passed through his brain as he feel to his knees, trying to make sense of something he had never before experienced, as the boy quickly spun behind him his mind wandered to something he had once heard from his old sensei as a genin.
Flashback "This is only the beginning of your journey as a ninja, you must be wary of the things which you do not yet know. For what you perceive as weak, maybe the strongest thing known to man, and what you think is strength may turn to be your greatest weakness. Take for instance hand to hand combat, it is easy to assume that the one that punches the hardest and lands the most blows will naturally win. However there is a fighting style that is rumored to kill a man without bruising his flesh, or breaking a single bone. I have never seen such a thing, but I have heard it enough times to believe it, the ones that have told me of it called it..."
Present
"Jyuken...", Zenki said calmly as spun towards the man's back and lashed out another flat palm against his tailbone. Which he responded to by falling flat on his face as Zenki's blow landed flush.
From his omnipresent vision he could tell from their expressions that they were shocked at the gentle brutality that they had just witnessed, and thought that he may have killed the man.
"He is fine, breathing, but disabled for the time being. Needless to say he won't be moving of his own accord anytime soon. However, he will need medical attention soon, or his internal organs will fail him." the boy spoke smoothly as he tied the mans hands behind his back.
"I will have to carry this one to our destination Kanji-san.", he spoke as the veins began to recede from around his eyes. He locked eyes with the man to confirm these actions before looking back to the young girl.
His eyes hungrily drank in her body before he spoke, a slight menacing shining through its velvety tones.
"Now that I know your name Aoi-san, I advise you to make no more trouble, because if you do, I going to put my hands on you, and I promise it won't be a pleasurable experience."
With that, Zen put the paralyzed chuunin over his shoulder and follwed Kanji to their given destination. On the way Zenki looked over at Kanji and spoke simply.
"By the way, my friends call me Zen..." |

| Kanji smiled as the genin managed to defeat his opponent despite what seemed to be a simple match. The bandit had gained the upper hand in what seemed like an instance before Zenki managed to finish him off. "He is fine, breathing, but disabled for the time being. Needless to say he won't be moving of his own accord anytime soon. However, he will need medical attention soon, or his internal organs will fail him." Kanji nodded his head as he watched him tie the mans hands behind his back. "I will have to carry this one to our destination Kanji-san." "Of course of course." Kanji said and motioned for him to follow as they all began to walk towards the jail in Kumogakure. They usually had detained criminals put in there and majority of the time they got out after their sentence was served and they were reformed. Kumogakure actually had a pretty low crime rate within the city, just outside of it wasn't the best within the world. Kanji looked over his shoulder at the large genin following him.
"By the way, my friends call me Zen..."
"Do they now? I'll stop calling you Zenkichi then. I just liked the way it sounded. But I can take a hint. You did good not killing him." Kanji said with a smile as they continued walking forward. "Good thing he fought you. If he fought me he would end up like his friend. Hehehe. Oh well. You learn to pull your punches the stronger you get. Maybe one day you can be on par with my strength Zen. Oh. And one more things." Kanji spun on his heels now facing Zenki. They stood before the jail where they would drop off the bandits. "Just call me Kanji. I'm no one special. So honorifics aren't needed. As a matter of fact, I should be calling you Zenki-san. I admire your speed despite your frame. Make sure you keep it up. Maybe one day you could be the fastest in the village." Kanji said with a smile as he patted Zenki on his free shoulder. With that the Senju walked away letting Zenki turn in the remaining bandits and take the glory for himself. Kanji looked around the area before disappearing, he had to go get some donuts for Shinobu. It was the least he could do for her waiting so long for him to get back home.
